Yeah, age can and for some does play a factor. So do other factors. I think the bigger the age difference and the younger the person is the more unlikely. 30 something year old might not think too much about cuddling with a 50 something year old. Though someone in his or her early 20s is more likely to think differently. Go to late 30s or early 40s and it becomes less of an issue.
Hi. I appreciate your view on this. If the person posting on here is going to have something posted then they should reply to any message sent. If interested great, but if not also reply. Be polite about it, but yes reply. If your too busy to do this kind of thing, simply take your ad down.
@goodguy197636 I think it's kind of ironic that OP posted something, but didn't respond to comments on his thread. Yet, he wanted others to respond to him.
@Minestrone101 not surprising though, considering that's how these threads tend to go.
Man has poor response rate to his overtures and lacks maturity & insight to figure out why. Man takes to forums to complain about it and reframes the story so that it is 100% not his fault. Couldn't possibly be. Man gets upset that forum responses don't immediately pat him on the back and equally rage against women not doing what man wants. Man rage quits.
@cuddlefaery Your comment deserves a sticky! Solid FAQ answer for all newbies. My first 3 months in the community, I couldn't get a pro to respond and went to another state after finally getting to talk to one (another local pro deactivated on the day of our session). I read, I learned , and I got to know the community.
Most people want instant results and it ain't gonna happen.
@Lovelight Yes! That's a genuine factor as well. Age definitely makes a huge difference! I don't mind so much, but I have tons of life experience and someone older than me, doesn't intimidate me. However, even just a few years ago....I would absolutely have felt too intimidated to be in close quarters with someone who was much older than me.
And @cuddlefaery Just about every time, huh? 🧐and YES @Minestrone101 💯 I wonder when it will dawn on people that us pros (who are mostly women) are actual human beings too and not just here waiting to attend to their every whim and desire....on their timeline? There have been SO many of these types of threads ...complaining about pros not jumping when they say jump... that you'd think some would learn something from them. I mean, the exact same things have been written, hundreds of times on dozens of threads. 🤷🏻♀️
We are human beings too with full lives and families and educational degrees and valid feelings and friends too. You can't message us and suddenly demand us to drop everything for you.....when you are genuinely complete strangers to us. No money is worth us ditching our kids, forgetting about our safety, or risking our jobs....just to pay attention to a legitimate complete stranger online who won't even post a pic on their profile first. AND even if we dropped everything when someone messaged....a lot of those people end up disappearing anyways. So why should we?
I don't understand this....it doesn't make any sense 😣 Having female parts doesn't mean I'm just a robot, on here to serve those who have male parts. 🤷🏻♀️
@RedFox16 Of course they won't post a pic. their wives/partners might find out, and what's the fun in that? lol Maybe other reasons might be shame, low self-esteem/self-conscious, or miscellaneous. There's also a small population who feel "their work might find out," as if all the women cuddlers don't also have jobs and names in the community.
And, when the women are trying to tell men cuddlers what they want, it's disregarded and they go back to complaining about the same thing, bc "how can a fish tell a fisherman how to fish?" (yes you're just a mindless aquatic species lol - and I think that's an Andrew Tate quote haha)
@Minestrone101 🤣🤣🤣 That made me laugh. I mean, that's a fair analogy when you think about it from how OP (and past OPs) have seemed to view things. (also, thanks so much for your insight and input ....you are appreciated 😉)
And when every.single.woman is literally giving step-by-step instructions on the public forums on how to best communicate with them... they're like "Shhhhhhh! Silly woman....you don't know anything about how to communicate with you. Just sit there and be quiet and do things the way I'm insisting to do them (and ignore it when I don't follow my own rules). And things will be juuuuuust fine." People pay huge money to get solid advice like this...about how to talk to women!!
And then we're just over here like wuuuuuuut? 🤷🏻♀️ The men complaining on here don't want to listen to an actual female pros giving direct instructions on how to treat....well, us. I'm literally explaining how to talk to me but these guys don't care and still think their way is better. Even tho they are complaining about how their way isn't working!!! 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
My comment on these kind of topic threads is and will always be:
NO RESPONSE, IS A RESPONSE!
😁
@Katota
There's a ton of wisdom in that.
At times, messages don't go through on this site due to glitches. I've observed that they usually get the initial message once a follow-up is sent. Is this a common issue? I've faced it several times. Of course, some professionals might choose not to respond or they're overwhelmed with messages. I'm waiting on replies from a few, but it's not a major concern.
@RedFox16 Yeah. It really is that simple. lol.
Another common narrative is bringing baggage into cuddling:
"This pro didn't respond to me which reminds me of Kate in 7th grade who didnt like it when I asked her out or my abusive ex-wife. I'm _____ years old and unattractive and no one will ever love me unless this pro responds to me."
