We are a family of friends, lovers, acquaintances and strangers. And family is there when they are needed the most. It’s an honor and a privilege to be present in this community; a community that has the heart of a lion and the softness of a panda!

Who can you share kindness with today in a selfless manor? They may need it more than you realize!

    In a world that has basically gone quite crazy, the very idea of someone taking the time to focus all of his/her attention on me and my issues... seeing, hearing, and acknowledging me, as a human being, with no further expectation... makes me know that this is true.. And, as I am known to do, I am filled with a joyful willingness to do the same for him/her! :)

    I held a friend, once, while she remembered her mom... I was deeply, deeply honored to hold that space for her. If we make a point of remembering that we are each walking around with ragged, ancient wounds, we'll remember that we ALL sometimes need a little extra care.

    That is so beautiful @Imajen1 !

    I once had a virtual session with someone in another country. We’d talked and somehow gotten on the topic of books and I’d shared with them how at the time I was volunteering at the local library to read to the kids and that I took it very seriously, practicing different voices for different characters and even making props before hand.

    He was so enchanted by it that he’d requested that at our next session I read him a book his mom used to read to him as a child, and had even sent said book to my POBox.

    To this day that session has been with me in my heart. The way he allowed himself to be vulnerable and fully give into his grief. It was beautiful and tragic and healing and I was honored that he’d let me be a part of that.

    @VaniRae31 ~ THANK YOU FOR SHARING THAT!!! Did it not swell your entire soul with an almost "holy hush" that this human being trusted you with that level of vulnerability??? Beautiful. Right. I was both honored AND humbled that my friend felt safe with me, too :)

    @SunsetSnuggles just shamelessly strummed the strings of my deepest heart, too, with this quote! That captures the spirit of what I am working toward, on my own journey toward healing..
