@thawktrue2 you’re the bees knees. 🤗
thanks @stormydaycuddle
@stormydaycuddle I doubt you're going to The Bad Place lol But that lil fluffball. I wanna give it belly rubs!!!
@Bear PRINCESS!!!! Look at that girl 🥰🥰🥰
@Lion13 Thank you mate. It's really thank to the community for being so positive
@Jova114 She has become a delight in my life. When I come home, she is now full of so much happy energy, especially since the cone is off. It has become part of my daily routine is to come home and just decompress with her.
I also appreciate the effort you make in regards to your positive thoughts and threads
@Bear I am so so happy for you to have her in your life! That kind of love and loyalty means so much. And like I've said before, the most comforting thing about pets is they are cuddling with you because they want to. No such thing as 'obligation ' toa pet.
Well thank you. Sometimes you can't stop the bad just outweigh it with good
@thawktrue2 That’s great about your back. And I’m sorry for the loss of your son. A virtual hug to you!
I will add, and I am aware this is a bit personal, but I am talking with someone to be my sponsor on my recovery journey. 😁
A certain OP had recommended a game (Illusion of Gaia) on the Super Nintendo for me to play, and I played it, completed it, and loved it! …and now I am on an action rpg kick and I’m having a lot of nostalgic fun, so that’s a fun little positive for me ☺️
@CharlieBear That OP sounds like a cool guy 🤣🤣🤣 But I am very happy you enjoyed playing it and it lead to more nostalgic action rpg fun 😁
@OhioMike Nice C4! I’m looking into a C5 myself
@sunnysideup Letters AND numbers? I'm having math class flashbacks lol
I thought I would share a pictures of my grandson. He just turn one.
@falcons68 Oh my! What a precious grandson you have. Look at that messy face! 🥰
@Jova114 Thank you, he is such a happy boy.
@falcons68 No, thank you for sharing! The joy a happy child brings is immeasurable
Tyoes A, B, AB, and O, all of which can be positive
Positively 4th Street
@pmvines Lol very true. I always forget my blood type.
@BoomerSpooner 4 is my favorite number So I'll allow it lol
@lonelytauros look at the cute kitty
Thank you @Jasmineluvshugs I needed that
@thawktrue2 I wonder if saying the opposite thing every morning would help - “Like I wish I could feel good again.”
And idk, when I think of a rock, I think of sediments and jade and minerals and emeralds, and how water shapes all those things. I have some thoughts but I’m not sure.
Really sorry about your loss.
Some positive things: Since results from a blood test taken at a doctor's visit in July I have worked on eating better and exercising more. I have lost about 20 pounds (still want to lose 10 more), my cholesterol levels have gone down significantly, and lowered my hemoglobin A1C as well. Biggest most consistent change was changing what I drink. I went from drinking a lot of sugary drinks every day (sodas, milkshakes, lots of juice, sports drinks, etc) to drinking mostly water with maybe one or two glasses of fruit juice in a day (though some days I just have water exclusively).
I sought out ways to encourage myself to exercise more, and found out that my health insurance company (United Healthcare) offers rewards for various things (usually small daily rewards for walking a certain amount and getting enough sleep), so I definitely try to earn those, using a few different apps to track that, as well as another app called Evidation that I'm earning points for.
I've applied to a bunch of jobs recently and have started to hear back from some, so I'm preparing for assessments and interviews, feeling hopeful.
I am working on some certifications in responsive web development and Javascript.
Wow @CSnMUS87 that sounds amazing. I love what you’re doing across the board.
@CSnMUS87 Great job!
@CSnMUS87 Ooooo, I hope you like it better than the current stuff. Although...I still need my taxes done. lol. Jk.
@PrettyLuv , @CuddleHugs01234 , @stormydaycuddle Thank you. 😊. Oh I hope so too, I'm pretty sure I will, if only for the fact that it's something new and interesting to learn more about. Lol you're always welcome to bring those taxes here even after I leave. I'll just mention the referral. 😁😂
@CSnMUS87 I have United Healthcare Plus as well and I have a tip for you—don’t sign up for their notifications. They will hit you 9 or 10 times a day.
@BoomerSpooner I just use the UHC app and never get any notifications. I do wish there was an option to remain logged in. Gets tiring to type my password in every time I want to check my rewards balance lol.
