Gotcha @stormydaycuddle. Shew, these forum discussions get sooo intense. 🤣🤣🤣

Just to make sure my position is clear:

If you ask me if I agree with what @teddybear888 said about women exploiting men, I'd say no. It was a broad-sweeping remark that plays into the unfortunate stereotype that women are gold-diggers and men are poor helpless victims of female wileyness. Not good. I'm not suggesting that everyone needs to respect that statement.

I am saying that the question of "why should I pay someone for a mutual exchange of platonic affection" has been brought up on more than one occasion and I don't think it's wrong for those who've asked that question to do so. It's a question worth consideration and ultimately every person has to decide for themselves whether they feel it's a fair exchange in their situation.

  • Hey Im a woman who pays for cuddling. For women cuddlers. I'm a trans girl so I often feel very lonely, idk about how the cis women on here feel. I heard about professional cuddlers on a lonelyness group and found this website :)

  • @achetocuddle I just love this... Thank you for being such a beautiful part of this community.

Everyone just has to try to know themselves, determine what they want and in what order and then operate from there.

@lee2023 Welcome to the site. 😊 I know you've been here since January but I still feel like its reasonable to say welcome!!

There has been a LOT of stuff going on here. WOW! I haven't seen you comment since you originally posted this thread and maybe we could get back to what you were asking instead of derailing it into a million directions.

@lee2023 It seems like there might be some confusion and speculation, but since you weren't asking the question "How well would I do if I decided to become a Male Pro?" I'm going to attempt to actually answer the question you WERE asking. You said...

Is it only men who pay for cuddling or do women pay as well

    DO WOMEN PAY FOR CUDDLING?

    ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY

As a female enthusiast, I have found and enjoyed paying a professional for cuddling whether they are male/female/gender-fluid/non-binary because it is very different than an enthusiast to enthusiast cuddle.

I am not the only one.

There are multiple reasons why a woman would hire a pro, but suffice it to say it does happen. Not as frequently as men for multiple reasons (like women sometimes get hugs from their women friends but men don't as often) and there are HUNDREDS of threads about this topic, but the basic answer from my WOMANLY perspective, is yes they do. 😊

  • @oliviamay as a female enthusiast, I personally only cuddle men, but I don’t think it matters who you cuddle with as long as you respect those around you, you should be fine.

  • @pmvines Life is not all black and white. There are streaks of brown.

  • --@achetocuddle I loved all your comments! They are all very self aware, while still being kind and respectful....thank you!

    --@Midas45 ....Where to start? 🤔

--As I understand it by your wording, are you are saying that if someone disagrees with another's opinions (or comments), they should not say so? Or if they disagree, that means they are dismissing it or even attacking the person who wrote it? The original comment by @pmvines wasn't dismissive at all, and only disagreed, so the comment below wasn't even a valid argument when you posted it.

You may disapprove of how such a view is expressed, but to dismiss it or the one who put it forth wholesale runs dangerously close to causing more issues than it solves.

--Next, please explain what you meant by:

...wholesale runs dangerously close to causing more issues than it solves.

--It's not clear in any way what you meant by that and what exactly does the term "wholesale" refer to? 🧐
It's a very vague statement that doesn't really mean anything in truth....and just serves to troll others since no one really knows what you mean by it so they don't know exactly how to respond.

-- Then you insist that everyone should respect an opinion shared? But also do not at all show that same respect in your comments. Why?
Because the comments by @pmvines are entirely speaking about the opinion shared (yes, minus the incels word) and how he disagreed with the insanely derogatory comment that @teddybear888 made. But you went on to be dismissive (in a worse way) than anyone was to that point!

--Lastly, it is not written anywhere that I've ever seen in my whole life that others are supposed to respect other people's opinions....and especially such horrible and derogatory opinions like @teddybear888 made!! Making up random rules of life doesn't work and is basically nonsense. It's nonsense in the way your spoke about "respecting opinions" and it's nonsense regarding respecting that particular opinion.
    It's not a real thing

@RedFox16 Perfect. I'd add that respecting someone's humanity is far different than respecting an inhumane comment.

But, alas this is starting to seem more like 'bend the knee' BS rather than even hippie dippy intolerance alone. I must admit between us the energy being thrown in my direction to accept this hate is flattering.
Loved the way you said your comment.

  • @PrettyLuv ofc. I'm not like some ...other people in this thread

  • @oliviamay its nice to know you aren’t 🤗

  • edited November 2023

Eh, nm about this comment. Meaning the one I deleted here.

  • edited November 2023

@KingsportCuddle I actually think your explanation about why some pay for cuddles and some don't, was extremely well thought out and worded! And super helpful to the thread! Thank you.

And holy cow! @PrettyLuv Are you ok? Yikes. Did @stormydaycuddle run over your pet or something? Cuz your arguments about her comments actually don't make sense and are fairly obviously just attempts to twist her words and pick fights. Even if someone uses a wrong word here and there, it's usually extremely obvious what was meant due to context clues. Picking one or 2 words out of paragraphs shows that you're trying really hard to "cherry pick" information. (It's a term used in writing to mean when some does exactly what you're doing).

Next, the comparisons you used to compare respecting someones opinion and reporters, etc are not true and reasonable comparisons. Yeesh.

Also, the made up rule that we must respect others opinions ....is just that....made up. That's not a thing. At all. Anywhere in life. I said the same in my comment above. It's a false rule that @Midas45 made up.....and I guess you fell for. So I'm sorry he tricked you like that and made you comment untrue things. 😔 it's hard when you get duped like that and it makes you appear to not know what you're talking about....I'm sorry for you.

