I broke my nose when I was 2, that’s about it :-)
I've needed stitches before for being stupid, but I haven't broken a bone before
I’ve fractured my knee and had my nose broken - then I got divorced
Left thumb as child, 4 ribs on my right side during college years. Want a list of orthopedic injuries too?
I may have broken my big toe once while moving a pool table and having it drop on my foot but I never had it checked. Only thing to do in that situation is tape it and wait til it gets better When I was a kid my mom actually ran over my foot and ankle with the car but there was no injury or much pain from it, I guess because of the even amount of steady pressure.
I've broken my left ankle, right lower orbit, three bones in my left foot, right big toe, and some fingers. lol I swear I'm not a clutz!
No broken bones! Not even a sprain! Or a major bug bite/bee or wasp sting, Im a very cautious person hahah
Broke no bones until my 20's. Then broke 10-12 bones since. They've largely been non-displaced fractures and usually ulna, radius or femur. I got so used to it that if I broke a bone on the weekend, I'd wrap it in a magazine and ace bandage and wait until Monday to go in to see the orthopedist. Generally, sports related injuries.
Breaks, in my experience, heal better than sprains.
Nothing actually broken, but I dislocated my shoulder a couple of years ago (then drove myself to hospital with the other arm), and I've had surgery in both knees ... I still love bush walking (hiking) though! Adventures are fun.
I also put a pitchfork through my foot when I was about 10, but missed all the bones fortunately ... I'm not totally sure why I did that.
I've had a fractured thumb, bruised ribs (felt like they were broken), an achilles tendon severed (my doctor was able to pull and sew it back together), and an inch and a half long piece of bailing wire embedded in my foot by a lawn mower, that went through my shoe like it wasn't there. Not a lot of fun having my dad squeeze it up far enough to get a pair of pliers on it to pull it out. That caused one of many tetanus shots i got as a kid. Due to a lot of construction on the dairy, I stepped on a lot of nails. I'm glad I have a hard head, or I would have had a lot of skull fractures due to my older brother's practical jokes. As it was, I've bled profusely from my head more than once. Oh yeah, I got arrested because a cow kiked me in the chin, and I had a bandage on it causing the cops to think I was part of an armed robbery, because the culprits had used bandages to disguise themselves. My younger years were interesting to say the least. Jim
I had a boxers fracture
I have two broken ribs. One on each side. Hopefully, they will heal before the allergy season kicks in!
no....man just thinking about it makes me cringe. I don't even want to read the replies I am such a wuss with stuff like this.
No, but I did sprain my collar bone once. I rolled off of a bed.
I've broken both pinky toes on separate occasions (clumsy). I also broke my foot about 4 or 5 months ago I think it was... At first I thought it was a bad sprain but after it healed enough for me to touch it I realized that the bone is sticking up a bit. It's still sensitive to touch and I don't think that it will ever fully heal. But I walk normal so all good! Lol
None of my own.
@greybeard so other people’s
Luckily, none. I'm glad I have good luck for such a clumsy person
My middle toe. Bare feet & wooden sofa corners don't work together well.
Nope, but I had a separated collarbone and that hurt enough! xD
Ok so I was a tomboy as a kid (I know I'm super feminine now) but I used to play with boys all the time. So one day like many others we climbed the tree in my front yard. I always had something to prove so I went the highest. Ended up on the ground with one leg brocken and the other fractured. I wasn't in pain I was pissed and scared that my mom would be mad because she told us to stop climbing the tree before someone falls and gets hurt? lol listen to your parents they tend to be right most of the time
My left middle finger when I was 9.
There was this teen who was a neighborhood bully and I was apparently the target in the neighborhood pool that day. I said something smart alecky in return and tried to storm off in dramatic fashion, but ended up more focused on my exit than the door I was going through. My finger got snagged on the hinged side of the door.
I’m sure crying/screaming caused whatever illusion of “badass-ness” I had just given to be broken, along with my finger.
Much like @Brandi I'm a cautious person. No broken bones, no bee stings, etc. I've got plenty of other crazy ridiculous circumstances in my life, so I'll take the win on this one so far!
None that I know of.
Do funny bones count?
If so I broke it a few times watching Shakes the Clown.
If you haven't seen it, don't.
I have never broken, but have badly injured my knee playing football. Was out for 12 weeks. ?
I broke both arms in a cycling accident when I was 30ish. One was in plaster, the other in a sling.
I remember calling my mum the evening after it happened. The first thing she asked was 'Do you need any help going to the toilet?'
Mums eh?
(I said no.)
Never! I guess I have not lived dangerously enough!
I have broken my left arm three times, my legs a few times, my toes, my fingers, my wrists....come to think of it, I have broken a lot of bones in my life. :P
I had a fractured rib once.
I have broken my left leg twice, what a bummer, the 2nd time it took many screws and a plate to fix it, It was like 6 months before I was back to normal. At that time I had 2 old trucks/toys that were stick shifts, so I couldn't drive them even after I was on a walking cast due the to pressure it took to push the clutch in. After the cast came off it still hurt when pushing the clutch, so I put a bathroom scale on my clutch pedal and found it took 70 lbs to push it in, I was shocked it took that much. Sure no fun at all !!!!!
