@EwokBabies I stopped collecting comics around 89 or so when I realized I was spending more than $200 each month (I was collecting a lot back then). My favorite at the time was probably a Comico titled The Elementals, but as far as mainstream ones, the Spiderman titles were probably my favorite. As for LARPing, it was great exercise running around various parks and hills of SoCal whacking people with foam covered swords.
Thank you, @RedFox16 . My list is pretty airtight, although I think there are some closet Trekkies here who disagree, but they shouldn't be allowed to have opinions on important matters pertaining to Star Wars.
You're right about the AT-AT (okay, I'll give you a pass on the Ewoks). It would be great to own one! Granted, the drive-thru at McDonalds would be a little tricky to navigate, but on the bright side, I wouldn't have to worry about fighting for a parking space at the mall during Christmas.

It’s cool seeing so many others with similar interests to me here! I’ve always been a nerd haha. I’m into gaming (MMOs, RPGs, FPS, Survival, Etc.), anime, reading, D&D, and K-pop (I collect autographs). I’ve never been to a ren faire, however I plan on going to the Scarborough fair this year. I’m also tempted to do a cosplay for the fair too, but if I don’t this year I will next year.

I love Star Trek, Doctor Who , and Star Wars and most sci fi stuff. I also love fantasy and just got back into reading again. I started reading the Dresden files, which is an urban fantasy series. I'm really loving that at the moment.
I also love RPG and boardgames but just haven't played in a while and Renn Faires. I'm trying to be more socially more physically active and I'm taking small steps moving forward to do so.
I just recently was taken out for throwing on my birthday and I loved it. I'm also curious about rooms and rooms.
I love gadgets in general
One of the 'nerdiest' things I've done: for roughly a 'year', I was crazy hooked on playing Chess--against a computer. (I still miss it). It was a square, novelty computerized chess board. Here's the thing, tho: I 'suck' at Chess. I could never win passed level One. Yo, I'd play chess against the computer on that computerized board for H-O-U-R-S. I'd barely eat or do anything else. And still couldn't get passed Level One. LOL. One of my old laptops also had a good electronic / digital chess site installed on it; I played that for HOURS too. Kinda scary and sad that's all I needed to entertain me and keep me happy. I cannot play against people. I refuse to. I only enjoy playing against computers. Man, all I did those days and nights was just play chess, solo, sun up to sundown. Still on the lowest level and getting my azz whooped. But Loved it, SMH.
Oh, and I was a local trivia host for roughly a decade. Wrote my own questions. Actual trivia. Like, I was really in a restaurant, with a microphone etc, getting paid, making up random trivia questions to a bunch of teams and awarding 'prizes'. But didn't roll with a company, all solo. Kinda miss it. My thing was: creating a trivia night where regular everyday folks could enjoy it AND still learn. And I tried to make my trivia down-to-earth, relatable, fun, interesting. I'd like to think folks left my trivia nights learning something cool. Covid ended it. One of these days I'll restart it...

I'm an Excel black belt.
I love trains. I wouldn't call myself a train-spotter but I do love to travel on them, learn about them. I like to be on a busy station concourse and people watch. There are some lines in the UK that are regarded as very scenic and I've traveled on a few of those, for example the Carlisle and Settle line. Some others are still on the list like the Heart of Wales line and the line that passes over the Glenfinnan Viaduct, the West Highland, which some of you may remember as being featured in the Harry Potter films. I'm always on the Underground in London too.
There is a heritage railway down in Kent that is also on the list. The Spa Valley. Why? Because they run a Class 207 on certain days.
Finally found a topic I can be active in as I am rather nerdy! Apologies in advance for the obvious excitement that's about to appear.
In the simplest terms my flavor of nerd (my nerdom) would be games. Video games, card games, board games, if it's a game I'm interested. But the game that has the greatest hold on me would be LARP!!! (Live Action Roleplay)
Creating characters is fun, yes. You get to create a voice, an entire personality, even an aesthetic! But I find the real joy to be in learning how the character moves (physically) and thinks!
I'm part of a LARP that has a heavy focus on combat. My current character is primarily an archer. (As I'm actually an archer I thought I'd try to incorporate myself a bit with this character) Teaching and training my body to fight with the swords the game allows has been difficult but enjoyable. I spend many a Saturday evening sore and tired from the combat but enjoying interacting with the other players. From sitting around a fire singing sea shanties and Disney songs to roaming around and making new friends by stumbling upon their camp in the middle of the night.
I don't know if there are any other LARPers here but if any of this has made you even the slightest bit interested then I definitely recommend you check out a LARP near you at least once! I'll happily assist in helping you find a LARP near you ^w^

Putting together/assembling plastic model kits, it gets the creative juices flowing and it genuinely taught me a lot about how a car gets put together. It actually was my start to mechanics lol
Also a big art guy, love me some coloring pages to relax and unwind

I collect toy ponies. Sure, some are refined, expensive Breyer models designed for adult collectors, but most are kids' plastic Barbie horses, Grand Champions, retro My Little Pony, and the like. The brighter and more adorable, the better. 🦄🦄🦄

😄 I'm definitely a typist nerd. I have clocked 150 WPM, though my typical "fast average" is 120. I'm sure I've slowed down in recent years, now that I spend more time on my phone than my computer.

They are actually a thing now; you can buy them at Murdoch's, Amazon, etc. They charge by USB. 🔥🧤 I bought my boyfriend a pair when we moved to Wyoming, because his hands are always freezing, like you mentioned, and it can get down to -40 degrees, here. 🥶

@SunsetSnuggles - There’s a few. Have a good deep dive internet search, for the best lines. Consider Scotland and an area they call, The West Country. Also pro tip: book the tickets well in advance if you can, cheaper that way. 😌

I nerd out about something different every month or so. April, eclipses. This month, auroras. Last November, home theater. Every few months, camera gear. February, Friends. January, NAS storage servers. 😄
I think the tendency to fixate on something for a short while is an ADHD symptom.
Lately, I've been buying cheap mini brick sets to build things. I had a hobby of building Gundam model kits when I was younger, but now I'm building more Lego-ish type stuff. I've recently built a tiny vintage Mac and a little Polaroid camera. They're so fun to make, but it can be difficult working with such tiny bricks!
