Nice video, @Mike403 . While I don't recall ever hearing the name Gauss before, I think I already had a basic understanding of the principles behind that law.
First exam is Wednesday next week(October 4th). The professor said we can have one page of notes front and back.

First midterm is tomorrow(Wednesday, October 4th) from 2-4pm (2 hours) Wish me luck whoever is still reading this thread especially since I didn't do too well on the last two homework assignments, 58% on the last two of them but he gives solutions to study and compare with what I did. This professor also takes points off because I didn't write down what the question was before solving it.

@TxTom - That question isn't for geniuses. You learned that by the 5th grade.
Oof im an engineer and math for me is really a weak point. I have to figure out things like burst rates for fiber testing. It's not something I enjoy. Latency is usually related to length. It gets super complicated. Reflection rates ...attenuation. ok time for a nap lol
I love vector calculus! I wish I had more time too study it.

@TxTom - Speed I think. They have to cover a lot of material in a finite amount of time. We learn to decipher their handwriting.
I need to start thinking about what to build for my senior project. That's where we demonstrate our electrical engineering skills and is required to graduate. It's pretty open ended as long as it's a practical application.

can you do your project based on lights for growth of plants? Could be a cool demonstration in general of efficiency for your project if it fits, however my 70+ house plants + kitchen winter herb garden ....could use a boost here in the NW. 🤣☺️

Patent worthy or a replica/variant of what’s already available?
I recall having to do something similar but the requirement was that it be patent worthy a.k.a novel.
@MissAdventurous - I'm not sure. I might. I'd have to ask. It's supposed to demonstrate to the professors and potential employers what I can do. I'll be presenting it in front of an audience. It'll be another year at least before I start. I didn't register for it yet for next semester. I only have a couple more courses in my major to take.
@PrettyLuv - It just has to be functional and practical. It doesn't have to unique. Just to demonstrate my abilities. A former classmate of mine doesn't drive and rides his bike everywhere. He built an e-bike conversion kit for his project.
