FAKE 1 STAR KARMA?! HOW DO I RESPOND?!

I received several booking requests from a certain possible male cuddler for my services but after he was thoroughly and fairly vetted I declined his requests due to several factors that I felt as a female professional cuddler raised more than one red flag in regards to my personal safety. So I very nicely and politely declined his requests and now he has left a FAKE 1 STAR KARMA on my profile that stated: "no show. 2nd time" and then within minutes he completely deleted his CC account!
I promptly reported the Karma as a false statement to CC and they still haven't done anything about it!
I'm just wondering if anyone could help me out by sending me some sort of very professional example or template of a response to post in reply to his false claims?!

  • My guess is a Mod will get to this shortly.

Could you clear up what seems to be a big red flag in your profile? You state your husband is NOT SUPPORTIVE of your activity. You have your pics available to anyone. Is there a safety issue for a guy hosting you at his home or a motel?

  • [Deleted User]WriterGF (deleted user)

If you kept your communications on site, mods will be able to verify that you turned down the booking and remove the karma.

  • @LionsFan thats the biggest red flag if i ever seen one. I'm not usually that concerned but the way it's stated makes me want to stay far away.

  • Avoid. Don't risk an irate husband showing up on your doorstep.

  • @hgrubbs95 Be patient. The admin here are volunteers and not on duty 24/7. It should be easy since you vetted him via site DM and nothing was ever scheduled, so you didn't give out your off-site contact info. I'm sure once they read your communication with him, they'll proceed accordingly.

  • @LionsFan
I did not read the profile so I am glad you shared that info in this thread

    @hgrubbs95

While I do commend you for being completely transparent about your HUSBAND who is NOT OKAY with you engaging in the intimate practice of cuddling- [No red flag there-I'm sure] You simply have to be more self aware.

I don't know your husband but cuddling with other men is probably not in your best interest while you are married.
If he does decide to show up at a cudlle session-It is not you who has the safety issue.

It is truly astonshing how clueless guys can be. NEVER- EVER engage with a married woman unless you are totally prepared for all that can potentially come with it.

If her husband shows up at your house-He's not in the wrong-that's his wife-you're just a dumbass who clearly lacks wisdom and life experience.

I am now divorced-While I was married-You're definitely not cuddling my wife no matter how bad the relationship was.
If she signed up on a website and did it anyway - that would become your problem if you foolishly invite my wife to your home.

Guys should really smarten up and have a little respect.

Who ever this clown is who gave @hgrubbs95 a bad rating should probably take it back and be thankful it never happened. He may have gotten much more than cuddling.

  • I'm kind of hoping her profile is just badly worded. I'll wait for her response

(Moderator) This one will need more investigation since the booking was never cancelled and the convo regarding it was not on-site. (I only mention this since there is this forum post about it). Typically one reports it (as you did) without also bringing it to the forums.

Also if you are unsure about if you are able to attend a same-day booking, I highly recommend waiting to accept until after you have confirmation of your availability.

  • The plot thickens

  • A public post on the General forum brought her even more scrutiny. Or is this advertising?

  • [Deleted User]donhulio (deleted user)

I am curious @CharlieBear how mods handle situations where there is no on site evidence. Suppose that this situation was simplified, you have the bad karma, but the pro claims it's not true, but no one has evidence proving it true or false. Obviously a simplified scenario, but with 0 evidence, what would you do with a bad karma? Leave it or delete?

  • @BrianOcean

Guys should really smarten up and have a little respect.

    Bingo.

  • [Deleted User]WriterGF (deleted user)

If the situation as described in the profile is accurate, giving out contact info to a stranger instead of keeping the chat here might not have been the wisest move. Makes it much easier for someone to harass you.

  • [Deleted User]Fematheist (deleted user)

@LionsFan @BashfulLoner and @BrianOcean ~ There was a recounting on here, a while ago, where this very thing happened. And while ALLL cuddling is potentially dangerous to women, men definitely face a risk of being assaulted, robbed, or worse, in situations where husbands/spouses/partners have not given their consent to accepting the fact that their wives or girlfriends are participating in cuddling.. It seems unfair and potentially dangerous, to all involved, for someone to cuddle without her/his partner's acknowledgement and consent.

Having said that, I felt obligated to offer a defense for those of us who DO have our partner's consent, who DO abide by site rules, and who DO keep the majority of our interactions on the site until we've come to an agreement. If only one side is presented, without balancing, many people might walk completely away from some cuddlers, feeling that all of those in relationships are somehow a "danger," without examining any nuances..

Alllll choices have consequences. Karma isn't just a concept on this site.... It's Universal Law.

    @donhulio
If someone is in this situation and they can provide screenshots of the convo (where legal) that can be checked, that can help. Though people edit screenshots to remove incriminating texts (like requesting non-platonic extras) so it’s better to get the same convo from both to compare. In this case, since the person deleted their profile, that’s potentially suspicious since that usually means they left karma in retaliation after getting their non-platonic request denied (though I have absolutely no idea if that is the case here and try not to assume). The issue here is it looks legit since the session wasn’t cancelled and there is nothing to indicate any wrong doing from either party on the site messaging. I don’t think any pro wants to pay the site fee for a session they never received money for, so that is the head scratcher for me.