I think that's a lot of baggage and a lot of stuff leaning on a pro who's hired to hug you and be nice. Add the whole dissonance of receiving that affection and feeling like they're worthless bc they have to pay for a service that they sought out (if this cashier or hairstylist makes me pay, it means they don't like me).
I think the answer goes back to what you said: listen and show respect (and give it time). And don't make demands.
@palmgk I have not heard of such glitches. 🤔 I wonder perhaps if they are rather a white lie being used because pros/women are tired of being attacked/blamed for not responding "quickly" enough? The same way we are forced to lie about having other plans, or meeting someone, or any number of lies we have to tell to protect ourselves when giving rejections.
@JoyfulHeart Thank you, sometimes I have my moments.😉
@Minestrone101 Lol! 😆 Oh no, the baggage isn't that bad...Wait a minute...Really???😳
Random Entitled Internet Dude:
WHAT DO WE WANT?
Cuddles!
WHEN DO WE WANT THEM?
As soon as I messaged "Hi" into your inbox, dagnabbit!
😆😆😆
Lol! Ladies ya'll know, that "HI" translates as "I demand cuddles NOW!" Ya'll know this, right?😏😄
@Katota unless it's at 2am, in which case it's code word for ... other stuff 🤣
@Katota You're killing me!
And yes. Everyone has baggage. But it's our job to handle it imo and not the next person's.
@Minestrone101 Why did you have to bring up 7th grade Kate again? I was almost over her! 😏😏😏
@JoyfulHeart Haha
At this very moment there are 20 messages in my inbox that i.hsvent opened.. reason being that I prefer to read messages when I'm able to have the time to read , absorb, and properly respond. So I try to just wait until a time when I am able to open them all up ,.read, and respond, and give them the attention they deserve. Otherwise what might happen is I'll glance at it and not really give the time needed to really read it and then it will get buried and I end up forgetting to respond. Or ill open it and realize there is too much to read and respond to at that time so I'll save for later, then again it ends up getting buried in my read messages . Also sometimes I just don't wanna read them because I'm busy doing other things. Even if on the site, I'm not necessarily in a place where I have the mind to the time care and attention I put into an individual as I am when posting a generic comment on the forum. And mind you I say this all as a guy who isn't overwhelmed by messages day in and day out so I can only imagine how some of these inboxes must look . My advice is stop taking things so personally and assuming there's a diabolical reason for it . Sometimes shit just be that way . It's not that deep .
@Katota yes, it’s as simple as you say!
@pmvines when someone hasn’t responded to my message but it says “last online 5 minutes ago” or something like that, I think what you think - too many messages, aren’t in the right headspace to respond to a message. Or they didn’t like something about my profile, but so what, as long as you’re near a main city there are going to be tons of pros
It’s like with cell phones, just because I can reply instantly to a text, doesn’t mean that I have to
@cuddlefaery i haven’t had any issues like that and am also inclined to think it’s a white lie
Messaging pros is incredibly easy - be respectful, don’t show any entitlement, read their profile, include clear picture of yourself that’s shows you are a normal, non-creepy person. Following all these right steps will give you about a 50 % response rate on average I think. If you select only for all star pros you might approach a 100 % response rate. Big age gaps might play a role but this applies more to messaging enthusiasts imo. Race can also play a factor but I think this is a bigger factor when messaging enthusiasts, imo.
The pros that responded here have mentioned why they might not respond back to a message. And there really is any number of reasons why someone wont message back and without a crystal ball it’s hard to know and therefore better not waste my brain cells on imo.
Here in the Boston area I'd say about half don't respond at all. They accept cash for cuddling but I would not call them professionals.
@BillBean Sorry to hear about your experience. How could they improve as professionals?
Interesting. I'm newer to the site and I reply to everyone who sends me a message, even if they live far away. However, I highly prefer messages that contain a photo. I don't know why it is so hard to get a satisfactory photo from people I intend to cuddle. I've had to change my profile to indicate I will NOT set an appointment if someone has not sent me a good pic. (I canceled a cuddle where he'd only send me a pic of him in sunglasses and a hat along with a couple other red flags.)
@BillBean Half not responding seems to be about the average. A lot of professionals are more like enthusiasts that accept money (interactions don't have a professional feel about them)
@SnugglyMel You're one of the rare ones that reply to everyone, I hope you don't get burned out.
And I think you've got a good instincts. If they refuse to send a recent picture of themselves, how would their behavior be like in person?
@SnugglyMel That is super shady! 😎
I reply to practically every msg sent to me unless it is blatantly vulgar usually within an hour or so unless it's late. Then again I'm not a new pro so don't have the volume some girls do.

The currently deactivated OP writes, "..It's respectful customer service.." For me I always find it interesting that some CC members here feel like Professional Cuddlers are the front line of society's customer service woes. After March 2020 customer service in my opinion changed so drastically, I feel we are still trying to solve that. But out of all the respectful customer service issues and concerns I have today, CC doesn't crack my top 1000! 🤔😳
