Is there a way for me to search by username?The only search function I see is the filtered search. I have a person's username, but I do see were to enter the user name to look up her profile.
No, there isn't.
The very clunky workaround is to use
https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/forum/profile/comments/username
and IF they have posted in the forum, you can get to their profile that way. But the vast majority of members have never posted.
All you can do is Search using as many criteria as you know or can narrow down, then trawl through the results. In particular, select 'Active in the past ....' otherwise you'll end up with hundreds of ancient dead accounts to go through.

Another workaround is in the forum search to type "username" to find times they've been mentioned and click on their profiles from there. This can be helpful if you only remember a partial username - for instance, if you only remembered the "faery" part of my username:
You could also try saying their name three times in succession like Beetlejuice. Seems to work for some site members but not all

@FriendlyFemale has the correct answer. But I think that only works for the ones who haven’t figured out how to make their profile private. Which is probably quite a few people here given the kind of questions that are asked.
@g_w_t_w Truthfully I'm not the biggest candy fan don't eat much sweets but when I do I love some good ice cream and cheesecake! Now if I'm at a place where they make their own candy I will eat the hell out of some salted butter toffee! Or a good peanut butter cup !
