Nah, I don’t tip monetarily. Pros rates are already high enough. I have given presents; ie clothes or chocolates before. And have shared a bottle of wine and hors d’oeuvres once or twice, free of charge of course.
“What is a decent amount to tip a pro cuddler?” Anything above the agreed upon amount. Tips, like bonuses, are not to be expected. Even $1.00 is fine. They chose their own hourly price.
I should add that, at this point, I believe the main consideration of most professional cuddlers is not receiving tips, but rather maintaining and expanding their clientele. So yes, I agree that, although pros with an already-large clientele certainly enjoy more leeway than those that don't, most professional cuddlers simply cannot afford to penalize clients for lack of tipping.
In particular, professional cuddlers, for the most part, do not have the market power to show up less enthusiastic for a 2nd-time client than the first time, as a penalty for lack of tipping, and still remain profitable. Because if any given pro behaved in such a way, the clients would pick up on it and simply shop around for said pro's competitors. This is the case because tipping is, as of now, not the norm among cuddle clients.
This does not, however, mean no enthusiasm disparity exists at all between attitude toward tipping and non-tipping clients.
The question is, are the clients aware of such a disparity? If the disparity is structured in such a way that the clients do not pick up on it, the disparity may yet exist.
While pros are incentivized to treat all 2nd-time clients at least as well as they did for the initial session, it is quite plausible to treat tipping 2nd-time clients even better than non-tipping 2nd-time clients. Clients don't talk much amongst themselves. As long as they're not getting any worse service than they did the 1st time, they won't pick up on the fact that they are being treated differentially.
Unfortunately, this is just human nature. Humans tend to respond to acts of kindness that are above and beyond what is expected (e.g. tipping) with greater enthusiasm. So, it's not so much that non-tipping clients receive bad service. They still receive good service. It's more like, tipping clients very well might receive extra enthusiastic service.
On a side note, I think most of us would agree that in a perfect world, cuddles for money simply would not be a thing. But, we don't live in a perfect world. Unfortunately, we live in a capitalist society, in which anything and everything that can be monetized will be monetized.
I’m happy we live in a capitalist world. Some people wouldn’t get cuddles if not for pros. Some could not get massages if not paid for. Haircuts, self defense classes, cooking lessons. People don’t work for free. I’m glad we don’t work for free. I know my regular cuddlers are happy to see me regardless of tipping because I’m a good client and a nice guy who has good conversations and treats them nice, makes them laugh. It certainly doesn’t hurt if I tip them but they wouldn’t treat me any less. But since I enjoy their service and they have made my day or evening so much better I tip them. What’s a few dollars not sure why it’s such an issue.

The best cuddlers do not ask and I am not offering. The rates are high enough and I am willing to pay the going rate. My experience has been when a tip is asked for it is usually an offering for "extras" beyond cuddling. At that point I want the session to end.

@Sooson Lol. I know you’re joking but for me “rounding” enters the equation (probably because I can’t do math on the fly!). For example, I might round up to the nearest 30-40 off the given rate, especially because I don’t know how much commission the site takes out and I only do this once in a blue moon so I want to make sure I’m being a gentleman. I think some smart pros set their rates to 170 or something odd so it just seems “natural” for the client to to round up..
In general, I like giving and hate money so tipping feels like a win/win for me. But that is just like my opinion.

In general, I don't tip for cuddling. On the other hand, if we go to a public place, all of the food, drinks, games, etc. are on me.
I tip occasionally, especially if its a last minute session or if we extend the session.

Interesting discussion. While some pros truly do not expect tips, there are also a substantial number of pro's profiles that say things like "the site takes a certain percentage of fees, so gratuities are greatly appreciated".
So it is a valid concern for those of us who are paying the pros.
As a pro, I have been tipped all of one time, out of more than a hundred sessions. It was a lovely surprise that I promptly added to my "sliding scale" fund. I always love fun little monetary "thanks, you did a great job" nods! Never expected, and yet, always a pleasant surprise.
