@YiddishSqueeze Okay.
Even you paid for a cuddler once, as per your profile.
@YiddishSqueeze I’m not sure it’s luck. Lots of enthusiasts cuddle other enthusiasts and they choose from who is available to cuddle. Even as I get older, others are aging too. If it’s a guy that just wants to cuddle someone a lot younger, that’s fine, but that’s not the type of person I want to cuddle anyway.
If we went by Shane's logic, then there would be no need for women to charge fees. But you see Shane, women take advantage of men's needs to get some money off of us while they're at it. Nature of the beast. If it weren't for people like me and other me who pay for cuddles, this site wouldn't exist.
I mean. He’s not wrong…. Ideally, this would be the model… you charge a subscription fee, like $20 a month for EVERYONE to join this site. It would just be a community of cuddlers, and you message each other if interested to cuddle. A nice vast club of cuddlers who take it somewhat seriously bc they are paying every month. You get rid of the pros and the time wasters. Cuddle comfort still generates revenue. But it won’t happen bc the woman who make up to $200 sometimes an hour will never agree to to.

@YiddishSqueeze
Women can easily find someone to cuddle with. ......... women only choose the top 5% of the most handsome men
Neither of these statements is true.
Women have so much difficulty finding somebody to cuddle that at least half of the women who join this site as enthusiasts leave without finding a cuddle.
It is true that only a small proportion of men on Cuddle Comfort find women enthusiasts to cuddle with, but the women do not base their choice on looks. For proof you need look no further than me: I have cuddled with a number of women enthusisasts - some of whom have approached me first - and I'm not good looking by any standard.
If it weren't for people like me and other me who pay for cuddles, this site wouldn't exist.
This is also untrue. The site existed for some years as an enthusiast-only site before professionals were allowed.
The consensus in this thread so far is that there are few men cuddlers because women can find free cuddles easily. But I have never encountered any hard evidence for this and regard it as speculation. It is true that there are more suitable men than suitable women cuddlers (plus a population of unsuitable people, the majority of whom are men) but the lack of men professionals is not a logical consequence of that.
Cuddling a fellow enthusiast and cuddling a trained or experienced professional are wildly different experiences.
To think that most people don’t choose based on looks to some degree is to ignore human nature. Whether they mention it to you or not is a different story. If that were the case, what are all the pictures for
@ckmmm420 Different people have different things that draw them to others. What may be true for you may not be true for everyone else.
I'd rather spend time with a kind person than with a physically beautiful person, if I had to pick.
Yeah one side is largely here for the money (not all the women here are but it’s certainly a motivator) and the other are here for women. It works but it’s not some mutual thing in most cases, one person wouldn’t be there without cash
@ckmmm420 you make a point, but it’s not always about attractiveness. Sometimes, the picture just gives a certain vibe that helps people feel more connected. Women in particularl feel safer when a guy shares a picture of himself showing well groomed a decent smile, good posture, etc. sometimes people make a snap judgment on your picture to decide if you are the type of person they would enjoy hanging out with (nerd, athletic person, successful, put together, influencer/fashionista, etc)
@YiddishSqueeze I believe it’s true that on dating apps, the top 5 percent of guys get the majority of the hits, but CC works a bit differently than a dating app. Evidence: I have a rough time getting dates on dating apps, but I find it easier to schedule a cuddle.
@CuddleDuncan My view of it is that everyone has a different experience (some people have it easy, some people find no one, some have to be very patient), but if you could somehow average all male experiences and all female experiences on this site, I think we would find that it isn’t easy for either gender. It requires a lot of patience, luck, working on your profile and yourself, and a keen sixth sense, or failing that, a solid safety checklist. However it seems to be easier to find a cuddle partner for women - how much easier I can’t say, probably not much, but my reasoning is this: In addition to the female cuddlers that start off as enthusiasts that have been inspired to go pro due to the number of cuddle requests they get, it’s easier to work with 10 messages in your inbox rather than 0 messages, though women receive a lot of low quality messages (hey wanna cuddle) and messages that are TOS breaking, so again it’s not easy for any gender to find a decent cuddle partner. But there is atleast a chance that 1 of those 10 messages would make a decent cuddle buddy, as opposed to 0 chance from 0 messages. Of course, some of the male cuddling difficulty is self made because many of us refuse to cuddle other men - women seem less particular about the gender of their cuddle buddy
@stormydaycuddle I may go pro now.
@ScroogeMcducky I wish you the best of luck with that endeavor. 😂 🤗
huge market leaning towards wanting female cuddlers to be frank. think about how touch deprived most people are and the higher numbers already leaning towards men who are more challenged to find touch from a woman when they are straight and preferring cuddling with someone of the opposite gender
@stormydaycuddle you offered to pay and he hiked his price? Wow showed his true colors I guess.
@CharlieBear I wish it was only a story but yep.
It's also probably because no woman is going to pay money to cuddle with a guy..🤣
Can we just sticky one big mega thread for incel content? Then maybe a sticky poops thread for me to go to whenever I really want to say naughty things to all the stupid people of the world but instead I simply talk about my poops because that won't get me In trouble here? Pretty please ?
