I mean, it is up to you whether or not you post on here. If you're just needing validation and friendly words then sure man keep posting,I support you in your efforts . But really, do you need a poll to make that determination?
@pmvines It's not a thing of needing the validation, as stated a couple times in replies I just wanted the community's opinion on if my posts help or hurt. And a poll would determine that. Yes
Well, this is a general forum. This afternoon, of the top eight topics, only two had anything to do directly with cuddling. And a lot of the "cuddling specific" topics that do come up end up just being rehashes of stuff that's already been discussed (because every topic is someone's first). The ability to talk about all sorts of things helps develop a community that is not one-dimensional.
@Concordiaesque - Well said. ☺️
@Concordiaesque That's what I take from it. It's a good way to get a better sense of people in the community. Are we suppose only make posts about cuddling?
Lol ~ I read the title as a question posed to the greater 'we' to ask ourselves as individuals and my first thought was, "Oh, yeah, I probably do..." then opened the thread while having my second thought of, "I suppose if people don't like it they'll let me know." And then here you are @Jova114 showing us that indeed, people will let us know (unsolicited) what they think.
I honestly beleive it speaks to your open and caring nature that there was someone who felt like telling you such a thing would actually be welcome feedback. Isn't that lovely?
Keep being you. You're a delight and if people don't like your input, they can scroll past... oooh, or maybe even get a [different/work on changing their own] life. 🤗
I do wish we could toggle off posts we wanted to hide from our feed. Then everyone would see more of the posts they like and would be less annoyed by the posts that annoy them.
@quixotic_life Thank you. If he didn't block me after messaging me I would of talked to him and tried to pick his brain and see his point more. But the way he went about it made me feel like I was to feel guilty and ashamed of posting.
@MonkeyNeedsAHug That would be a good improvement. It's work on another social platform
@Jova114 I love your posts ♥️Keep them coming🙂 Jealousy is an awful thing; the more people that love you; the more haters that you will have.
Here is how I wish we could handle posts:
Thank you so much @Suzyq123456
Rubbish: Please refrain from posting meaningless threads and one word (or short) nonsense posts.
This is the rule I reference when dealing with pointless posts. There have been some that have made me want to remove their posts but I had refrained (though other mods have taken action on those same posts). The ones that get me are the the ones that don’t provide an opportunity for the community to get involved at all. Trash posts by the former member(s) that they would make multiple times a day. @Jova114 I haven’t seen anything remotely like that from you, though I have been on the forums very little lately with the exception of making my own pointless post about video games, as usual 😅
@Jova114 Your posts bring joy and lighthearted discussion. Those who object are outing themselves as having the quality of turds—dumping on joy because they have nothing good to offer.
@Charlie_Bear Well I am pleased that I'm not breaking any official rules. And though some of my posts may be a bit of a reach (a Harry Potter reference because my glasses broke) my hope is the community has fun with it.
@BoomerSpooner Thank you. In a garden of positivity, there will still be weeds right?
@Jova114 - I am late to this discussion because this has been a really bad week. However, I wanted to STRONGLY concur with what @AllAboutSoul said above. I enjoy and appreciate your contributions to the forum. It is unfortunate we have some members of this community who want to pull everyone down and spread misery but please don’t let them get to you.
I'm sorry to hear it's been a rough week @JohnR1972 If you need to vent about it I'm here for you man.
And thank you! I'm glad others see what my intentions are when I post/comment. The good in this community outweighs the bad by tons!!!
HEY! You brighten my day. People can be cruel when they feel threatened by someone that has more attention coming in their direction. Shrug it off. Haters going to hate, hun. You're a ray of sunshine. Don't forget that!
@Jova114 I agree with you however when I joined CC the purpose of the forums was kept to cuddling related situations no matter how much of a stretch it was. Now it's the extreme opposite. Pretty soon your gonna see topics like "My MIL is constipated what should I do? or should I get my oil changed before or after vacation?" Nothing wrong at all for asking for advice or opinions but so many off topic stuff and the same questions being asked 10,000 times gets old. And yes I don't have to read the forums, but I enjoy seeing some of the topics and opinions on some things and maybe learn a thing or two. Not hating or putting anyone down.
