I had pros fall asleep as the little spoon. I'm sure its not uncommon when you meet late at night. doesn't bother me personally the I completely understand those who expect a pro not to.
Another general comment about falling asleep: make sure your wallet is in a safe place . you don't really know the person you are with. Yes, it takes years to know a person.
As others have said, if it's an enthusiast situation, it's not a big deal as long as both people are ok with it and it's safe.
In a pro situation, as a client, while I would take it as a compliment that the pro feels safe with me and while I can understand it if we're in a super relaxed and comfortable position for a long time....for me, it's just something that most likely I wouldn't want to happen since it's not what I'm paying for personally.
I pay for more of a full experience. There's so much conversation and connection and just so many ways to explore active physical touch that I enjoy. There are definitely times when it's nice to just relax and cuddle and listen go relaxing music without talking. But for me personally, I usually only want to do that in any one position for like, maybe 20 minutes tops. I'd rather try a number of different positions, or have a lot of active touch going on in a particular position.
Now, if it was for unpaid time, that would be a completely different story. But if it's for the time I'm paying for, I want to get the most out of my money, and for me personally, that's not a long period of inactivity.
It wouldn't upset me if the pro fell asleep, but I would definitely wake them up to get us back on track.
I take it as a compliment. I as a pro cuddler, often fall asleep while cuddling it’s just too relaxing
Considering that practically all my cuddle friends are out of town which means usually it's an over night or multi day hangout, no it doesn't . The alternative would be to do copious amounts of meth and not sleep , which doesn't make for very good cuddles .
Almost all my cuddle buddies have fallen asleep. One was snoring pretty loud. 🤭 Whenever his sleep apnea caused him to stop breathing I'd nudge him awake. Another one was dreaming because he started twitching, I tapped him awake as well.
I have also been lulled into light sleep. As @cuddlefaery mentioned the "nervous system is still on alert" because despite being relaxed I am still with a "stranger" after all. I usually start lucid dreaming as soon as I close my eyes. Which is strange when you are lying next to a stranger & they are now in my dream. It's an out of body experience. 😏
Don’t bother me one bit! The point is relaxation, so if someone falls asleep in my arms - mission accomplished!! I feel happy that someone feels safe with me to do so.
If someone falls asleep I wouldn’t mind. I’d try not to.
I find it the highest form of a compliment if someone falls asleep during a session with me, takes a little bit of trust to do that. ☺️☺️
I agree with everyone falling asleep just means you are comfortable and relaxed isn't that the reason we are here
Had a pro immediately fall asleep on my chest and snore for two hours which cost me $200. Kind of ticked me off.
I despise it when people sleep ! Bastards !!! What do you think they make uppers for ?
I also take it as a compliment! I love that someone is relaxed enough to fall asleep with me. Although, I have had people tell me "hey, I may fall asleep just wake me up if I do." 😂
Overnights are my favorite because I feel safe and sleep better when I have someone to snuggle and fall asleep with. Also, morning snuggles are the best! I love waking up and snuggling in the morning 🌞 (after popping in a mint😅)
It doesn’t hurt when it’s happened to me. It actually feels like they trust you enough to fall asleep.
I’m thinking for those of you that would prefer it not happen, you should make eye contact early in the cuddle, set a very thick point sharpie openly on the nightstand, then start telling stories about the “good old days” in college when people fell asleep. 😇
Does it upset u when someone falls asleep?
Only if they start snoring... Otherwise, nope! 😁
But if you start snoring and I fail TRYING to get you to TURN OVER on your side to ease your snoring on my ears....😏
Lol! 🤣
Well, then drastic measures must be taken...
😁😁😁😁
some of these responses are hilarious 😂
I've gone into very deep transcendental state while professionally cuddling but not sleep, no.
Not at all! If a client dozes off, I take it as a compliment. It means they feel safe, relaxed, and totally at ease. I like to stay awake and present the whole time, like on cozy watch, making sure they feel nurtured, protected, and held in a space that’s all about them.
