HOW MUCH WOULD YOU OPEN UP TO A TRUSTED CUDDLER?
I’m not sure I understand the question but I tell everyone everything…so… 🤷♀️
Probably as much as I open up to my ~5+ year friendships, which is...
probably more or less not much. Though who knows, things could change.
PS. How about you?
Totally depends on the person. Some I don't vibe with/feel like opening up to. Others have become instant best friends and our first time meeting or cuddling has turned into six, eight, and even twelve-hour "first times" where we get vulnerable and share very deeply. 😊

It really depends on a number of variables.
I’d be locked up tighter than Fort Knox
Well I’ve cuddled my proctologist…so….
lol @lonelytauros
Some things you just take with you to forever.
I'm really open with people by society's standards, but there are some things I tend to keep to myself if I can. With those it's more of a matter of being in the right place at just the wrong time for my usual defences 😂
Something special seems to happen when I meet a good cuddler... Perhaps the cuddling makes me feel safe, but I end up opening up and telling them things I wouldn't normally tell somebody I was meeting for the first time.
@Gentle_Winds , I thought I was the only one that did that. I think I feel I can talk about things that I have never told anyone else because they don’t know any of my family and friends. But only a person I really feel comfortable with. I have had some great conversations with people I have met here. And sometimes we don’t talk much at all.
Most people I've snuggled up with I've kept it kinda easy more general talk. One person I see maybe 4 or 5 times a year I kinda deep with her. Over the past 6 months I was with another snuggle buddy I did get pretty deep personal talk with and turned out to be a huge mistake. It was so bad she makes me wanna never open up to anyone anymore. So please be careful how much you tell people.
I don't have to open up. I'm just open.
I am fine with opening up to a cuddler, I would just be extremely vague if I felt uncomfortable with it from a privacy point of view, but in all honesty I’m a chatter box 📦 I would eventually end up turning the cuddle session into a therapy session by asking them a plethora of questions about themselves and their interests, so that I can spend time better understanding them before evaluating what experiences I have had that would best suit their needs and the conversation at hand 🤚🏾 🤭😂 !!!

I second what @SunsetSnuggles said. But that could be bc she's the GOAT. 🐐
Initially, just my front door and refrigerator.
pencils @Minestrone101 in for a 12-hour Conversation & Cuddle Caper
FYI, I literally just had Minestrone soup for breakfast. 😁
Or actually probably as much as I open up to cashiers or waiters minus of course the handing over the cash part.
It depends on how long I've known them and how inquisitive they are. I'm typically pretty shy and quiet when I first meet someone, so if they help lead a conversation and ask me good questions, I'm more likely to share and answer those. I can never think of what to just say.
It 100% depends on the person, the vibe and how much we have gotten to know each other. I’ve had enjoyable cuddles with some pros that did not lead to opening much at all and I have had cuddles with some partners that led to quite a bit of opening up.
@TxTom LOL.
@PeopleLikeUs Aww
Trust is like a ladder. Take one rung at a time. Go back down if needed.
@JohnR1972 agreed it’s a matter of feeling safe and able to open up in certain ways. And accepting that everyone has a different comfort level!
@CSnMUS87 that’s a good way to put it. Sometimes it’s not necessary to talk or open up. And sometimes it can be fun to get to know each other more.
@Lovelight LOL! And @TxTom hopefully no moldy cheese is hiding in there, when you open that door!
This thread is very relevant for me right now. My most recent cuddle was vulnerable for me, with a wonderfully kind caring pro. She was an amazing listener.
The things I've worked through safely in therapy are things I have shared.
Personally I don't feel it's fair to treat a cuddle friend as you would a mental health therapist.
😆
@pmvines Oh come on, all I said was...🙄
"Straight jackets are just tight cuddles for your own good."
😜😋😆
Next thing I know, you're running for the hills.
Lol! Why are you always running from your present?😆😆
I'm joking, by the way. 😄😁😆
I feel like if I am open with people, they will, in turn, feel like they can open up to me. That is a beautiful thing in my book. Tell me ALL the things. I dislike small talk. Let's go deep. ❤️
I think similar to TNcompassion Noone has to share of course and I read the vibe to make sure they're ok with it. I can adjust but I prefer silly or deep to reserved small talk.
It really depends on the person. If I connect well with them I’m pretty open. Then again if I don’t get a good connection I probably wouldn’t cuddle.
Not very much.
