Best Sources of Vitamin i?

I've been told that banana splits and root beer floats are both excellent sources of vitamin i.

Most drug stores I visit don't carry those things, but some might sell cartons of vitamin i in its pure form in one-pint containers. Breyers sells a high-quality product, I'm told.

I'm also interested in the best delivery method. Taking it by mouth seems simplest, but I know many babies seem to enjoy administering it transdermally.

My health is important to me so I've come to the Internet for advice about this.

What?! "Vitamin I" is slang for ibruprofen. Which is a molecule that was created in a laboratory in the 1960s.

Every chemist, pharmacy and drug store in the world carries ibruprofen. It does not exist in any plants or foods. It's fine for older children but it's unsafe to take during pregnancy and therefore is quite possibly unsafe for babies. I wouldn't risk giving it to a baby except on the specific instructions of a doctor.

Unless there is another Vitamin I I don't know about.

My health is important to me so I've come to the Internet for advice about this.

Never, ever, ever rely on advice from the internet about your health. Ever. No exceptions. The internet is a great place to learn stuff, and can be incredibly useful in providing background information, hearing about other peoples' experiences, and directing you to the right place to get advice, but it can't provide advice for a specific person. That's ... not how the internet works. (Unless you're using the internet to have a consultation with a doctor or other health professional.)

  • It's my term for ice cream. ๐Ÿคช I know, I'm a bit strange. Going to the Internet for ice cream advice. ๐Ÿ˜

  • I didn't have much luck on YouTube for DIY dentistry or eye surgery either.

  • Oh my goodness @JoyfulHeart ~ You're so silly!!

Yeah, you got me. Fair enough.

  • @quixotic_life I may be silly, but I'm not @sillysassy ๐Ÿ˜Ž

  • @CuddleDuncan Sorry, I didn't mean to alarm anyone. ๐Ÿ˜”

  • Oh, no worries. I was mildly alarmed for a second but I felt there must be something going on. with that post. And it was more than worth it for the laugh!

  • Transient mild alarm is an emotion that doesn't have many songs written about it. Any lyricists here who can remedy that?

  • Haha! @ joyful heart. My brain was so convinced u meant vitamin E. I was even about to look up vitamin I!!

What's your vitamin I of choice ? Haha

AWW @CuddleDuncan, you were giving full on dad mode in the most gentlest, firmwest way I've read in a while. That was kind!:)

  • @4cuddles I'm a big fan of Moose Tracks. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

My favorite place to get Vitamin I is from Cold Stone Creamery ๐Ÿ˜‹

  • @JoyfulHeart had to look it up. That's a whole lot of ice cream, I can be fuzzy bit sounds tasty.

  • Had to look up @CharlieBear's recommendation! Sounds dreamy tho think I'll also be overwhelmed with choices!

  • @4cuddles
Oh itโ€™s so good! I love their cake batter ice cream the most ๐Ÿ˜‹

  • We used to have Cold Stone Creamery near us, but now we don't. There's a similar non-chain place not too far away called Rolled Cold, though, and it's pretty good.

I have been all over and the best is:

    Morton Mooโ€™s in Ellsworth, ME

Unfortunately it is not a chain and located only in this small town but they even make their waffle cones from scratch.

  • Cake batter?! Omg don't. Hmm actually can't imagine how that tastes. Is it kind of Like cookie dough?

I've nearly finished a tub of celebrations by myself! :( No more a fan of Cadbury chocolate but something about the miniature chocolates is so moorish & addictive:(!

  • You can never go wrong with a root beer float for a vitamin I fix. The big question is though, what brand of root beer do you use for it? I either use Barqs or Mug.

  • Now I'm convinced everyone is just showing off now! Haha!

Ok.I'll be back with an obscure favoyr to make everyone drool with envy . I think. Hopefully it doesn't back fire. Already on a sugar high!!

Homemade rootbeer, no high fructose corn syrup. A & W's rootbeer tastes different, only had it once though. Never knew rootbeer related to this vitamin i or ibuprofen. I had never heard of vitamin i until now. I hope slang for vitamins or other meds isnt common place, it might really confuse people :/

  • @CharlieBear Cake batter ice cream does rule.

I could use a ice cream cake now...

  • Hanks Ice Cream, Main St near 610, Houston.

Blue Bell Creamery plant tour, Brenham, TX.

    I used to work at B-R as a teenagerโ€ฆ

  • Lately Iโ€™ve been getting my vitamins at DQ. Usually a dipped cone or banana split. I have found memories of getting bubblegum vitamin I when I was growing up.

  • My health is important to me so I've come to the Internet for advice about this.

I get all of my health advice online. I have not seen a doctor in 20 plus years. I have zero meds and I'm 69. I order and read my own blood tests online. I am about to read a book on aging by an MD that has 13,000 citations all of which are posted online. For people like me that are proactive, the internet is a godsend.
