@Mark the same person you're referencing, not a fake one but real one , made a lengthy post that was criticized, questioned , and reported and later the entire thread ended up vanishing . I messaged you that it was questionable as there was no reason for the thread to have been removed , and that it did unfortunately give the appearance to some that it might have been hidden in order to keep away criticism of his grandiose and obtuse comments . Not even saying that was the case , however that is the appearance nonetheless . Not making accusations.
Not trying to ruffle anything but I feel this could be considered an example relevant to your post .
Oh right. No idea about that one but if it was reported, I'm personally quite confident that the mod would have decided to remove it based on the report itself, not to protect OP's reputation. I make that assumption based on the internal guidance and culture and the quality of character of the mods.
In general terms though, I do encourage the mods to lock threads (real discussions, not spam) over deletions to help minimise this type of speculation but it's ultimately at their discretion.
@mark. Yes that’s the example I’m referring to that @pmvines mentioned above. I flagged it also It got flagged, It got moved , it got vanished, it was just for me… not a good look. 👀.
You have an amazing site and even better vision in my opinion 👍. Lots of us are “vested “ in your vision . Most of us don’t want to bother you in any way. Just when when we see something posted that looks like it should be coming from you and you alone , it just looks odd to some of us. And then for it to disappear 🫥…. Well it’s unusual
Edit *. ( thought I flagged you directly also , but once we flag ..the report goes away for us and we don’t see the report again )
Appreciate the feedback as always
As for threads disappearing, I never delete anything, just move it a thread graveyard that is out of sight. And if it's me moving it, it's usually spam or something that became so toxic and so far off the rails that it needed to be put down. And if anything relates to me or a friendship I have made with someone, I just let another mod handle it. I don't want anyone to feel like they are being treated unfairly, regardless if I personally disagree with them. Rest assured this angers that person and the person I am friends with equally 🥴
@TxTom Haha no schedule for me. I just hop on at random times throughout the day and night.
Oh I didn’t see this second page when I commented lol. I think I know what thread you all are referring to but I don’t think that was one I handled.
Edit: oh nevermind. I read Mark’s comment and I must have missed that one entirely.
Just to clarify to everyone, when I say "deletions", I'm talking by appearance only. We never really delete threads because they actually get moved to a private space.
That allows for some internal transparency but also means if you think there was a serious mistake in removing a thread, you could potentially reach out to a mod and have it restored later on if they agree with you.
I do have a question. If I start and join a website called NoFans and charge people to not follow me and the only pictures are under construction with a unicorn wearing a hardhat and holding a jackhammer Would I be banned? Seriously thinking about it Please give me some insight
@ScroogeMcducky I’d pay for that
@BoomerSpooner that makes me happy and sad at the same time.............. $10.99 a month
@ScroogeMcducky Apple+ streaming takes priority here, sorry. I am limiting my subscriptions.
You mean I can get paid to not be liked ? People been hating me for free damn I need to capitalize on this .
@ScroogeMcducky If your unicorn has a hardhhat you need to change positions until things calm down. 😐

@UglyDuckling in this case I'm the guilty party I believe.
@OhioMike I know it wasn't your post but if this is about the post about substance use I do have an answer. When I got reports from people struggling with that sort of thing who said it was hard to see I decided it was best to send it to the graveyard. I don't think controversial topics are bad in general. I do think that promoting substance use on a cuddle website where many people struggle, are depressed and need respite from personal demons (demons that are frequently alcohol related) it might have not been the best topic. If the topic makes one person's struggle with substance harder I don't regret moving it. It was moved based on reports that said it was triggering.
@stormydaycuddle You are wise beyond your years.
@stormydaycuddle firstly I agree with @TheFunCartel statement👍I am super delighted in that you have decided to be part of the moderator team along with all the others here.
While this may seem like some overdramatic or exaggerated point, I am trying to share... The point I'm trying to make is more of the OP's behavior on these forums over the years. Yeah, if you are just observing today's behavior well so what right? Just another poorly placed post by the same member who has been here awhile. Happens every day here it seems.
The issue I see is this is a regular poster who behaves poorly and treats other members poorly on the forums now for years and somehow consistently receives a free pass, meaning these threads get vanished, hidden, deleted etc. when it gets flagged.
Why isn't it just locked? Thats the question that seems to get overlooked. Can we please see the transparency of this member? Thats my only concern. Why does a certain member, or actually any member get preferential treatment on these forums, but others get the boot or some equivalent? It isn't just me but quite a number of long-term members see this and well quite frankly it's interesting, to say the least, to many of us who have been here for quite some time.
Anyways probably not a big deal to most, especially newer members who haven't yet had to deal with the narcissistic, attention seeking, and sense of superiority behavior displayed regularly by these posts over the many years here.
Again, appreciate greatly all the effort that yourself and the moderator team has provided here. Those who interact with me hopefully know I am a big supporter and proponent of CC. Just trying to understand this so even I can explain it to peeps. Thank you for your reply. 👍
@OhioMike this one was genuinely for protecting others from seeing the content which could be harmful to them. As for the other things I’m not as sure. I haven’t been responding to the forum tickets long so I may be the wrong one to reply to that part.
As a moderator who has done some moderating in the forums, I've learned something: whatever decision is made, (remove, edit, lock, ignore, timeout, etc), there will probably be someone who disagrees with the choice that is made. Because of this, forum moderation is not for the faint of heart.
I don't mind going on record to say that I think @stormydaycuddle is doing a fantastic job. I admire her wisdom and her courage.
.
Thank you @stormydaycuddle, I have no desire to upset anybody.
