I never understood why math is hated. It's like solving puzzles and it feels so satisfying when you get to a correct answer.

Haha. I'm getting close to completing my courses. I still have to do my Senior Project which lasts for two semesters. First semester is the design work and calculations of any useful electrical device and the second semester is actually building it from scratch.

@TxTom - Calculus is supposed to make math easier when calculating rates of change. Before calculus was invented, these calculations was way more complicated.
You can't calculate a slope of a curved line using regular algebra unless you want to give yourself a stroke trying. That's where calculus comes in.
I carry this little book around whenever I travel. This makes me what I call a non-functioning nerd. I love reading about this stuff, but I cannot actually do most of the math.
@TxTom - It's just about learning the rules. For example, here's a simple problem when calculating the rate of moving object accelerating:
The problem is X^3. (X to the third power). To take the derivative of that, you take the exponent and move it front of the X and subtract the exponent by one and it becomes 3X^2 (3X squared). The math notation is X^3 dx/dt which means the rate of change of x in respect to time.
To go the other direction is called the integral and the notation of that is the squiggly line resembling a snake (with dx at the end meaning in respect to x) like you saw in that meme.
The numbers by the integral sign (0 and 1 in that case) are the bound limits and they get plugged into X and that's how I got 2 after solving the integral.

Don’t forget the rule where division of any (x) in an integral eq’n converts to subtraction when solving. That’s integral to solving the integral … lol. Had to.
For those wondering, it basically reduces to x^2(13x^2 - 22x + 11). That’s its most reduced form. From there you can plug in the upper limit to solve
Normally you would solve the integral then plug in the upper limit and subtract the same solved integral using the lower limit.. [x^2(13x^2-22x+11)] (upper limit) - [x^2(13x^2-22x+11] (lower limit), but since the lower limit is zero, the second part of that cancels out.
