My face says it all. It’s not a Ducati, I could be allergic. 😂

  • Here are a couple current projects. I'll have to dig out some pics of past finished cars.

@TR23~ Somehow, knowing that makes it even MORE powerful!! Thank you for sharing how your Dad's kindness blessed another person's life with us! :) I can only hope that somehow, some way, my life touches the lives of others in so positive a way!

@SunshineHug~ Beautiful, sleek, sun-kissed... Oh, and the bike is nice, too! :) It's wise for us to be honest about our areas of growth... LOVE the up-turned exhaust (I'd probably have chronic thigh burns!!), but I LOVE the concept of "Big Girl Bikes"!!!!
"Who you gonna call?" sprang IMMEDIATELY to mind!! lololol
Hahahahaha!! Duct-ati!!! lololol Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do!

Now, you KNOW who came to mind when I read "Super Dump"!! lolol I'm looking at you, @pmvines!!! lololol
Oooh... Is THAT what you're planning to do next?? NICE!!

@Rsr1967~ I. AM. A. FAN!!!! That "Celestial White" Monster!!! Wooooo!!! Please, PLEASE, dig out and share your other pics!!! :)

Now "The Memory Remains" has, happily, gotten STUCK IN MY HEAD, on replay!!! Yes!!!! lololol

This turned out EVEN BETTER THAN EXPECTED!!!! My Summer Car & Bike Show addiction is WELL PLEASED!!!

    Any more?? :)

  • I had a 79 V8 black Camaro while in grad school for a few years; I don’t have any pictures though. Loved it, but the 8.4 mi/gal still made this broke student to ride a bike a few days per week…!
Then a few years ago I got a 72 Honda CB750 - the symbol of the “muscle bikes”

  • I ended selling it and getting a bike with similar retro style but modern technology - a CB1100. Pics are the day I bought, and last month at a fundraising.

  • I like anything with wheels

  • [Deleted User]Fematheist (deleted user)

@Maverick07~ YOU HAVE A HORSE. Fluttering heart, over here!!! :)
    Okay...breathe...relax...
You DO understand that the "cool factor" of a '79 V8 Black Camaro completely outweighed the importance of fuel economy, right? lolol
I have to admit that I have never seen a bike quite like the orange one. It looks Spartan, almost harsh... Like a no-nonsense, "get your @ss on here and ride" sort of thing...
Fanning my pearls... Nice new...um...bike! lol LOVE the vest AND the matching tie & pocket puff! Elegant! Those front pipes are some serious chrome-ology!!!

@Allen1974~ NEW CONCEPT UNLOCKED: CUDDLE CAMPER!!!! YAAAY!!
I'm learning things, here. There must have been a movement in the Bike World, where there was a trend toward more efficient, tighter, cleaner-looking bikes...
That last one looks almost like a competition piece... Is that you? Nice!!!

  • @SunshineHug Omg that red Ducati 916 is giving me Akira poster vibes 😍😍😍

  • This was my ride today

  • @Fematheist The first bike is a 76 Yamaha Dt 250. The second is a 1970. Kawasaki 500cc 2stroke3cyl. They were as fast as the hemi cuda from that period. The 3rd is a 1974 Hodaka super combat mx race bike. 1 year only.
The cuddle camper is a 69 Ford Econoline, the body was hand built by an aircraft mechanic. It is also a muscle van. I installed a 500hp Ls3 from a Chevy trailblazer SS. With 4l7oe trans, front disc conversion, electric power steering assist. I still need to do the wiring radiator , custom drive shaft.

