Any cuddle enthusiast or pro into reading or writing literature?

I know this is very niche? I am really a homebody and have no one to really talk about this with. Writing can be therapeutic, just like cuddling. Have not had a cuddle buddy that i can talk about that with. Have had some amazing cuddle partners but not really many that are into literature

I like books, reading, and writing quite a bit. Most of my writing to date has been short fiction and poetry, though I'm currently working on a novel.

I agree, literature can be therapeutic and lots of other things too. Over the years, I have found books to be a friend who is always there no matter what I have needed whether to process something going on in life, entertainment, help relieve being lonely, etc.

Been enjoying reading genre fiction on Kindle Unlimited lately.

  • @HarleyGirlKate thani you for letting me know. Most of my work now is poetry. Trying to get something published.

How long have you been doing that?

  • I've been doing more journal writing lately. Trying to use pen and paper more. It helps process my thoughts and such.

    @jt17: Nice, keep going! πŸ™‚

I started in the 70s as a child starting with diary-journaling, and trying to write my own stories in the style of my favorite writers. Been writing and publishing as a hobby ever since.

  • I wrote an unpublished novel, and I write screenplays. I'm currently writing a feature length movie that I'm pretty excited about.

    I've had over 100 children's books published.

  • I have written an unpublished devotional, a song, and took notes for an article I’m
prepping to write. Writing is on my list of side part time jobs. But I haven’t done much with it yet though. Just started the notes for the article.

If @stormydaycuddle comes back, she was really into literature, and paper clips. :) She’s deactivated right now.

  • I'm an editor in chief of my own literary magazine. I am a poet myself. I'd love to collaborate or write with you for fun.

  • I'm a famous poet 😊

  • And a good one, too!

  • If any of you would be open to seeing me a link to your work, I would love to read and learn from it.

I would LOVE to publish my two children's books, "Little Leaf Learns a Lesson," and "Tiny Turtle's Triumph," but I have yet to get my Mojo up far enough. Maybe some cuddling/squeezing would help? lol

  • @CuddleHugs01234 Yes, I, too, miss the Queen of the Paper Clip. I enjoyed reading her comments (and her snark).

I do hope she returns to these forums soon.

  • @JoyfulHeart thank you my friend πŸ’œ

  • Totally agree about the writing being therapeutic. I never considered writing before, but I had a couple rough life things come at the same time and felt the need to get it out. Once I started though, it was flowing so easily. Almost like having someone to talk to, but the page has endless patience. Perfect comparison to a wonderful cuddle :)

  • For some odd reason, I expected more quirky, bookish ladies -- although, to be honest, literary discussions rarely come up whilst cuddling.

    I am writing a book. :)

  • @BookishGuy I never thought of it like that. Yeah cuddling and writing is hard to come by I would think

  • @TxTom Me too, I hope she returns too. :)

One of my long term goals is to publish a novel, at the moment I’m writing bits of poetry and have some short story ideas floating about.