I pooped today
Haha! There's always someone who needs to come on these threads to do some good old fashioned gender bashing. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ Thank you @netrunner for putting a halt to that, seemed like he was about to go full-tilt....and a few others would absolutely follow.🤷🏻♀️
As for finding cuddles....yes, is easier for women, generally speaking. However, the real issue is the quantity of cuddle partners we can find....versus the quality. And no, quality doesn't refer to appearance. 😐 Quality refers to those who genuinely want cuddles vs those who say they want to cuddle, but their intentions are not simply cuddling.
Deep down, we all understand the reasons for these dynamics....can we stop making these threads that only end up in chaos?
Maybe go with the poop threads idea instead 😂
My theory as to why there are fewer male pros than female pros is pretty obvious. Men do not live as long as women.
@lesmis33 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@CuddleHugs01234 I'm sure you're a fantastic cuddle! That guy was using dating protocol in the place of platonic cuddling (yes, men have to be handsome, chiseled millionaires to get cuddles... lol). Actually, I don't even agree with his comment about some universal taste in women. That's just empty manosphere, red pill, Andrew Tate bs. Cheers!
@CuddlykittenPup Actually I don't think that is fully true. I believe there was one even on this site who said she paid to cuddle with a male pro.
However, it is a rare thing. I personally wont pay to cuddle anyone and not just because I happen to be a pro on this site. I just also think it is harder for males more than females to get cuddles or even hugs in general. Like my girlfriends and I would hug each other all the time and even hug our male friends. It is like a way we greet each other so such platonic touch comes naturally. We might view it as offensive even if someone pushes us away unless they discussed it first about their comfort levels. But we do it do express that we are glad to see them and that they exist in our lives so yeah if they reject we normally get offended because they don't feel the same appreciation of us. Our male friends though would like never hug otherwise especially if it's a guy since hugging isn't something men are usually raised to do. So it is just how it is in this sort of thing so I am not surprised there are more female pros than male pros.
@Amortentia Yeah, what you say is true of my case. I hardly, if ever hug my male friends. I usually don’t volunteer to hug my female friends either but they often volunteer to hug me.
@CuddlykittenPup
It's also probably because no woman is going to pay money to cuddle with a guy.
Actually, this isn't the case. There have been several women post on this forum that they wanted to hire a professional man cuddler but were unable to find one. I have met in person two women who explicitly stated that they would have paid me to cuddle, had I been a professional. Others have said so to me in PMs.
The demand is small, but it very clearly exists. And the ones I've mentioned are just the ones who have found Cuddle Comfort and engaged with the community. How many others are there out there who don't even know the cuddlesphere exists?
@YiddishSqueeze posted: "women only choose the top 5% of the most handsome men"
Out in the wild, perhaps, though those kinds of women sound shallow and not the type you would want to be around, anyway. Here on this site, the point is supposed to be cuddling for comfort, not sexiness. Those choosing cuddle friends based on looks are not here for the right, platonic reasons.
@YiddishSqueeze posted: "As long as men make money ... they can still get cuddles."
Wow, I guess the shallow type are the ones you want to be around... 😐 My mistake...
@JayB5619 posted: "I've barely even gotten any response from the pro cuddling ladies let alone the non pros plus it doesn't help that I'm an average looking dude"
Lack of responses is unfortunately common, as men greatly outnumber women here, and thus womens' inboxes are often slammed. Your looks should not affect your replies...and if they do, as I mentioned above, it's only filtering out shallow people, so all the better!
As for you in particular not getting responses, may I offer some potential reasons that have nothing to do with looks? One, you only joined the site less than two weeks ago, and these things take time.
Two, your profile only has one sentence; that's very little to draw people in. Writing more about yourself would be very beneficial. 😊
Three, you're married; very few married men on this site have their wives' consent to be here, so it's possible that cuddlers aren't responding because they (perhaps wrongly) assume you are here behind your wife's back and they don't want to compromise ethics/risk drama. (Not saying that last one is the case; but if it isn't, you may consider adding to your profile that your wife knows of and supports you being on the site. I do this regarding my boyfriend, to put men at ease that they aren't gonna face a beat-down. 😄) Your preferred age range also comes across as one who might be seeking a date moreso than just a friendly cuddle with a kind soul.
Just as an FYI, most Pro's will ask you for a face picture before booking...this has nothing to do with attractiveness, and everything to do with safety. 😊
@Midnight01 Your idea of a pay wall doesn't exist because the site makes more money this way, not because female Pro's designed the system.
@sunnysideup posted: "there is atleast a chance that 1 of those 10 messages would make a decent cuddle buddy, as opposed to 0 chance from 0 messages."
Absolutely. While women may have a tough time finding a cuddler who meets their standards (safe, platonic, good communication, etc.), they do not have a tough time finding cuddlers, whatsoever.

@CuddleDuncan - I have seen women on the forum say that would hire a male pro but I wonder how many have actually done so.
@JayB5619 I heavily added onto my post above, just FYI. 😊