  • @Morpheus I have that one!! I'm also working on decking out my power chair

  • [Deleted User]Fematheist (deleted user)

@Morpheus and @Runawaycuddles ~ Okay, now!!! Really?? lololol

While I have a deep, genuine appreciation for both of your creativity and photographic skills, this thread is for...um... cars and bikes, okay? lol Y'all gon' havta go make a scooter chair thread to showcase y'all's power chairs!!! lololol

@Allen1974 ~ I honestly have no idea of what all that meant, but it SOUNDS amazing!!! Um... When you get the wiring and drive shaft stuff done, I'm thinking you'll probably have to come over here...so I can give it a Cuddle Inspection and sign off on its legitimacy as a Cuddle Camper!!! LOVE it! :)

@Fematheist haha thank you. I have an appreciation for engines of all kinds.
The farm dirt bikes were my beginning era and still a fave.
Street and track bikes are beautiful art on wheels.
My uncles rebuilt Harley’s and cruisers.
I think I grew up part feral bike rat.
I’d love to ride more but these California highways are absolutely wrecked during all this construction.
Used to have a Triumph motorcycle too 😻 and when I would wear the black Triumph Motorcycles hat, it was read as “Trump”. 😭
Dude ruined my hat BUT not the bike so much because it was yellow and black CUTIE lil whip.

  • @Runawaycuddles I really love the signature Ducati red.

He’s a pretty cool anime artist, one of my family members follows him, I think he uses mostly red.

  • @Fematheist 🤣🤣🤣

    @SunshineHug It's gorgeous!!

  • [Deleted User]Fematheist (deleted user)

@SunshineHug~ I CAN'T WAIT TO SHOW THIS TO MY FELLA!!! He's gonna be delighted!!!! Thanks for sharing this!!! You were fortunate to have builders and fabricators for uncles!! It's soooo important to a young one's development to have creatives around--and active-- in her life.. Sooo fortunate!

While I don't go anywhere NEAR politics, but I'm glad that your bike wasn't ruined the way your hat was! lol And your self-identifying as a "feral bike rat" cracked me completely up!!! It goes alllll the way through, doesn't it? :)

But wait!! Did you folks check out the "Duct-ati" in @SunshineHug 's earlier post??? lolol

  • @Fematheist great topic, it’s nice to see so many enthusiasts!
I still have a little farm but no horses - my profile pic is definitely bittersweet to me.
I knew about the Camaro’s cool factor - in fact, a cop said that to me when he was about to give me a ticket (and he didn’t do it! 😎).
My first CB color is called Orange Sunset. I looked for that specific model for a long time! The problem was that I couldn’t find a shop to do the maintenance (and my mechanical skills are zero).
I do like my current bike. Great balance of looks, performance and comfort. I dressed up for the “Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride”, a global event for men’s mental health and prostate cancer (light blue is the color for it).
    Cheers and huge hugs!

@Maverick07 ~ This has been A TOTAL, EYE-CANDY BLAST!!! Our fellow Motorheads SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OUT with these awesome pics!!! I've had a ball, but think it's run its course, so I'll just steal all of the pictures for screen savers and leave this thread to its rest! lol

My heart goes out to you for the bittersweet experience of no longer having your horse. I've always loved them, but have never owned one. Glad you did!
See? I told you that the Camaro Coolness had real-world value! Glad you skated, on it, right out of that ticket! lolol
Thank you for sharing about the worthy cause of the "Distinguished Gentleman's Ride"---- that was definitely worth riding for! :)

:) :) :) THANKS, FOLKS, FOR POSTING AND PARTICIPATING!!! YOUR BEAUTIFUL, BAD*SS MACHINES HAVE MADE FOR A MONSTER THREAD!!! :) :) :)

  • @Fematheist i am loving 🥰 this thread.

Also if you want the best gift for a creative wrencher……. It’s the rolling seat CAT utility cart. Never sit on the concrete floor again!

Best 60 bucks I ever spent.

  • [Deleted User]Fematheist (deleted user)

@SunshineHug ~ You have been a HUGE JOY in it, too!! Thank you for sharing with us!! :)

You have now blessed my life... That thing even has a tool drawer in it!!!! My fella's birfday << is coming up, soon, and he's going to get a very special gift! :) No more "concrete tailbone callouses" for him!!! lololol

  • I can go from fast to slow easy. Here is a 1959 Jeep I restored a few years. About 55 mph is about all you want to run it
Jeep never tilted the cab but I made it tilt.
I sold it a few years ago.

