  • @pmvines πŸ™ yeah when someone resurrects a thread I don’t realize it until after I comment.

    Side note: My favorite zombies across all movies/shoes/games are the ones from Return of the Living Dead. They are so collectively overpowered that it’s fun watching the survivors futile attempt at surviving something so hopeless.

  • In keeping with the title content.....

    yeah, but it is better to resurrect an old topic than be lectured about using the search function. Or is it? Catch-22 situation

    Remember kids, in literature and media zombies represent the inevitable death of all living things.

  • I always think of the thread necromancer

  • Bruce Campbell! Bruce Campbell to the cemetery!!! Bruce Campbell, the Dead are calling!!!

    I'm bookmarking this thread to resurrect in a couple years.

    @JasonCuddles a MTG reference cool!

  • Dude, you just necro'd your own thread.

  • And THIS, my dear friends, is why I love all of you!!!

  • My necro thread is already garnering more attention than when it was first created, proving once again that zombies are more interesting than people

  • Lol. I love playing Necromancer in Diablo IV

  • Klaatu barada ncoughcougho!

  • This thread is starting to become more relevant.

  • How did I know that was going to be @pmvines post. He’s made zombie adverse comments before. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

    At njght they feed

  • I'm dead. πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€

  • Lmao alas it’s been resurrected.

  • 2016 seems to be popular

  • Is this... reverse psychology? 😏

    If so... you're doing a great job there! :)

    Personally, I'm more for resurrecting old posts when possible, because for one people can get to see the thoughts of many others who might not get the chance to voice their opinions be it the same or new. Plus it's less repetitive and can make it somewhat more concise.

  • @stormydaycuddle its because zombies don’t poop, I reckon

    @Lovelight I started the thread a while back as a response to a couple of folks who made it their point to spam the forums by resurrecting so many years old threads that it literally buried all the newer ones . And none of them had anything new or worthwhile added when they posted on them , just something like "lol", or "what she said ", or "wow that's awesome " as they tag someone who deleted their account 6 years earlier. Which did lead to forum timeouts for them because they were trolling by spamming the forums.

    So adding something new or useful to an old thread is great. Of course there are likely more recent ones to do that with but there's no law against digging up a 8 year old thread about what to wear when cuddling as opposed to a 1 year old one so folks can obviously do as they wish. And I don't mind it myself, just think it's silly if it's a mundane topic or something that has loads of threads already on the same topic and also silly to not add anything of value to it .

    For example, there are already dozens upon dozens of boner threads and ones about people not responding to their messages. Why dig one up from 2018 and post "agreed "? Silliness

    What is the deal with the old threads coming back today? Pretty annoying! Harder to find the threads I actually follow!

  • @pmvines

    Oh wow, I wasn't aware of the spamming. I must've not seen that or it was a time I was away. Thanks for explaining and I definitely agree with you on that. :)

  • @natickben Ah damn, I can see it leading to that challenge. Though you can also star threads you want to respond to and access them like that. Or use the search feature on Google to find them, I'm not sure if the site has a built-in forum search. Though when I ocassionally want to find an old post for some reason I Google it by searching "topic name cuddle comfort" and that would often return the relevant posts. I hope that helps. :)

  • @Charlie_Bear ~ "movies/shoes/games" it took me a sec to realize you meant 'shows' and was over here like, 'WTH are Living Dead Zombie shoes?' πŸ˜…

    @sunnysideup πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
    @natickben indeed.
    @pmvines You’re getting xlax and a roll of tp for your birthday
    @Lovelight Id be totally on board if it was still relevant.

    Also, what did 2016 do to anyone else? (Don’t answer that) πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  • @natickben yeah, because the new ones make it so much easier

    @pmvines yep

  • @quixotic_life
    Haha I definitely would have meant shows πŸ˜…

    As for the necro threads, if a bunch start resurfacing flag em and I will sink them so they don’t clog up the forums.
