Cuddle Location

I want to make sure I'm not crazy. I declined a cuddle session with someone after she insisted upon meeting in either a drive up motel or Airbnb. She said her friend got arrested after cuddling with a man she was seen with in a hotel lobby, yet when I asked why she was arrested she told me she was no longer friends with her and couldn't tell me why. I was already suspicious of her but this was the final straw.

Am I being too Kareny? Just odd why you don't want to go to a place with a lobby.

    Thanks. Yes, I only asked the one about why the friend was arrested. Even before hearing this red flags were popping up.

    @ritey99 Err too far to one side and you miss out on a nice cuddle. Err too far to the other and you could lose your livelihood, your nest egg, your freedom, or your life. Careful is good.

    If you feel even just a little off, don’t go through with it. She might have personal reasons or she might be a super sketchy pro. Who knows? But if you aren’t enthusiastically excited to meet and connect with this person, don’t put yourself in an awkward position.

    Agreed, thank you. For all I know she was trying to set me up. Not all or even most drive up motels are bad, but a lot are. I've seen too many episodes of Cops and The First 48.

    @ritey99 - You may never know for certain but I suspect you dodged a bullet by declining. If I were a woman, I would prefer to meet in a hotel because if the person I met became aggressive, a scream for help would be MUCH more likely to result in help compared to screaming for help at an AirBNB someone had rented out.

    The idea her friend was arrested for “being seen with a man” in a hotel lobby suggests to me either…
    1) her friend lives in Iran
    2) she is lying
    3) her friend is well known by local cops as a SW

    Of the 3, I think #2 is by far the most likely which begs the question, why does SHE not want to be seen in a hotel lobby with you? I think you made the right call to decline.

    Yes thank you. I was thinking the same about the friend, there's definitely more to that story. The red flags and the personal drama she kept sharing with me became too much.

    That just sounds so weird. The friend got arrested just for being seen with someone in a hotel lobby. There has to be way more to that story.

    It's realy about the person as well, not only the location. Go with the odds. If it doesn't look right, move on.
    I was blocked by a pro yesterday after refusing to move the conversation offline. Her first reply was her phone number.

    @Morpheus I know. One of multiple occasions she had my bs detector going crazy.

    @sooson ha, funny you mention that because in her second or third ever message to me she asked for my number and snapchat. From the get go she was very suspicious. She does have one positive karma review so I cut her a little bit of slack but it just got to be too much with her. I think I dodged a bullet.

    My first pro cuddler was from out of town. She was at a drive up motel near the airport. We had chatted before she came to town, so I was very comfortable knowing her before we met. No red flags.

    @ritey99 you had suspicions and red flags to begin with. You did the right thing. Better safe than sorry.

    Being a Karen is more about being unreasonable and slander obnoxiously to others. Not heed your inner instincts.

    Red flags are red. Cut off the conversation the moment you feel uncomfortable. Some of the women on this site do have dark motives.