@PeopleLikeUs ~ I was trying, unsuccessfully, to describe the art you posted, earlier in the thread, to my fella! Thank you for adding another Banger collection!!! I can't wait to show this thread to him!!! :)

@waynewv~ First, I have to tell you that I have "Garage Envy," from one of your earlier posts! lol Then, I have to tell you that your Fabrication Skilz NEVER cease to amaze me!!! I realllly did steal the lightning pic of Big Blue for a screen saver, and I think the "Wayne's World" lettering under the driver window kind of sums up what you've got going on!!!

Special shout out to the driveway alarm stretched across your amazingly clean driveway!!! LOVE your faithfulness to the 50's motif!!!

I CANNOT WAIT to show all of these to my favorite Motorhead when he gets some time to fool with me!!! lolol

    THANKS, FOLKS!!! :)

@Fematheist wrote, "@HarleyGirlKate~ May I take a moment and just honor YOU for just how very grateful I am that you LIVE???? Listen to you!!! "Engine displacement"??? DO THAT DAMNED THANG!! And with that sissy bar, YOU HAVE NOW DECLARED WAR!!!! hahahaha!!! But hey, sharing the utilitarian value of your trike kind of takes away from the badassery of the...well...um.. nevermind... lol :)"

OMG, you are fast turning into one of my favorite people on the forums! I hear you about badassery and grocery-based utilitarianism not mixing vis-a-vis bikes, but in all fairness it is a really good trunk. 😁

At the risk of further dispelling the Milwaukee Iron-based badassery vibe thingie, I have to say that not only does my dagger sissy bar make me feel very cool indeed, and my passengers like it, but it also serves nicely for my big travel bag that I use sometimes for ... more groceries.

Ragnar, the very masculine machine spirit who lives in my Sportster, doesn't mind the travel bag so much or even the groceries, but he gets really pissed with how I like to stow my purse when I ride. 🤣

And check out all the groceries I brought home with Ragnar's help!

Loving all of the cars, trucks, bikes, art, and muscular, stylish, sleek, talented, and smart people in this thread, who are all each awesome in their own ways.

  • [Deleted User]Fematheist (deleted user)

Hahahahahaha!!! HOW DARE YOU???? lololol NOT THE PURSE ON THE BARS????? lololol SACRILEGE!!!!! lololol AND THE BACK DAGGER, TOO?? hahahaha!!!

There, there, Ragnar... I know... :)

@HarleyGirlKate ~ You have DEFINITELY found a fan, over here! And I agree about the grooooviness of BOTH the machines AND the people who've so gloriously contributed to the rather MONSTER thread!!!

When my day's been long, I come here... drool on the pictures... laugh, and feel better! Glad to have you here--- even with all your nutritious looking groceries!!! lololol

Haha ... I thought of you today when I was out with Ragnar buying celery juice, salmon, and such. 🥕🍅🫑

Yes, the things poor Ragnar puts up with, but at the same time I take good care of him maintenance-wise and feed him high octane gas, sweet tires, and synthetic oil, so I think he's fine. Plus we bond a lot out on the twisting mountain roads near where I live. So much fun feeling the adrenaline as my favorite machine spirit and I have a non-stop conversation and I laugh and yell at the joy of yet again feeling like my bike and I are one.

What a thread you created. This by far my favorite CC thread so far in the five or so months I've been here.

Here is a picture I took the other day of a protective bell that was given to me (as traditionally it should be) to put on my trike, Rollo. I consecrated it and tied it on the other day.

  • Set your eyes on this bad boy, oh baby :D

  • Nice bicycle! That seat looks a little painful though. 😁
