@teddybear888 Writing data to silica is so 10 yrs ago lol. They’ve surpassed that storage capacity a long time ago. Now we’re in the age of computer DNA storage.

Not writing data to discs, but writing data to dna.

I think I may have posted it before but if not, here it is again:

I watched an interesting clip about a company that created chat bots to become your “perfect partner”.

We all crave a relationship without risk of failure, but what are the downsides of using AI to craft our partners? Bonding with other humans is risky, we risk rejection, relationships going badly, broken hearts. The alternative is just a lie, but it can seem so real. It’s fascinating to explore:

  • @CatGirlColorado that sounds a lot like where the VR world is eventually headed. Intermingling between AI and humans in a very intrinsically interconnected way that eventually would be difficult to tell apart or even to separate us from like how attached we are to our phones and PCs.

  • I love this thread...

    Compliant Mechanisms

  • @TxTom I can only imagine how nano compliant mechanisms will be applied in bio-chemical processes.

@PrettyLuv The way technology is, we'll be limited only by our imagination.

  • Why am I just now seeing this thread?! Loving this 💖

  • Don't have a video and it's not new tech. What I have is old but a relatively unknown fact to the masses. A "Googol" is a number 10^100. A "Googolplex" is also a number 10^10^100. And this is how Carl Sagan explained it. IF, you decided to write a Googol Plex out in long numerical form, 10000.... , etc., there wouldn't be a piece of paper long enough to be stuffed in the known universe. ✌️
