No call no show issues

Hey everybody! I just want to know if everyone has the same issue with people setting appointments and pulling a no call no show. I have literally set 5 appointments and for one reason or another they cancel or just not bother responding when the appointment time comes. Any opinions on this?

  • Try chatting more with prospective clients rather than just setting somrthing up really fast.
Usually clients with their profile filled out and photos tend to show more.consistantly; but thats not to say thats the only way to tell. Ive had clients with blank photo and blank profile too :)
Karma reviews also a good indicator, if they have good review hopefully they are good! Lol
You are also allowed to ask for a cancelation fee and of they so cjoose not to pay, report them, as they are breaking the rules of the site. :)

  • I used to get those a lot. Not so much anymore now that I've set up processes and procedures. I share this with the clients so they know what needs to happen before we set up a cuddle session. Through this process I believe it weeds out some of the flaky Jakes. Hope that helps. Let me know if you would like some suggestions for processes.

@SunnyMarie I’ve been dealing with the same thing, it’s so frustrating. I hope things get better soon!

Thank you everyone! I will definitely take all that into consideration.

  • I found this thread to be interesting. I wonder why you guys would get no shows? Nerves maybe?

  • I had an appointment set up with a pro today and she was a no call no show. It sucks because I can only host a couple days a month and wasted one of those today. I couldn’t find anyone else at the last minute. I left her bad karma.

  • @JazzyPants maybe start a thread with your tips? O:-)

  • I 've had some sessions ghost out last minute or cancel. sometimes it happens, but I've found each time , I haven't been in direct contact with pro or non-pro. I try to have a phone conversation before meeting, and usually like to confirm when leaving my house I text or call saying when the GPS is telling me i'll arrive, it shows i'm trying to get there on time , and to final confirm appt.

  • I had that happen to me the other day, I drove all the way to this person house and they never came to the door. They said they appointment was still on and I was texting them during my travel time because my GPS had me turned around. Then after 15 min of waiting- I got into my car && drove off. I was waiting around all day. Then he proceeded to make threats to me and my page. I had to delete my old account and make a new one. I kinda scared that he will find this one and start the process over again.Thoughts?

  • I hope you reported the user they could be banned for that behavior, sorry that you were being harassed and threatened.

  • @hudsonv , pmvines is correct. Anyone who makes threats to you on here, please report. You can actually report anything that seems off and just explain it in the notes, as one mod told us yesterday that someone who was making "off" requests but not crossing any lines to two of us had been doing something egregious to a third and got banned. So, your report not only protects you but can protect others.

I'm sorry you had to delete your page! Definitely submit a report on this user and explain in detail what happened with your old page. The mods here can find all of that and it helps everyone. Finally, sorry you had that experience; it's not cool to waste someone's time like that. The good news is it doesn't sound like the user has your address or information, so Whew!

    Wishing you many wonderful cuddles!

  • So far I have been very lucky and never had anyone cancelling the last minute or experiencing a no show.

I always trust my instinct when communicating with new client and if I feel that something's off, I challenge them. They either stop communicating or we meet and have an amazing session.

Before the session, I like to know a bit more about the client - the reason of booking a session with me, how comfortable are they with touch and I offer them space for questions. I even bring the arousal topic before we meet and reassure the client that it is normal body reaction so they don't have to worry about situations like this. First time clients sometimes worry too much, which is natural. It is something they have never done before, they don't know what to expect, it's scary. So communication before the session is very important.

Once we set date and time, we exchange phone numbers in case something will come up and the session would have to be cancelled. If the session is arranged more than 4-5 days ahead, I like to recheck with client a day or two before the session if everything is ok and I also text client on the day of the session to make sure the session is taking place.

Hope this is a bit helpful and eliminates some of your no shows. ;-)

  • @Mili thank you for the conversation tip. I've had a lot of cancellations over the past 3 weeks. I'll use these questions the next time someone new messages me.

  • @Brandi, I didn't know pros can charge a no show fee. Although I've been on this site for a few months, I'm still a novice cuddler. How would I set that up?
Is it something I would do with an account like venmo or PayPal and other merchants or is that something I would set up here with the moderators?
I would appreciate any insight on this. I really want to weed out flakes and concentrate on clients who are genuine.

  • @tashat146 If a client no shows and you expect him to reimburse you, it’s up to you to find. Way to get the money from him.

@tashat146 , if you read the cuddlers contract , there is the penalty for no show explained . However , unclear is that any session scheduled not with the Cuddle comfort message system ( for example , a subsequent session set up and confirm by each parties
Phones ,). The pro may be prohibited from collecting . They can try .
A ruling from the site people would be in order on such an issue

the site works more in favor of the clients in that there is usually some type of consequence if reported to the site if the cuddler is a no show, however if the client is a no show there is typically not anything done about it. A user on here had booked with a friend of mine who was traveling to his home state. They had open communication and the day of he went silent, blocked her and deactivated his account. was reported, but he only got a slap on the wrist and was allowed back on, and that wasn't even necessarily for the breaking of the appointment but for other things that bad come up that he had said and done during their interactions leading up to the appointment. So to answer the question more directly, no, i don't believe there is much recourse in enforcing anything, it is merely a recommendation.
