I tried to reach cuddlers, they either don't response or they response very late. It's difficult to commit time.
Since your profile isn't filled out, you will probably not get a response. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I don't get many responses when I initiate with enthusiasts as well. Don't take it personally though. Women on this site want to feel safe and secure and a lot of bad faith actors ruin it for the rest of us. I definitely have privacy concerns with tying this site to my real identity and that stifles a lot of interactions but I am okay with that because my safety is also a concern.
Try adding some of your hobbies and what you are looking for. A personal picture on your profile goes a long way but I also understand the desire for privacy.
@lesmis33 Said the person with a pic of a monkey native to Japan. Totally teasing you. Your advice is correct and I don't blame you for thinking of your safety so much. That's what we all should do. My safety is my first priority and I turn down some potentially good cuddles to be certain I'm safe. @mantra64 Many people do not want to cuddle a married person, even tho it will be non-romantic and platonic (at least it should be.) Professionals are less likely to mind if you are married, but many of them feel the same way. Combine that with not enough info on your profile and you are finished before you have started. Best wishes, especially if you are upfront with your spouse.
@achetocuddle That monkey is actually a reflection of my very strong desire to soak in a hot spring during a snow storm. In that sense, it is an accurate picture of me while not being an actual picture of me =P
@lesmis33 Lol, It makes a good impression on me when someone uses a pic that not everyone could identify. Frankly I can't remember the name of the monkey, lol. The people that get to experience a hot spring while it snows are lucky, tho I've never thought about doing that before. @mantra64 A lot of people find it is not easy to find a cuddle. It's more of a process.
@lesmis33 have you seen “Moving Art”? It’s a background noise/video photography series. They have an entire episode of those guys skinny dipping.😝
Also, I’ve done the hot tub snow storm thing before 1x in Aspen and while fun while you’re in the tub you really start to wonder about you’re sanity when you’re running back to the lodge.
@mantra64 Send a polite and interesting (ie, original) message. Then patiently wait, but don't expect a reply. A week or two later, send a brief and polite follow-up, but then that's it. Move on.
@lesmis33
Since your profile isn't filled out, you will probably not get a response.
Even a profile that is filled out does not guarantee a response.
I checked to see the last time the person was on the site. As well if they even checked your profile. If they checked your profile and don’t reply, I would say move on. If they have not checked your profile, then send a second message and then move on if nothing. Make sure they’ve actually been on this site in a while also.
@mantra64 Indeed, when we’re they last online? Perhaps they are not active users

Lol! 😄 You are better (and perhaps more hopeful) then Me. I love it!😍
I don't even bother with a follow-up message, I first check to see when was the last time said cuddler was active online...???🤔 If the length of absent time is longer then 4 to 6 days then I won't bother sending a message to them. 😌 If not, I'll send a short polite introduction that mentions (usually) mentions something in their profile (if it's a blank profile, I don't bother with messaging😑) and if they choose not to respond back (yes, no responses from other Enthusiasts does happen A LOT to me as well, but again NO RESPONSE IS A RESPONSE😉) then that's THE RESPONSE they sent to me and that's the response that I shall accept. 😁😁😁
Even a profile that is filled out does not guarantee a response. @TxTom
THIS, is also true! ^^^😁
@TxTom The followup is a nice touch . I usually do that in the jobhunt process. Im guessing it's not rude, but moreso a gentle reminder. I tend to sway on the side of caution bc I don't like double texting, but I think it's actually fairly polite if not mildly bold and a good way to increase successful responses.
It doesn't hurt that you look like Greg Kinnear, even tho you're blob fishing in your avatar.
I can't remember the name of the monkey, lol.
@achetocuddle You might get a chuckle out of this one. They are, in fact, aptly named Snow Monkeys! Academically speaking, they are colloquially known as a Japanese Macaque. A fun fact I just learned, did you know there is a documented case of a female Snow Monkey leader? I am now reading the saga of The Monkey Queen. So neat! https://www.livescience.com/japanese-macaque-queen-could-lose-crown
have you seen “Moving Art”? It’s a background noise/video photography series. They have an entire episode of those guys skinny dipping.😝
@stormydaycuddle I have not! Is it a nature documentary? I do love those especially if they feature the Snow Monkeys relaxing in a hot spring. I am so in to just pine vicariously lol. Is it this? https://movingart.com/homepage/
@stormydaycuddle Aspen! Nice! I haven't been there in a minute. Me and the lads once rented a lodge near some small lake town that freezes over and is a pleasant low level ski/ice skating resort. It had a hot tub outside and we were fortunate enough to have it snow during our stay. My buddies and I sat in that pit of steamy, bubbling water for like 3 hours drinking whisky and just relaxing as the snow softly fell on us. My hair kept freezing and it was so amusing feeling my crystalized and dreaded hair. Getting out was definitely an experience lol, but luckily I only had an approximate 20 feet to clear. I just dunked my head in the jacuzzi and did that awkward "sprint" where you sprightly waddle out of fear you might slip due to the deafening presence of a friction reducing and rapidly solidifying substance coating your entire body. Minimal efforts are done to even correct bunched up swimwear since transitioning to a more temperate environment is a paramount if not an exclusive goal. That time of three and some odd hours is one of my fondest memories.
I tried to reach cuddlers
@mantra64 Hey, all you can do is try...🤷♀️
As far as replies go for enthusiasts and pros alike I have been lucky with only 1 who never responded at all. I think everyone has responded in 24 hours. Set search parameters for active within last week, only message someone who has a bio, and fill out some bio for yourself. No one liners either. “Hey babe, wanna cuddle?” probably doesn’t generate interest.
Last count there are over 400,000 profiles on CC. 80% of which are guys. Of the rest, most are female pros. If you are looking for an enthusiast rather than a pro then keep in mind that the demographics are such that many of those enthusiasts have so many options, and so much attention that its easy for your message to be lost in the melee.
Check the “last online” status. If it’s been a month or more, most likely they won’t reply (abandon profile, currently busy with something else, etc.).
I would also go with “week” too as an indicator of most likely not replying, but not as bad as the “month “ one.
I usually get a response within a few seconds
.
My only responses (from non-professionals) have almost exclusively been from women who ended up getting banned. Boy, can I pick 'em.
I'm with @Katota on the double texting. I'd avoid it personally. When i dont hear from people i tend to take it as a response itself.
With double texters i'd find it pressurising and if there is any hint of awareness of when i was last online would be additional pressure. It would be recieved differently in a job context. Although others seem to have had luck with double texting.
@TxTom I agree with sending a 2nd message a week or two later. It's not aggressive or too much. For me, it shows that he is willing to make a little effort and he didn't just send the same opening line to everyone and then forget about me entirely.
