  • "Lets have a session and i will pay you as soon as you become a pro " =) =)

  • @quincyq03 Those waiting for site approval to become Pro's have a gray Pro Pending tag instead of a pink Professional tag. Anyone asking for money who doesn't currently have a pink tag should be reported as an Untagged Pro.

  • @SunsetSnuggles thank you for clarifying. I’ll be sure to do that next time to keep this a better place

  • @quincyq03 No worries, mate! 😊 Just don't wanna see anyone get scammed (the site loses their commission, as well).

  • @cuddlefaery I agree 💯. Some thank me for reaching out. I’ve made some friends from reaching out, that I may not have made otherwise. Some say they accidentally clicked on me, some say they clicked because I was on the forum. It’s fine if they don’t have interest, and it’s fine for me to say hello to them. :)

  • Pending Pro : I'm a pro pending approval, I charge.
    Me : How about 2 hours Friday night:
    Pending Pro : sure!
    Me : oh by the way I'm a pending client. i will pay you once i get approved.

  • There should be a way for Pros to initiate contact. Simultaneously, clients who wish to, can block any initial contact by a Pro by putting their profile on a "do not call" list.

    I wouldn't mind being contacted initially by a Pro who is, or will be, in my area. I can ignore such contact, if I want to, without getting my knickers in a twist over being cold called.

    There are times in Search when I will see a Pro that I've never seen before, even though she has been a Pro already for a number of years.

    If her profile is only sporadically searchable, I will likely miss her, so it would be nice for her to be able to reach out to me.

  • Guess it’s what agreed upon by both parties. Sometimes non pro will also request to be paid although they requested for the cuddles. It’s the understanding between the two cuddlers as to who pays. Now if you disagree to payments then there is no cuddling. Simple.

    @cuddlefaery
    Pros making cold calls to people that didn’t view their profile is not allowed because it is discouraging to people who feel like the only people looking to cuddle them are asking to be paid for it. If someone hasn’t shown any interest in a pro by not visiting their profile, that is a reportable offense. If someone has social anxiety and they are afraid to initiate the conversation, all they need to do is visit a pro’s profile first.

    @sin67
    No that is not how it works. If someone is not a pro and they charge for cuddles, they will be suspended until they are approved to be a pro, or they will be banned. If two enthusiasts connect, there is never an exchange of money. Enthusiasts do not have the ability to accept bookings on the site. Any enthusiast asking for money is in violation of the rules and they should be reported. There is no service agreement in place between enthusiasts and you are putting your safety at risk (as are they). Only pros can charge for cuddles.

  • @CharlieBear I know. I was not saying pros should be able to mass message everyone. Rather I was responding to folks saying that viewing profiles shouldn't count towards "interest" which allows pros to contact. The argument is that just viewing profiles isn't indicating interest, which can be true, but as I pointed out there needs to be some form of "warm call/interest/open to contact" option for the reasons I mentioned.

    @TxTom, @cuddlefaery , I agree. I don't at all mind if Pros cold contact me, especially if they're going to be in my area. I live in a small town and welcome the chance to meet new pros who might be passing through.

    In fact, I have a line in my profile that explicitly says it's OK: "Pro or enthusiast, you're welcome to send me a message to connect." This is the closest thing we have to an "open to contact" option as @cuddlefaery mentioned.

    I've also had pros reach out to me because of a comment I made here on the Forums. Even if they're geographically inconvenient to me, I don't mind. Personally, I would NEVER report a Pro for a cold contact unless she was annoying me or harassing me with repeated unwanted communications.

  • That’s one thing I miss about being an enthusiast. I could view profiles and send messages. Now I feel I can’t really even view a profile, because then they would view mine back possibly, and if I contacted them, then that’s a tricky part of interest. I do accidentally click on profiles, and I view some from the forum, but if they end up starting a convo, I’ll say I saw them on the forum. I do view pro profiles freely, because there’s no attempt to solicit business there. I feel if an enthusiast does view my profile, it’s not a complete cold call. They did click it at some point, even by mistake. And they can not respond or respond as they like. I only send the one introductory message. Not like junk mail that keeps coming in the mail in real life.

  • Not sure if I may have missed this but...
    What if a Pro wants to cuddle another Pro? Does the person requesting pay? Do they pay each other?

    @robroo Women on here tend to not charge other women from what I have read. I only say women pros because they are the majority on here.

  • I once had a guy rudely message me "what do you want?" just because I clicked on his profile.

  • @robroo Pro's sometimes have a note in their profile stating that they will cuddle other Pro's for free. I have never heard of a Pro paying another Pro for an individual cuddle...interesting thought. I have seen Pro's pay to attend group cuddles run by another Pro, however. In that instance, they would be paying for the group experience, or perhaps the opportunity to subtly advertise.

  • I'm sorry about that, @Mike403 !

  • “alternatively, there are a lot of people with social anxiety who seek platonic cuddling here, and it can be next to impossible for them to initiate communication. Without the ability for pros to make first contact under certain circumstances, it's likely that the people who need pro cuddlers the most might not ever connect with them or might take much longer to do so.“

    Well said! Thanks for bringing this into the convo, @cuddlefaery.

  • @robroo sometimes pros pay other pros, the same way a massage therapist sometimes pays to get massages. Other times they may trade services or offer it for free/discount. It just has to be discussed and have clear expectations set.

  • @robroo The pro that starts the initial request of cuddling on the booking platform, is the one responsible for paying. There is a pro I’d like to cuddle, and so I’ve seen this prompt. (But as @cuddlefaery stated, they can swap too, and not pay if that is agreed upon)
