If they visit my profile multiple times, I reach out. I've only done this a few times but, I mean, if you're going to keep coming by without saying HI, it should be allowed for me to say, hey are you stalking me? 😄 But I absolutely don't expect them to book a session and I'm definitely not soliciting, just think it's funny. 😊
I don’t mind when pros randomly contact me. It’s not very often they come at me with a sales pitch. They will usually just say thanks for visiting their profile. It’s definitely nicer when the message is personalized and it’s not an obvious copy and paste.
@Andrew_1 maybe that’s just the culture in your area.
@starrynitecuds If broke, I would engage with the $125/hr. Pro whilst sprinkling our conversation with inquiries about discounts or coupons until she finally gets frustrated and blocks me, by which time, I've basically gotten a free virtual out of it.
And, by the way, if you play the country music song backwards, the dog comes back, the horse comes back, and the wife comes back.
Or it's just a message from Beelzebub.
@Unscented_Lemon Nah I'll say hell to the oh my to everyone I see. It's quite the embarrassment to my more introverted friends
I also like learning about other customs from other countries and people of different backgrounds because it opens up my viewpoints and capacities.
For example, when I traveled abroad and went into a shop, I was told that you were supposed to say hi & with eye contact to the Shop owner first or it is considered very rude and unbecoming behavior. The person I was traveling with laughed because I do this anyway. No one puts Sunshine in the corner. 😂
And it’s little things like that that you learn about different cultures and customs, but on this website, the culture and custom is to be, able to have the capacity of understanding and companionship which involves communication at some point in various degrees.
If I cause anyone duress with my humor, thoughts or outreach, I WILL be the first to apologize but also maybe they should apologize to me first since we cannot all read, read minds or clearly communicate kindly and with intention.
@Andrew_1 did not make this suggestion so this is not directed at him.
The suggestion that we should "report" Pros who reach out and ask you if you might be interested in a cuddle is absolutely ridiculous. Where is the harm in Pro Cuddlers reaching out to members of cuddling site?
You can block them [although that seems equally ridiculous to me] or be an adult and just say "Hey I'm not interested right now but I will reach out if any thing changes and I would like to set up an appointment." The point is you have options.
Running to the Moderators/Administrators looking to report people is seriously getting out of hand.
Many Pros have eloquently weighed in on this topic and I think the idea of reporting people as if they have done some awful thing is truly overkill.
@feisty I agree with you.
@FriendlyFemale I also agree with you. When I reach out to a pro, I always get a reply because it’s just common courtesy I believe. Which they follow because they are operating their own business.
Not always the same with enthusiast regardless if it’s reaching out to say you have a cool picture in your profile or I want to get to know you better to see if we connect to cuddle. Some people just do not reply back no matter what. Also from what I’ve read the female enthusiast get bombarded with messages so they don’t get to all of them.
I am also very visually orientated and older with depression. The last part has really messed with my memory as of late. If I see an interesting picture with a cool background or sometimes distinctive clothing, I will check them out. Sometimes IIf I see an interesting picture with a cool background or sometimes distinctive clothing, I will check them out. Sometimes I forget I check them out. After reading someone’s reply back that gets a lot of hits on their profile with no message or anything. I reply back now if I realize I’ve seen the person before. Or if they said something interesting in the forum, which does not show the pink P for professional.
I get a message from a pro I haven’t looked at their profile before maybe once a month. If I’m interested I’ll write back, if not I don’t. Doesn’t seem to be such a big deal.
@BrianOcean
The suggestion that we should "report" Pros who reach out and ask you if you might be interested in a cuddle is absolutely ridiculous.
While I agree that reporting can be overdone, there are pros who do this habitually and persistently. I'm not offended when it happens, but it is against the rules that the owner of the site made.
In all the times it's happened to me I think I've reported it once. I had said no, had reasons for not wanting to block, and she kept it up.
As for reporting in general, rule violations should be reported. We are all guests here, and there's usually a reason behind the rules, whether we understand it or not.
We all joined this community voluntarily, and we all stated agreement to the rules.
@JoyfulHeart
I completely agree anyone pestering a member with repeated solicitation would warrant some type of response/penalty.
My only point is that there should be a distinction between such obvious annoying harassment and a simple introduction.
I would guess many a cuddle session have been initiated by a Pro reaching out to say Hello and inquire if their services were needed.
It’s not a big deal. You are on a site loaded with pros looking for business.
Maybe @Andrew_1 is so handsome that pros can’t help themselves.
@CuddleDuncan good to know. I use the “Hide Pros” option in the search filter option, so 🤷🏼♂️. I didn’t realize they weren’t supposed to be essentially doing “cold calls”, but had never looked into it stopped once I put the request that they not reach out for solicitation at the top of my profile.
I on the rare occasion will message someone who has looked at my profile multiple times, If I read their profile and they mention that they do not mind being contacted-
And when I do this/ I always greet the person and comment on something I read on their profile or a photo that I like.
I would never request a cuddle from someone who didn’t first initiate.
Best advice was from whoever said, don’t click on any Pro’s profiles, if you don’t want them looking at you then don’t look at them. Oh but wait you like to look at them lol If this is the worst thing that is happening to you, consider yourself lucky. Now, OP, find something else to complain about.
OP was not complaining but simply making a suggestion. Oh, and anyone in the community has the right to start a thread. Now, find something else to scroll past and NOT annoy anyone about.
I like it when pro's reach out and say high. It is usually because I'm surfing profiles and have paid them a visit.
@FriendlyFemale lol
@TxTom
Winner winner, chicken dinner! 🏆 Seriously, it's brilliant for a free sesh. (Thanks for bringing the dog back to life. 😁)
@starrynitecuds I just read your post and it made me go look at @TxTom post. That was great.
I've only reached out to people if they've repeatedly looked at my profile (like more than three or four times, especially in a short span of time) to see if they had any questions. I've also sent a couple messages just to compliment something on their profile. Hopefully that's not considered inappropriate. I never chase down clients, I think it's tacky (besides the obvious matter of it being prohibited.) Like being a lawyer who's an ambulance chaser. 🤣
@Bear His response was 🔥🔥. Perfect 10 in the Laugh Olympics. ( @TxTom and I get along well enough on the forums, because when we don't agree, we take it to DM here. We don't make a public display of our arguments or invite others to flame away. He's tolerant, respectful and has never called me a derogatory name. Even though I probably deserved it once or twice.)
@starrynitecuds Ooh do me next do me !
@starrynitecuds May I ask how you deal with him when he's being intolerant?
@pmvines your responses are 💩. I mean that 💯. Your memes are 🔥. Yes, we disagree all the time, but off the forums, and between puppies, kitties, you're beautiful MF, and other hilarious videos. I'm not sure we've ever hammered out a truce, but we still laugh and respect each other enough to share views and death metal.
Aw, that is so sweet and honest starry. I love that. Posts like that are as good as it gets. Also funny.
@Unscented_Lemon When he's intolerant of my viewpoint? Or when I'm intolerant of his viewpoint? We agree to disagree.
@starrynitecuds When he's intolerant of you.
@Unscented_Lemon you missed my final answer. "We agree to disagree."
@starrynitecuds That answer was in regards to if either of you doesn't like the views of the other. That includes if he views you as a lesser person or refuses to believe who you are? If he's intolerant not of your view but of you yourself?
