Ladies, what’s your location preference?

Ladies, Would you tell me your location preference and why?
Will you only meet in public, or will you not meet at a hotel? Will you not meet at your house? Will you not meet at the other person’s house? And your reasoning please.

  • I only list Public cuddles as an option. I used to also list Guest, but no longer. I have never listed Host. Reasoning...

I don't host for a few reasons. One, I live very rural and remote, and no one is annnnywhere near me. So it wouldn't matter, anyway. 😄 Two, I'm very protective of my safe space and my privacy. Three, I have a dog who is an angel for me but a demon with strangers, and very territorial...not an ideal cuddle buddy addition. 😅 He would bark incessantly, at the very least. Four, though my boyfriend thoroughly supports my involvement in the cuddle world, I just don't feel like cuddling other people on our bed. That would just be weird. Plus, who has time to wash that many sheets?

I no longer list Guest as an option, because unfortunately, I have had to majorly dial back who I can trust to be one-on-one with in an enclosed space. While there are a few very close friends who I will cuddle privately as a Guest, I have found that listing this as an option only causes problems, because brand new people I'm meeting can expect me to come to their house immediately, or get miffed when they realize that I begin strictly with Public cuddles. To avoid all that drama, I simply removed it, and let people know that if non-public cuddles become an option, I will let them know.

Which leaves Public cuddles, my one and only, near and dear to my heart! Anyone who isn't willing to meet me in public, or begin with public cuddles, is just not going to be a good fit for me. I have no issues with anyone who doesn't feel comfortable cuddling in the public view, as I have social anxiety myself, and I also get that a lot of people don't have anxiety about it but simply believe it should be a private thing. That's perfectly acceptable, it's just not how I roll, so we won't be compatible and we can each find those who are compatible with our different approaches. There's always more cuttlefish in the sea. ;)

As for hotels, I had a strict no-hotel policy for almost a year, because it just gave me icky vibes, mentally. Eventually when I shared my first hotel cuddle with a friend, I literally blocked the door open with a computer chair. On one hand, this is funny; on the other, it's sad that having my trust and body autonomy compromised has made me have to be this strict and paranoid. I have only shared hotel cuddles with two trusted individuals at this point, and it is definitely not something I am looking to do in the future, unless I really know and trust the person, and there isn't a better option.

    Great questions, @CuddleHugs01234!

  • Thanks, @SunsetSnuggles !!!! I appreciate the detailed feedback!!!!

  • In Canada 🇨🇦 , I can only do guest and public. My park I live in is too far away from everyone and a bit of a pain in the butt to accommodate anyone.
In Florida, I can host, be a guest or do public. I love hosting. 🤗

  • I do host occasionally and I love it, but it's hotels, never in my home. Love getting out my starry night projector, music, regular candle and battery candles.
As a guest, it's a bit difficult to set up and tear down quickly (and not forget anything.) I'm at about 5 minutes now, it's very methodical.
Public is nice, outdoors (park bench, hammock, blanket on the beach) for summer, but a theatre or restaurant can be a fun snuggle, too.

  • @AllAboutSoul oh I love the idea of the starry night projector for cuddles. Sounds so cozy. I like creating a cozy space with lights, candles, oil defuser, etc. but I hadn’t thought of a projector. Yay. :)

  • I don’t have a preference, my only limitation is having the place be at a distance no farther than 45 minutes of driving for me. I’ve done public cuddles, cuddles at the movies, cuddles in a car, my place, their place, hotels, as long as the location does not require me to travel too much, I am solid, and I am there lol.

  • Thanks y’all for sharing your preferences. :)

  • I find a home setting is the best, but if they’re traveling and not from the area then a hotel is often the logical choice. However, if they’re from the area and want a hotel, thats a red flag for me.

  • @ShaneSchrute bought on Amazon, was less than $20

  • In order of preference:
    1. Public (i.e. movie theater)
    2. Hotel
    3. Their place
    4. My place

My preferences are based on a combination of how safe I feel in each location and availability.

  • Funny enough, here's my thought process....

I LOVE to host, but I also have multiple guest rooms in my home that are strictly for guests or clients, so many personal things are not around to create this neutral space ...It's in SE Portland which is about only 20 minutes from airport and only couple hours from Seattle, so I do have prime spot to host. Doesn't make sense to get hotel and all the costs that go with it.

However, I vet people that visit and do have a home security camera system -- in the five years I've done this, not a single issue in my home.

When I travel, I prefer bnb just due to it being little more personable, however I host in hotel as well --- I typically do not go to other people's houses, especially when traveling, unless I have a close connection with them from past experiences, too many factors to take into account and no idea where the exits are in any place makes me stressed. I don't even sit at restaurants with my back to the door.

Public is fun, but I prefer a more one on one experience in the comfort of my own space. Though I love a good picnic in the woods 😀

  • ^^^^ what she said. I host whether I'm at home or traveling.

  • Preferably a hotel, being a guest at their place, or public cuddle session. I love moving around a lot which is why I am a guest and don't really like the idea of staying one location for many hours. I love the idea of going to new various places and adventures which gives me huge excitement and thrill.

  • As a make cuffler the female needs to feel safe.

  • I feel most confident and safe when I host at my home.
@stormydaycuddle however you meant it, as a Pro, it would be difficult to do this unless I am ‘hosting’ regardless of the location.

  • I strictly host at my office, or in public. I'll consider hotels if it's a repeat client or someone with a lot of great Karma. I'll be guest at a home only if I've worked with them a few times and trust them, or for an overnight but after heavy vetting.

    I have a 7-year-old, so I won't bring strangers into my home.

I love my office because they lock the doors at night, we have security, and it probably deters anyone who may have malicious intentions.

  • @carrieanne i usually go somewhere and I have a hotel I stay in and book just like I was at home. People still need to come to me. I don’t go to anyone else’s hotel or home.
