We've not gotten snow here yet. Though oh gosh, I can't stand it. Although not as much as other places, we get a lot here in Ontario, Canada. I'm not looking forward to it.

@Lovelight its a little hit and Miss here in Ohio. When the forecast says the snowfall is 4 to 8 inches we get a dusting. When the forecast is for a dusting of snow we get a foot ! 😂
@Runawaycuddles - I'm also in Aurora, Colorado and was doing Grubhub. The tips were nice. $15-25 offers. I stopped when it started to get too bad.

I'm on the I20 corridor in Mississippi...sort of the border between the north half and the south half of the state. We NEVER get any snow
I recently moved from the Boston area to Savannah. So far the ONLY improvement is the absence of snow

@Lovelight I hate the cold, and I'm not even a fan of being out in the snow, it's just the cost evenings in on snowy days I like 😂 One of my dreams is to live on the skyway in Minneapolis so I can see the snow, but never have to actually go outside to run errands 🤣

We've only gotten tiny flurries in the Salt Lake Valley, but our mountains have been getting hit for a few weeks now.

Supposed to be a cold and wet winter this year, with La Nina and all.
Because of El Niño here in Oregon the fall & winter are supposed to be warmer and drier. But Mt. Hood just got a foot and half of snow so who knows.

There is at least 6 inches so far here in the Denver metro area. We don't always get this much before Halloween but I think there is something related with El Niño weather system.... It happens every 10 years or something maybe? The Farmers Almanac is saying to expect extraordinary snowfall this year. (At least that is what they said a few weeks ago!)
The one thing about CO.... Whatever the weather is right now, just give it a few days, it will change. Pack your gloves and furry hats, along with your short sleeves and flip flops.... just in case. 😁

I lived in the twin cities for several years in my early 20's and I absolutely fell in love with the skyway 😍 It's got everything from restaurants and grocery stores to bars and doctors offices, plus it's wheelchair accessible! Also, in at least one of the ritzy apartment buildings they have indoor parking and even a indoor rooftop bar, pool and hot tub so yeahhhh that's pretty much everything I'd ever want in life 🤣
I wish more cities had skyways, they really are a brilliant idea!!
Also holy bejesus it's been YEARS since I've seen a first snow this deep outside of a winter storm!
That sounds amazing! I get to the twin cities now and then, and the skyway sounds perfect.
I love the snow too, and it definitely reminds me of Christmas- and when I lived overseas in Asia it was something I missed.

It was like a summer day here in nyc this past Saturday. I think we were somewhere in the 70’s. My friend & I had prepped for a hot chocolate meet up that day since the weather was steadily getting colder leading up to it but day of, no one was wearing jackets, and we ended up ordering a frozen hot chocolate instead (gotta admit - tasted amazing).
This thread is perfectly timed with irony for this morning, I just left a solid 70* of good weather in Chicago to go and decorate the lake house I just bought in Edmonton 😒😒😒😒 needless to say I did not check on the weather before showing up to a whopping 5* below weather here 😂 ….. on the bright side I won’t have to waste any money decorating the backyard since it’s snowed down 🤭🤭😂 so there is my silver lining for this morning !!!!!

Snow here in Columbus. I am SO not ready for that. I hate it when it snows and I still need to mow and do my leaves!
