🎵 Don't know when I'll be back again. 🎵
If you had a 4 day weekend, including travel time, where would you go?
Flying down to DFW tonight to visit a former coworker and then help some older family move over the weekend. Not my ideal long weekend, no time to play tourist -- in Texas of all places! Cowboys, drawls and authentic Tex Mex food, I'll make do.

    That's a hard one. I've got good friends out east and I've got friends that I haven't met in Texas. Probably Texas this time.

    I prefer to go places I can drive to , just too controlling to rely on someone else for transportation. However I did just fly out to Philly and back in January I flew out to Denver and it was totally worth it !

    My boyfriend and I usually use such time slots to drive to Colorado, Idaho, or Utah. 🌲🏞 🌃 From our rural location, flying anywhere is pretty much an eight-hour ordeal, so not worth it for a short chunk of time.

    I go to the Ozarks since it is an easy trip down the road and do float trips, birding and kayak a lot. I stay with the Byrds.

    Four Days? I could go a lot of places. Portland would be nice, Seattle ooh yes. Seafood and music. Vancouver. Never been. I would absolutely have some fun there. For four days I would have make it a short flight or a drive where the journey was part of the adventure and not to long. I just may use the 4 day premis as a basis for my summer trips.

    Since I live in the LA area and Cabo San Lucas is only 2 hours away I have taken quite a few 4 day trips there over the years. Good times, great tequila, golf, sun, and ummm senorita's abound.

    I'm lucky to have family in Florida and New Orleans so it's easy to have a nice short getaway! Next month I'm taking a full week California vacation for the first time ever, and that's what I'm super psyched about. 🌊🌊🌞