As well, labeling the comments made by him as critical thinking, is also not true and would not be considered critical thinking by anyone smart enough to know what that is. (Again, I'm sorry you were tricked by him ...I bet that stings) Not only did @Midas45 make up false societal rules, but he used vague and nonsensical terms like "wholesale" to refer to things that were also vague 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ And what the heck is he even referring to with that? 😣
And please explain how you consider @Joshua_72's comment as critical thinking?🤨

    Last, just knock it off.....your comments are just serving to make you appear vindictive and picking fights and obviously twisting her words and meanings;

I get this little feeling I’m being summoned here. I’ll oblige…for now.

  • So far in my experience, I've only had male clients! I'd love it if there were a bit more diversity though

  • edited November 2023

And yes @stormydaycuddle it's more like respecting a person's humanity....not every random word or opinion that falls out of their mouth. And definitely @teddybear888 did NOT in anyway respect anyone's humanity in his comment .

  • I'm jumping out of this conversation but I wanted to add the translation of my earlier comment since it wasn't fully understood.

Convoluted attempts to turn prejudice into victimhood. The soapboxes are structurally unsound people. When you claim to be accepting then undermine yourself in the same sentence. That’s living in a glass house and seeing brick.

The AI assessment of the comment:

"Convoluted attempts to turn prejudice into victimhood" implies that some individuals or groups twist their prejudiced beliefs or actions, portraying themselves as victims instead of acknowledging their prejudice.
"The soapboxes are structurally unsound" metaphorically suggests that the platforms or positions from which people express these views are flawed or weak.
"When you claim to be accepting then undermine yourself in the same sentence" points out the inconsistency or hypocrisy in someone’s claim to be tolerant while simultaneously expressing intolerant views.
"Living in a glass house and seeing brick" is a twist on the saying "people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones," suggesting self-deception or a lack of self-awareness. Here, it means that people are unable or unwilling to see the fragility of their own position (glass house) and instead perceive it as solid and unassailable (brick).

@RedFox16 Ty, and have an awesome rest of your weekend.

  • @RedFox16
Sorry, but I’m not the one being duped here. You tried to be fair in the bimodal thread and then you lost it. Tried to be fair here too - and then you lost it again. Think about who you were defending in both threads when you lost your cause. Maybe you’ll figure out who’s doing the duping then.

And for someone so conscientious of inflammatory remarks there’s quite the selection of them to choose from in your comment to me here.

  • edited November 2023

Well, @PrettyLuv I actually am conscientious of inflammatory remarks....that's the exact reason I wrote what I wrote above. Because, for the reasons specified, those were in fact very inflammatory remarks. As well as untrue.

If you really want to reply to what I wrote....you should do that instead of making new accusations....before you've defended your previous untrue accusations. Please, I am one of those critical thinkers you love so much and always willing to be proved wrong if I am, wrong.

Edited to add: I have to thank you, however for the compliment. Truly, not sarcastic at all. I appreciate you took space to at least say that in the start.

  • @PrettyLuv @stormydaycuddle @RedFox16

Let's end it here, please. Either air it out in dms or don't engage at all.

  • edited November 2023

removed off topic question regarding A.I.

  • Redfox16 makes a good point and I agree but I have had a few women on here be racist and prejudiced and hide behind excuses so they get away with it. I don't agree with this site picking and choosing who to ban or report and review needs to be a fair system and its not. I was told once before because I didn't agree I was banned thats not fair practice.

  • [Deleted User]Midas45 (deleted user)

@RedFox16 If you are actually interested in an explanation, Shake explained how to request it.

  • edited November 2023

Thank you @Midas45 I appreciate that! And I appreciate your reply 😊 I think I might just prefer if you left it here tho...so everyone else can understand as well? Especially since those first comments were in reply to others and not me.

If not, I get it too...no worries 😉 And I think Shakes directives were for us 3 gals....I'm sure you're more than allowed to post your explanation here.

  • @timeagaim what was your name when you were on the site before?

  • @timeagaim - If you don't successfully appeal your ban, making a new account will just get you banned again.

  • I would just like to say before this thread is shut down that I pooped a fairly significant amount this morning and if I concentrate on it real hard , I just might poops again

  • In general, women are capable of being happy without the affection or acceptance of a man in their lives. They can get it from their children, other women (friends), coworkers, etc.
Most men can not replace the closeness to a woman with anything else.
And yes I know cuddling is platonic and not the same as affection, but no one can deny cuddling is a way of making someone feel accepted, and cared for.

  • [Deleted User]natickben (deleted user)

Yes, @pmvines but did you pay for the companionship of the poops?

  • @natickben I paid for the food that makes the poops so in essence, yes ! Yes i did !

  • I stand by my earlier comment that inflammatory, derogatory name calling is never helpful or appropriate in these threads, even when it is in response to a comment someone disagrees with.

I am a strong believer in the idea that, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. — Martin Luther King, Jr.

I believe anyone who wants to call me a “pseudo intellectual” or other names for these beliefs just further proves my point.

The same goes for the thread I started the other day trying to get both sides of a frequently recurring controversy to see things from the other side’s perspective. I openly advocate the idea Stephen Covey espoused in 1989, that people should, “seek first to understand, then to be understood.”

As an online community, each of us can try to elevate the tone on these threads by modeling civility and grown up behavior, or we can let the threads continue to degenerate into childish name calling and “poops jokes”.

I’ve made my decision about how I will behave.

  • Agreed @JohnR1972 & @Midas45
    Respect begets respect.

  • @CuddleDuncan
    @achetocuddle

Both of you say most men who try to be Pros aren't suited for it. Can you elaborate on that please?
