Serial Experiments Lain is a great surreal cyberpunk anime. I can’t recommend it enough, especially if you’re a fan of the original Ghost In The Shell movie.

Starting on this series now. The plot of the first episode starts off with a guy getting hit by a truck then reincarnating on another world filled with magical spells and monsters. He starts off again as a baby and gets older as the series progresses gradually learning how to do things such as use magic. He embarks on an adventure just like in video games.
I just started this series. It seems to be about a girl who is obsessed with cosplaying...dressing up as her favorite anime/manga character.

@Mike403 I recently started that one as well. Was intrigued by the manga I saw at my local library, so I checked out the first three volumes and finished those. Saw a few of the first episodes of the anime soon after.

Prison School is one of the most hilarious shows I've ever seen.
Five boys get enrolled into a former girls-only school. They get caught being a peeping tom at the girls changing room and the rest of the series are the girls delivering justice of their own.
I just entered the world of anime. So far Demon Slayer is my all time favorite Tried Deathnote but it lost me after Misa got a book. Started Attack on Titans and so far I’m a fan. That show does have a lot of monologues. I had one piece playing non stop at one point. Love that show. Love Monkey. Now I’m watching My Hero Academia! It’s currently my second favorite. And the only manga I can get into was/is Berserk. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

Wolf’s Rain is my absolute favorite. Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell are tied for second. @ElijahFrisbie Ghost in the Shell and Cowboy Bebop are my all time faves so thats pretty high praise for Wolf's Rain, I'll definitely have to check it out!
I don't think it's been mentioned yet but Legend of the Galactic Heroes is pretty good for epic space battles.

For Black Lagoon, I enjoyed the neo nazi arc and the arc with Masahiro Takenaka, a former member of the Japanese red army, fighting with the Islamists in the episodes "Lock'n Load Revolution" and "Guerrillas in the Jungle". My favourite scene is when Takenaka interrogates Rokuro and Rokuro questions Takenaka on why he still fights for a lost cause. Takenaka reasons he still fights to validate his past sacrifices. The arc with the Romanian twins who were abandoned and raised in Ceauscescu's orphanage system is sad. I also liked the arc with Hotel Moscow and the Washimine Group.
