I save my positive energy for people who actually deserve it, why waste it on people who show so little empathy toward women and professional cuddler's actual real-life concerns?

The people who actually know me are the only people who can speak for my character.

    From the first page, @CarlosHunt.

Speaking from my experience, a great number of men grew up being deprived of touching, and not knowing what it is like to cuddle with someone. The result of that kind of physical closeness shoots out a lot of the neuro chemical dopamine. Which is also the neuro chemical that is released during sex and sexual gratification. This is one chemical responsible for arousal, along with testosterone, that is not released after sex, such as oxytocin, or during sex like phenylethylamine.

Add in that cuddling increases bloodflow, and you have an equation: Dopamine + bloodflow = erecting. Even when a man is not aroused.

The comparison I would make is to having an adrenaline rush. When people find themselves in situations where adrenaline is needed, they usually find themselves shaking, anxious, and high strung. That is just a result of the neuro drug. However, through repeated exposure, breathing techniques and mental discipline people are able to control their bodies when flooded with adrenaline. Look at "combat tactical breathing", and "mental preparation for combat" if interested.

This is the same with dopamine. Repeated exposure to the chemical can allow someone to know what is happening. Mental discipline and familiarity are what allows men to keep their bodies under control while still enjoying the emotional advantage.

While an erection is natural, especially for those who are deprived of touching, humping is not excusable.

I would recommend having the "erection talk" with new clients if their lack of karma, or comments in their karma concerns the professional. Professionals should be comfortable in their own right, from my point of view.
  • This is cuddling not combat-
  • Throwback Thursday. Lolol I don't believe this 6-year old post has aged well. Highly doubt it would be treated so flippantly today. Which is a VERY good thing!
Warning: It's kind of difficult to follow, since many posts have the moniker replaced with "Unknown (deleted user.)"

@AllAboutSoul ~ For sure one of my fave resurrected (😉) threads...

I really like the explanation given by @sudoCuddle as well as seeing all the now banned people who couldn't stop with all their rediculous obstinance.

    Edit ~ For sure though...
One big difference, is there's no way that title would be allowed to stand today. People would be throwing their report flags all over it and it would likely get locked.

  • @quixotic_life
This is a crude thread, starting with the title.. so disrespectful and I am truly glad to see some of the biggest jerks were eventually banned.
I wonder if the opinion that Pros precautionary stances shouldn't offend or disrespect their client has changed at all?

  • One big difference, is there's no way that title would be allowed to stand today

    Yet it does.

  • @BoomerSpooner yup, I wonder why... (not really, it's quite blatant.)

  • Opinions about The Pillow?

  • Perhaps I should have clarified...

Had someone started a thread with the same title. within the last few months , it would have been flagged and shut down, if for no other reason, than the use of the word "sexual" along with "Pros".

I'm just pointing out that people are way less tolerant of such things now than they were a few years ago.

  • wow, this thread was an absolute trip. It really highlights a wide range of issues(societal, communal, business, etc.) and even an insufficient level of appropriate communication on both sides. Necessary nuance is so rarely sufficiently expressed especially with internet strangers. So much to unpack, but it gave me historical context on this site and I could really feel the professional's frustration. I hope they are doing well wherever their life took them.