I would be inclined to leave it unless evidence is provided. Keeping the convo on-site about planning the booking (even if sending both on and off site) helps so we can at least see there was communication about it. It’s certainly easier to provide updates via text when one is on their way or last minute changes, but also sending on-site is ideal from our perspective.

  • @BrianOcean
Oh, I read that part of her profile as her husband not being on board with her interacting with clients via text on her personal line, not the actual cuddling part of it. Though I could definitely be wrong. Like cuddling as a pro is fine, but keep clients as clients, not friends.

  • What's the consensus, is this a #MeToo scam or is the client a toxic creep?

  • edited July 2024

From my limited exposure to it, it seems the client didn’t read the profile well enough to know not to make a same day booking, and the pro accepted while not realizing their personal plans could cause a delay. It would be nice to see how it was discussed as the time approached.

  • @BrianOcean while i absolutely agree with the sentiment you have regarding not liking or wanting your wife to be cuddling with others. Especially if that is shared with the partner. But i would suggest, that i wouldn't show up to another man's home, if your partner went there on there own, thinking you are right. I agree that the spouse shouldn't do that but if they do, it doesn't go be any right to storm the capital. That energy might be met with an equal and opposite reaction. Probably not equal because he's at home and has home court advantage. Unless your Liam Neesans....

  • Well, I keep wondering - how would the husband even know the address of the client’s home to be able to show up at it?
Sounds like a lot of dumb mistakes and asking for problems being the cause of that happening.

@g_w_t_w Not to be overly dramatic, but he could follow her or hire someone to follow her, plant an Air Tag, etc. Depends on the person, how jealous he is, and if he suspects something non-platonic is going on.

  • This thread is really getting comical and someone just tuning in and not reading the whole thread is apt to think I am married and my wife is deceitfully cuddling with other men.

I have to throw @LionsFan under the bus on this one as he started it all with his reading of the OP's profile.
In all seriousness-it gave some much needed context in my opinion.

@Fematheist -Extremely well put and I completely agree consenting married adults are much different than one spouse meeting people to cuddle while the other spouse is not happy about it.
Personally-I leave married people alone and while I have no doubt about your sincerity-that your spouse approves--I have no desire to cuddle another man's wife-It just seems off to me-No judgement whatsoever-Just my gut feeling.

@BashfulLoner -We can debate whether the husband is right to show up at the house-the point that is clearly not debateable is YOUR DUMB [not you personally @BashfulLoner] for having his wife at your home.
I don't support storming any one's castle but if you knowingly choose to engage with a man's wife-I would expect you may be getting a visit.
That's obviously not the kind of Cuddle Session most of us would be seeking.

FYI- Neither me nor my EX WIFE ever cuddled outside of marriage- To my knowledge

  • I don't support storming any one's castle but if you knowingly choose to engage with a man's wife-I would expect you > may be getting a visit.
That's obviously not the kind of Cuddle Session most of us would be seeking.

Yeah, that would be the kind of session involving lots of paperwork and probably a few police reports ... those are no fun at all.

  • close the account and open a new one with a slightly different username. keep it simple......

    @BrianOcean my bad

@Jack62 good idea, I bet the guy already has. Isn't such a move a banable offense for either party ?

  • @hgrubbs95 You could cleanup your image by posting responses.

    1. Are you doing this against your husband's wishes?

    2. If he's OK with cuddling, does this apply equally to the overnights you offer? What about dating type public activities? Have you considered running into family or colleagues?

Full disclosure. I have cuddled in motel rooms with married women. In both cases, the husbands were fully aware. In each case, brief phone calls were held and each lady acknowledged she was with [my firstname]. I shouted hello. A bit strange but normal for them.

  • OVERNIGHTS with a HUSBAND who does not want you cuddling.

    What could go wrong?

@LionsFan is truly a Man among Men

Before we start our cuddling session-I have to call my Husband-Please say Hello to him- Not Awkward at all.
Turns out her husband was Wayne Fontes

@LionsFan -The real question is- Would you get a motel with @hgrubbs95

    Now the plot REALLY thickens.

  • Sounds like a of chaos in the life of the OP.
There’s also chaos around the one star reviewer who then deletes himself.

I have no problem cuddling with a married person but it is at a red flag if their spouse doesn’t like her interactions with men. Is that what she meant? It’s hard to understand what she means unfortunately. Which, as Charlie mentioned, might be why the one star reviewer left the review he did.

  • @BrianOcean my recollection is the calls were necessary interruptions halfway through our second cuddles. I was in the dark the first time we met but was given a heads up during the first session

  • @BrianOcean The problem with married cuddles is we only get one side of the story.

I had one regular cuddler in 2018 who had a boyfriend. He was the one who thought he set her boundaries. She merely told him what he wanted to hear. I had a nearly identical experience with a Bi-sexual gal whose GF negotiated boundaries that lasted only until she arrived at the room.

Now that I'm on this platonic site, and older and wiser, this stuff is a distant memory.