Now, if I were the one hiring a cuddler? Oh, I’d absolutely expect them to stay awake and keep those cuddles coming, unless nap time was part of the agreement. 😴 🤣
I’ve had several sessions where I’ve fallen asleep; but they did also. So it’s fair in that case. Perhaps it’s a compliment even if we both feel comfortable and safe enough to drift…
I’ve had a few times when a cuddle partner fell asleep and it was fine with me. I didn’t fall asleep myself but I was completely comfortable and happy that they got the rest they needed.
I've been on both sides of this equation. I've had several instances where either I fell asleep or my cuddle partner fell asleep for a moment. That's a wonderful feeling of relaxation and comfort. No problem there.
I also had an occasion where both myself and the lady I was cuddling fell asleep. Really knocked out. I only woke up because I started snoring, LOL. That's when I noticed I wasn't alone. She was laying on top of me, out cold, drooling and everything. I've got to say, that one felt good, too.
There was one time when I met someone for a cuddle, and she fell asleep almost instantly. Deep REM sleep, loud snoring, definitely out cold. Sleeping so deeply that I was able to get my arm out from underneath her, get out of bed, and move to the chair next to the bed. This was after about 45 minutes of her sleeping. I was seriously planning my escape. But since I had paid for the room, I wasn't the one leaving. So I turned on the TV. When she woke up she was mad at me for moving. She said she never falls asleep and that this was a testament to how comfortable I was. While that's great, I wasn't paying for her naptime. That's really the only time I wasn't happy with someone falling asleep.
I stay awake out of spite
I had a pro fall asleep within the first 5 minutes, not wake up until 1 hour past the agreed upon time (despite gentle efforts to wake her), and then call me after saying that I owed her for the extra hour...
I fell asleep on a cuddle appointment before and I still feel bad to this day. I was traveling and tired. Still, one year later it still makes me feel a certain kind of way. I have every intention of going back to their state and snuggling with them as an enthusiast. I thank my lucky stars that he was a decent human and didn't take advantage of me during my sleep. If you're reading this, I'm coming back just for you 🤗
@btc13 Those types of pros irk me to no end and I never leave them karma and I block them. I also had a pro who fell asleep within five minutes, could not wake her up for any reason, and she claimed that I cuddle so well she went to sleep. That’s not true at all and I told her so. I always chat a lot at the beginning and she offered to make it up on the next session. I asked if the next session was free and she said no and I told her she would not be making anything up to me ever. Then she had the nerve to say I had a bad attitude. I would say 99% of those I cuddle would do it again, so I am not particularly worried what the worst cuddler thinks of my attitude. I call it honesty and sometimes people do not care to hear the truth.
As far as the subject of the thread…when I cuddle an enthusiast she can sleep whenever she wants as it is her prerogative as she is there under the same conditions as me. When I am with a pro, that is different…I am paying that person to cuddle and to verbally interact to a degree and I make it known I am paying for social engagement and I am not the least bit interested in paying to cuddle a glorified sentient pillow. I can hug a pillow without paying someone all on my own. Fortunately, most pros strive to provide the best experience they can.
No, it doesn’t bother me one bit if she were to fall asleep whomever I may be cuddling with. There are times she has fallen asleep and I ended up staying a lot longer because she looks so peaceful sleeping, even if I was awake I just laid there letting her sleep. There were times I fell asleep, in the same, she may have gotten up and let me stay sleeping while she went about doing her household chores. There were times both of us fell asleep. There was one time it almost turned into an all nighter because we both fell asleep. I remember one that I cuddled with regularly and she liked the position best when we would lay on our side, facing one another, cuddling in one another’s arms, and she would place her leg up over mine, and she fell asleep. I stayed for several hours because she looks so peaceful sleeping and she would move in closer to me, and she knows hold her face into my chest, and she said when she woke up because I was so much bigger than her, but she felt like I was a safe space, I was her hide away from the world, even though we were in her place cuddling. So if anyone wants to sleep I’m open to it.
@JackNJ Aww, I think when there’s that level of trust, falling asleep in each other’s arms is one of the biggest compliments. Knowing she feels safe there, like she can tune out all the chaos in the world, that’s something really special.
Never bothers me one bit! 😁😴
It's not surprising when you're snuggled up close and both of your breathing and heartbeats sync up.... It's so cozy! 🤗🤗🤗
