Freddy Mercury and Jacqueline du Pre. If you're not familiar with the latter, she is considered one of the best cellists of all time who died of multiple sclerosis at only 42. Though her career only lasted about 12 years due to her illness, her performances in the 1960s and early 70s shape the careers of most classical cellists today.
Here are a few of my favorite of her performances:

Beethoven's "The Ghost" Piano Trio in D minor. Already one of my favorite Beethoven pieces, but I'll forever be in awe of Jacqueline's technique in the largo section at 9:05 - to play THAT softly without the bow skipping is next to impossible, and yet she does it repeatedly, flawlessly. I don't think a non cellist can understand just how difficult it is to finesse the bow that delicately. Please excuse me while I alternately cry in awe and envy of the beauty and skill. 😭😅
Saint-Saën's "Le cygne”, known in English as "The Swan". One of the most famous cello solos ever, and her version is my favorite. I'd listen to it over and over while I was trying to master playing it, and I ended up using it for choreographing one of my first ballet pointe solos for competition.

I’d bring back Paul P. twice. I attended his funeral today and although not famous, he was the most talented musician/singer multiple people had ever worked with. Could play any instrument you have him. Best guy ever.

If I were to pick 2 people who I would like to have back for the mere mere fact that they were only just getting started making a difference in the music scene and I'd love to have seen what direction they took their respective genres and what impact they'd have, then I'd bring back Darby Crash of the Germs and Lil Peep. Both were bringing something unique and artful and they were only just getting started.
@stormydaycuddle I have a real funny video of me that Chester was a part of. It was never made public. If we ever meet I will have to show you. It's pretty comical.
@RockRollCuddle Im still angry at Chester. I bought tickets to see Linkin Park in Washington, DC around 2010-2011. I think they had recently released Waiting til the End and I think it was the Great Divide or New Divide from Transformers.
They canceled the first concert within one hour of the concert and they had only emailed us and posted a paper outside the concert hall. I metroed an hour into downtown just to see the notification. They rescheduled 6 months later and they were sick again after performing in NYC and the same thing happened. I heard they partied really hard in NYC. I was mad, but upset too that I missed out.
Also sad about Kurt Cobain and the lead singer of Sublime. Also wished the pumpkins and blink 182 never split. they were never the same after reuniting.
