Sorry to hear about that . It sounds like you gave her a great life and I’m sure she appreciates being part of your family
What a sweet looking kitty - I’m so sorry for your loss
So sorry for your loss of your fur baby. It’s been decades since I have lost my pets (cat and dog), and they both are still in my heart. Since then, I’ve been adopted by friends’ pets, and they’d kept me entertained for rubs, snuggles, playing, conversations, and walks. They would watch for me to arrive when they know I am enroute to visit. Like myself some parent would keep their loved pet’s favorite toy, and some may retain their ashes in cremation urns. I am sorry Jaka has passed on, But if you look real hard---you'll see her spirit is still here watching you in some form! I believe that the spirit of your loved ones passes from one body to another! In my case--if I lose a dog--or any to to of a whole host of animals I have as pets---I believe their soles pass to crows--or some other living being of significance (it could even be a newly planted tree). Not everyday--but occasionally I see a crow staring at me and I will look in its eyes and see the soul of an animal of fine that recently passed! Nothing will every replace jaka but her spirit will remain with you forever! When ready--adopt o homeless one!
I'm so sorry ❤️
So very, very sorry to hear. Losing a pet ranks right up there as one of the most difficult trials in life. They provide a presence which can be unmatched. Maybe there's a bit of comfort in knowing the pain you feel comes from the same place as the extraordinary care you had to provide the best, most wonderfully full life possible for her. ...and somehow, I feel like they can sense that
@SweetCuddler33 every so often, our household has had to do that final vet trip with a cat. It's always heartbreaking, but there's some comfort knowing that those pets have all had long, happy, loving lives that they might not otherwise have had.
I’m sorry for your loss. Big hugs!
Raising my fuzzy, insane cat saved my life when I was learning to live with an empty nest. His wispy little crazy antics, his little cuddles, and his outsized meow kept me grounded.. And I am grateful that his weird, anti-social little self (he had to have his own cage in the pet store! lol) came into my life. He was willing to receive alllll of the love and caring I still had!
When he passed, I quietly thanked him for his long years of faithful service. I told him how very grateful I was for alllll that he brought into my life, and I told him I understood that he had to move on..
Sending you soft hearts and fuzzy hugs... and I hope you give yourself the time and grace you need to find peace with this loss. Your grief is valid.
@Fematheist thank you 🙏 ❤️ I’m sorry for your loss
I’m so sorry hun. Loosing our pets is the worst thing every hang in there and sending lots of love.
@SweetCuddler33 ~ it gets better. In fact, if I were to be honest about it, having my beloved, fuzzy maniac in my life helped me to become a much better human being. It's funny how that happens...
