Maybe you guys should just simply meet up and not make it about one person's decision to decide on it . Seems planning and canceling last minute is a pattern . There are loads of places and dates and times to do this sort of thing. Just show up .

It was canceled due to rain. Sept 30th has nothing going.
@everyone Yes, I had to cancel the event soon as I arrived. It would not have been comfortable with the ongoing rain. It’s unfortunate, but things happen. Thank you to everyone who came out or tried to attend 🫶🏽
Maybe we should try planning this event again at an indoor location?? I know we were trying to avoid costs, but it'll atleast guarantee space. Chicago has low cost event spaces that could accommodate.
This thread was created for the purpose of meeting others in the Chicago cuddling community. As much as I want to tag certain people on this thread I won’t, and I’ll continue to the point. For unfortunate circumstances with the weather in the summer, the meet & greet did not happen. With the holidays coming up, it would be nice to set a meet up with people who can actually attend.
Alternatively I’ve had people reach out to me in hopes of setting up an indoor meet & greet. Also, someone else reached out and they would like to try an indoor event in the near future, and I’m all for it. Stay on the look out for an update, it looks like an exciting one!

We decided to reschedule the Chicago meet and greet- thought it would be best to plan a little more ahead of time to give people from out of town the opportunity to join in who may wish to, as I had several people express an interest to travel into Chicagoland! Still looking for a co host to help plan out the details for an awesome meet and greet, but am looking towards November 20th if there’s enough interest to do it that soon. Or sometime in December- it can be a great city in the winter with lots to see and do! Please feel free to reply directly in the thread for your preference or message me directly- if you’re interested in co hosting or have ideas for a hosting space as well! I know it’s not easy if you’re trying to do something yourself but if you get a few people to commit to a date and place then maybe you can make it happen!!

I wish I could say I was planning on coming out there again soon, but I was just out there for my sons graduation so I probably won’t be coming that way again for a little while.
