Medical worries - wish me luck!

This isn't the usual kind of post, I know, but I've got a really big Drs appointment today that will hopefully help me get access to much needed treatment and I'm incredibly nervous and I need a bit of bucking up and encouragement. 😅 This appointment has been something I've been trying to get for almost 15 years now and if it goes well it would change my life, soooo ahhhhh 😅🫨

    Used to work disability cases here in California and it was a massive undertaking at times to obtain ALL of someone's life long medical records to apply and fully turn in. Never had one of my cases denied though.

    Not sure that is what your medical appt is but I hope all goes amazingly well and you get long awaited relief, trials and meds and or treatments that you have been seeking for almost 2 decades. Good prayers and thoughts to you!!!!!

    To share a bit of hope:

    I needed to have a surgery because of a disease that runs in my family, however, because I was under 30, the doctors continued to brush me off and push alternatives. I was not until my late 20's that a doctor finally listened and I had my surgery within a few months; I'd been pushing for this since I was 19. Keep going, one person doesn't know everything, but all it takes is one to listen and be willing to advocate on your behalf.
