I have Hulu, Disney+, and Amazon Prime. I recently got rid of Netflix and am seriously considering getting rid of Prime since I just got a letter that they’re not only raising their prices but will now have commercials unless you upgrade. And since two-day delivery is dodgy at best it just isn’t seeming all that worth it any longer.
Wouldn’t it be ironic if we all just switched back to regular cable after all this time?
@MissAdventurous I’ve been contemplating Shudder! But I hate watching scary movies alone so always end up waiting for my friend to come over to watch with me lol.
@RedFox16 and @CompassCuddles I also love my Spotify. Currently on season 16 of the NoSleep Podcasts.
Anime (via Crunchyroll) is one of the greatest things I've ever discovered. I can literally pick any show at random and become so engrossed in the story that I can't turn it off. Everything else (Netflix, Hulu, Disney, etc...) has been a hit or miss.
For music Spotify? it is by far the best music streaming ever, I haven't used itunes in years because of it. for movies?? lately am kind of going back to Netflix believe it or not. there seems to be the most I watch on there. but Max and Amazon Prime are also good. I pretty much only use Disney+ for Star Wars.
I also LOVE Audible. I have be able to read so many books through audio I never would have had the time to if I read them physically (which I still love when I have the time).
YouTube?? I may have briefly used Pluto TV. However, I've been using Tubi, and Plex for the most time for movies sometimes. Usually Tubi between the two, though sometimes Plex, or whenever else if there's a specific movie I want to watch and can't find it on or the others.
For audio books I've recently started using the city's library app.
Paramount+
(Disclaimer I am an employee and stockholder of Paramount Global, so…)
My urologist always makes sure my stream is mighty and strong.
HBO Max
An Amazon Fire tablet and a mount. It looks funny but now I can watch shows while laying down.
