There most certainly is platonic kissing. Being (partially) of southern European heritage, it's been ingrained upon me to kiss family members, friends, friends' wives, parents, children, etc. whenever I see them. I give my massage therapist a cheek kiss when I see her, my hair stylist as well. None of these examples have ever been anything more than a show of affection, not physical attraction or sexual desire.
I would avoid giving my cuddle partner a kiss on the forehead due to not knowing how she would read it and due to the site's TOS. If sometime down the road she were comfortable enough with me, I think it might be ok.
@littermate ๐๐คฃ๐ Yessssssss
I do however kiss the tops of the heads of babies and fuzzy fuzzy kitties with abandon and have never felt that was a sexual move.
@FunCartel saliva on the tops of my hand! hahhahaha Omgosh..... The best part of all of this advice is that it needs to be communicated with the other human that is involved.
Follow the rules
@Cozy_Snuggle - Not here. The rules are pretty clear. You can not use this site for the intention of dating including kissing. If you meet an enthusiast and you two want to take things further away from the site after an initial cuddle session, then that's fine.
I personally know a pro that uses this site and even has on her escort site to get more people. So yes, people use this for other reasons than just cuddling.
@chris0074 - Report those people and provide the evidence to their escort, OF, etc... site. They are not allowed here.
@chris0074 You just opened your account and you already know a pro that is an escort. I guess your escort told you about this site.
@BoomerSpooner - or just somebody here to troll. It's hard to tell on this site.
I'm curious why @Cozy_Snuggle felt the need to ressurect this thread. I just imagine them searching the forums for "kissing" and then feeling validated despite all the evidence otherwise. ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
What.
@Cozy_Snuggle
Everything is allowed as long as there is consent.
The police would like to have a word with youโฆ You realize prostitution is illegal, no matter how much both parties consent, right?
@bobadevotee Unless you're in one of 8 counties in Nevada
I guess itโs all a cultural norm. We in our culture, we greet the ladies by kissing on both the cheeks and with a handshake. Even if we meet them the first time. Itโs a given thing. But other cultures, most donโt. Itโs nothing sexual itโs just a form of greetings handed down generation.
@sin67 That reminds me of the first time I met a friend from the Netherlands. Thankfully I had studied French before (and heard about "la bise") so it didn't completely surprise me that other areas of Europe also did similar things.
I prefer not to at the moment, unless there is a good (long standing) trustworthy rapport between said cuddler and I: Until, THAT HAPPENS said cuddler should definitely keep their lips to themselves and so will I.๐ค๐
The problem I see with this inquiry isn't the intention of the action. Sure, most folks are aware that the cheek kiss is a normal greeting in lots of places. However, when the terms of service are super specific about certain prohibitions, what I think is sketchy is the mindset of "limit testing." It doesn't matter if it's harmless in some contexts, it's not harmless in this one. If someone told me they thought the TOS should be different regarding prohibited actions, I'd be pretty concerned that I wouldn't know which rules they would choose not to follow.
Pro cuddlers can be in an even more vulnerable place than enthusiasts, because the client could have a "the customer is always right" attitude when they've paid someone. Entitlement is a helluva drug. The power dynamic can be treacherous, but the TOS is structured to help pros retain some of theirs.
IT HAS TO BE IN THE EMOJIS!!!โ You give a wink, theyโll take an eggplant. ๐๐
HA!! ๐๐๐
@Catloaf ๐Speaking as one who uses emojis A LOT during written communication, I totally get and agree with your comment.๐ Hence why I will choose my emojis carefully especially when communicating with a new cuddler or just a new person in general.๐๐
However, IF AND WHEN said conversation starts to get TOO uncomfortable and inappropriate๐ฌ (on said "new cuddler's end") then I'll start whipping these EMOJIS out during conversation as a way of expressing MY feelings of uncomfort towards whatever said "new cuddler" is saying to me:
๐คข๐คฎ๐ฉ๐ก๐คฌ๐ ๐๐ค๐๐๐คจ๐๐คฆโโ๏ธ๐ซ๐
And of course, there's always a BLOCK AND DELETE coming once I have to resort to using these emojis.๐
Lol!๐ I adore how certain EMOJIS can SAY ALOT without typing alot.๐๐๐
@Katota I LOVE that emoji string for those situations. May I copy that for myself?
@Skweezer you may be new here, but I sure appreciate the way you approach things and discuss them. Kudos for being so clear on consent, power dynamics, and general ethics.
@cuddlefaery - Thanks for the feedback ๐ there are people in the world that I love very much. All I have to do is picture them in a tough spot and everything becomes pretty clear.
@MarkBPhx Oh yeah, feel free.๐ Go ahead, thank you for your positive feedback. ๐
I very innocently kissed a cuddlers forehead not too long ago and come to learn she was was telling folks that I was trying to make out and get sexual . I misread the room and thought it would have been ok based on our rapport and cuddle time together so it's definitely on me for not inquiring and getting consent first . Even though none of that was true nor crossed my mind, that is apparently the way she perceived it so it speaks to the larger issue of no matter how benign something may seem to us , it doesn't mean it's benign to everyone, and even after all the time and experiences I've had on here I can certainly still mess up with the best of em. Which unfortunately led to them having a negative experience.
Is..... allowed during a cuddling session
I guess it depends on what the definition of is is.
