@FriendlyFemale, thank you for sharing! That is too cool!
@JustPlaneCuddle 😉 and thanks for sharing yours. Yours sound useful, too. I'll check those out when I get home.
Upside is a great app. It's easy to save money (by getting cash back) on gas, groceries, restaurants, etc. They also give you bonus money and extra cents off gas when you refer someone. I'm so low tech, and it's easy to use again and again 😁
I know this is an old thread, but I’ll give another vote for YNAB. It costs money, but as a person who doesn’t make much money (for a few more months at least), I would absolutely not be able to survive without YNAB. I think it’s legitimately worth at least $150 per year for me.
I have a ton of apps I use regularly which are probably standard at this point: FB, YouTube, alarms, email, google maps, etc.
My hearing aid app is probably one of the most non-standard apps I use. Helps me do all sorts of special things with my bionic ears.
Two good ones that I constantly use without even thinking about it.
Aegis Authenticator It's like Google Authenticator (generates six-digit one-time passwords), but it isn't Google.
Colornote Text notes and checklists. I have a note on there that just has my email address, because it's not easy to spell. I have a shopping list checklist. I add things to it as I think of them (because I have my phone with me much more than paper and pen), and try to remember to look at the list when I go shopping.
Lemon, I agree...colornote is definitely helpful with the grocery lists.
Procreate is easier to use and much cheaper than Photoshop depending on your creative needs.
Ok! So ADHD mind over here i absolutely love this app called goblin tools 😆 ( https://apps.apple.com/us/app/goblin-tools/id6449003064 ) It’s made for spicy neurodivergents Several things it does are 1. It helps break down tasks so you don’t get overwhelmed trying to break them down yourself. Example: you type. Clean your bed. You get: A. take off all items pillows and sheets B.wash all bedding items C. Vacuum/clean mattress D.replace pillows/bedding E. Remake bed neatly
Yes it’s something you can do yourself but sometimes having the tasks broken down really helps keep you on task and not get overwhelmed plus there are spicy levels so you can pick and choose exactly how detailed you want your tasks to be.
Another thing it does is help you figure out food When you were stuck, trying to figure out what you can eat, you put in the ingredients you have and they will generate a recipe that you can use to make a meal!
One other thing I love that they have on here is called the judge. You put in what you want to say and it will tell you how your tone is whether it sounds condescending or rude, which I find helpful because sometimes people with ADHD and autism tend to not realize, what they say until it’s too late the judge can be used for when You’re trying to figure out how to phrase the start of a big talk. (Photo added for example)
They have several other tools on their app, which are really cool also but these three are my favorites 😁