Post your heart out who cares, if is too much people can just not read them. To the ones who don’t mind it and need some light hearted distractions they’ll have plenty of forum posts to read 📖
Spend a few days to reflect on what is going to be the most satisfying/beneficial route for you to take and then make your decision. Personally I’d advise to find a posting ratio that works for you, is posting one per week enough to keep you happy and consistent without making a post daily/every other day? Does posting even bother you, because if it doesn’t bother you then go post crazy. There is no rule or limit to how much or how often you can do it. So only you get to decide ☺️
@Syins Your response on here was funny to read and spot on 👌🏾
~ Happy Cuddling Everyone 🤗 ~
@JustPlaneCuddle Hey! Thank you! 🤗
@robroo I totally get that and no offense taken whatsoever. I feel this site and community has grown and some just love to interact with each other.
@SouthernDoll A doll you are indeed! Thank you. I may try to limit how much I post only for the sake of the community and not to water it down. But I'll still post 'internet slowing' things lol
@Jova114 I personally love 💕 your posts. They’re so positive and uplifting. Sometimes I’ll be in a bad mood and look at your post and give it that quintessential eyeroll, like “oh, yea, another sweet post!” but then I’ll be drawn in a couple moments later, read it and feel that smidgen of positivity creep in to say there’s still nice people like Jova in the world. Lol it’s so cheesy but sometimes it’s so comforting even if off topic - there is a comfort there in remembering the little things that people do often dismiss as being meaningless nothings.
It’s like Dostoyevsky’s book, Poor People, when he was talking to the man in his business suit for an important discussion and Dostoyevsky’s button popped off, and all he could wonder was where his button had gone. It was important that he find that button if anything else in the world would fall into place again. That button suddenly having fallen out of place in his life and at that moment, held some sort of symbolic key to righting it again…if only he could find it that is. All this while the man continues talking, not realizing a thing. Something he’d dismissed so innately, he hadn’t even stopped to notice.
Perspectives. You never know which ones you’ll effect in your positive journey.
Like others have said, you keep being you. Your posts are welcomed by me.
I think there is a nice balance to be had. It's not really an issue of volume. There are posters (both ones that have been banned and ones that are alive and well) that pretty much post everything that enters their brain. That is selfish and it's not a useful forum contribution but, in fact, just a way to get attention. As long as it's intended as a useful contribution to generate meaningful discussion, it's certainly fair game.
@Jova114 You be full you & don’t look back.
@Jova114 I like your posts also. Just you sharing seems like a warm loving hug. I feel sorry for the person that left that message to you. Sounds like he or she needs a 🤗 hug
@PrettyLuv That is so sweet and it means alot! I'm glad i can brighten your day! 😁
@jplemmon I try to keep it balanced and not post every thought I have. The one where he mentioned about my broken glasses was more of a Harry Potter reference for fans, at least that was my intention.
@teddybear888 🤗🤗🤗
@KozyKim Thank you so much. That is so sweet!
@Jova114 I think you're a good dude who has a good heart, along with some interesting things to say. That being said , I'm not entirely sure why you would feel a need to post a thread about whether or not to post . It seems rhetorical and perhaps even attention seeking (don't really mean that as an insult, just an observation and I might be entirely off base )
Once upon a time I put a lot of thought and effort and care into my posts. If you look back over the years at my posts and threads you can literally pinpoint the exact moment that all of the f@cks I once possessed left my body , mind , and spirit. Now I mostly come on here to talk about poops, or tell someone they are being a whining incel, or just to simply yell at the clouds because I'm ornery like that sometimes.
So my guy just don't worry whether or not anybody else likes what you post . Just because they aren't showering you with accolades doesn't mean they have a problem with you. And even if they did, who gives a shit really right ?
@pmvines you’re so right who gives a poop!! Lol
I enjoy about all the posts but be aware there is a few trolls here like most sites out there that will twist and bend about anything said to call the poster a Warmonger, a Racist, a Misogynist, a Misandrist, a Homophobia and just a jerk. I have been here long enough that I could name the few but I won’t. I don’t understand why they are not banned. I have learned things about people that makes me block them and have made me contact them because I think they would make a great Cuddle Partner. I wish there was one button to click so you could see what a person has posted as it would let you learn way more than what they have in their profiles. So I say KEEP posting!!!!
@waynewv Money is why. 🤫 There is a way to see what you mentioned, just replace your username at the end with theirs:

@pmvines Firstly, thank you! The meaning behind this post was to get the community's opinion. If it turns out I wasn't helping then I'd fall back. Because I care about the community. You are right, I shouldn't give a damn but I just wanna help. I can see how this post itself can come off attention seeking but that was not my intent. I appreciate all the feedback and support, but also appreciate constructive criticism. Thank you for your take man.
