Ever been out and about, and come across someone that looked like they really needed a hug? Then offer them a hug and they seem to melt in your arms? Yea, it feels that good.
Haha I'm wearing my free hugs shirt and saw this. If you're in Northern Virginia and see me I will always have hugs to give anytime anywhere to anyone. Out jogging and sweaty hairy old guy, hugs. Veteran smoking a nasty smelling cigar, hugs. That one really awkward teenager struggling, hugs. The homeless lady outside the book store, hugs. It's why I wear the shirt. Together with human kindness is how I will make this world a better place. A free hug for the entire world.

@1_teddybear in my experience, people that need or might want a hug aren't clear about it until an invitation is given. I've had the experience a handful of times where I picked up a vibe or discerned from their countenance that they were down so I asked if they needed a hug. They were very grateful for the hug and it seemed to lift their spirit. I don't have a shirt yet, but I have this on my wish list.
@MarkBPhx As I mentioned earlier in the thread, i've had that experience too. I wish I could get it to happen more often. But it is seldom I get that vibe from someone. I was looking online for that Tee shirt. I've seen some similar but not quite the same.
