  • @OhioMike I appreciate your input. I think I mentioned this in another reply, but part of my goal with this thread was to bring some attention to this issue and also talk about possible solutions. It’d be great if we could find ways to either make professional cuddling more affordable or somehow encourage more enthusiast women to join the site.

  • @BigAndCuddly27 I agree. I think it's fine to discuss this and wish negative put-downs would not be posted.

    @BigAndCuddly27
No talking about an issue doesn't make it a pity party . Ignoring something that is bothersome is not good . What's worse though is wallowing and staying stuck in the problem, and shooting down anything to the contrary as pointless. Living in the negative is very much rampant on this site,.and people fail to realize how much they shoot themselves in both feet.

I didn't say that you are being negative or said anything to personally criticize you . If you took it that way, it was not the intent of my post .

    @achetocuddle
If you are referring to my opinion as a negative put down, it's certainly not meant that way. Not saying something that aligns and echos others should not be seen as negative. I'm not a syrupy, agreeable at all.costs individual, and there is nothing wrong with that .

We ALMOST made it to page two in a men's thread before the shaming and invalidating started. Progress! Speak your truth.

Your feelings are valid my friend. I’m a DM away if you ever want someone to chat with.

  • @pmvines thank you for your response. I’m glad you clarified what you meant a bit. My hope is that this thread raises awareness for a very real issue. It’s difficult because no one is doing anything “wrong” here (not in general at least haha). People come here to cuddle, and due to the imbalance of men/women on the site, it creates an easily profitable system. So it’s not surprising that has become the main interaction is that of pro and enthusiast. I guess what I’m hoping to get from this thread is, like I said, awareness that this is an issue that men face here. I would prefer to get a polite message back from someone telling me they aren’t looking for cuddling at the moment or just aren’t interested than to be completely ignored, which I think is the boat most men are in.

If anybody feels shamed due to my opinion that there are lots of people on the site who are spinning their wheels and seem happy with their misery then I apologize for that . I am making a general statement about my long term observations of the mindsets of many on the site , and am not directing any of my comments at anyone in particular who are on this thread.

It is indeed true that there are many people who would much rather complain and have no desire to change or accept advice or input, and have zero desire to hear about positive experiences from others. Misery indeed loves company . If you want to stand out and at least have a fighting chance on this site, then don't wallow.amd live in the negative . Don't pity yourself or seek it out . And don't be mad at others who don't share your opinions or experiences . This is my opinion I am expressing. Expressing this does not mean that I am saying that anybody in particular on this thread is of a certain way . If you feel I am targeting you , please use that opportunity to ask yourself why you feel it applies . As I said before, good luck .

  • @BigAndCuddly27

I’ve been on this site for a long time and I’ve never cuddled an enthusiast. I have had some amazing experiences with pros, been given free hours, free sessions, have hung out with some socially. I have seen some pros that I’ve developed some genuine friendships with. There’s one pro who I text back and forth with almost all day every day. I think if I put forth more of an effort looking for an enthusiast, I probably would have succeeded eventually but in all honestly, it was easy to find pros so I never put forth much of an effort. I don’t cuddle pros as much anymore due to the price hikes but it’s always an option. I’ve also had luck cuddling with females I’ve met in other ways. I can’t tell you what the right way for you is but I’m sure you’ll figure it out if you keep at it whether it be on cuddle comfort or somewhere else.

  • Have I been ghosted/stood up by pros and enthusiasts alike? Yes.

Do I have countless messages that have been ignored? Also yes.

But I have also met some awesome enthusiasts and pros alike, so with the drudgery and rejection of reaching out, there have been those who reached back and that has made it overall worth it for me for sure.

  • @BigAndCuddly27 He always does that. Every time anyone mentions not being able to find a cuddle partner, or not being able to afford a pro cuddler, he makes them feel like crap and in a very sanctimonious manner I might add.
You get used to it. The best approach is to just ignore him.
Can you imagine over 5 years of it? hahahah! Its wild.

@BigAndCuddly27 Ghosting is, unfortunately, the norm these days. People do not feel any obligation to strangers on the Internet. As the folks in the job market thread can tell you, most employers ghost job candidates these days as well. As I am sure you already know, your message to an enthusiast could be fantastic and right on point, but also be #1001 of 1001 she has received and she will simply never see it.

  • This seems to have become mostly a de facto site for female Pros.

@SeekerInVA Supply and demand. There aren't, and never were, enough enthusiast women for all the men on here. Take away pros and very few guys on this site would be getting any cuddling at all.

  • Sometimes you find what you want when you're not looking for it.

Sometimes you can search so intently for something that you just never find it.

  • I've cuddled both pros and enthusiasts through this website. Both types of cuddler have given me very positive and genuine experiences.

  • [Deleted User]SonarEcho (deleted user)

My experience has been is that there are no women enthusiasts on this site. My interactions have been with professionals only. Mostly positive. However, there have been professonl cuddle sessions which turned out to be disasters.

@pmvines, There's nothing wrong with stating a reality of this site. There is nothing strange about having a decent attitude and self confidence. It is not a matter of luck. It's a matter of maturity and how you handle any situation as a man.

  • Enthusiast here who only cuddles with other enthusiasts. No pro. But it’s a challenge to find another enthusiast who responds or doesn’t delete their account

  • [Deleted User]Nick4Cuddling (deleted user)

The site is a joke. A roll of the dice.

Its a business scheme. Pros pay fees to a small group.

They really don't care about quality after that.

  • @Nick4Cuddling

    The site is a joke.

What does that mean? The site has no sway over whether someone chooses to be an enthusiast or a Pro.

I, too, would like to experience enthusiast cuddles, but haven't so far. But I'm not going to make a big deal over it.

Until then, I've met some great Pros and have had wonderful experiences with all of them.

    @TxTom

That's an expression I use when I want to laugh at something, in this case because of how sloppy it is. But ratings come to mind, lack of clarity or expectations/guidence on rates, abuse of site with lack of true accountability with banned users easily coming back. People keep pro status that never book all also come to mind.

If you get what you want out of it, fantastic. If youre like me and have been frustrated by it a time or to, the best thing to do is laugh making it a joke.

To be a pro, simply means you might charge and if you officially do it, you'll give the site owners a cut. Lets call a spade or spade the site exist to provide income for the owners and moderators, of course there are additional perks to being a member or pro, but we forget there is an owner that makes more than any pro.

In my experience to be an enthusiast means there more curiosity or other motives.

  • edited July 2024

Well, the site wasn't started to make money. There were no pros at the beginning. At some point they asked us if we wanted to allow pros. I voted yes because without it, the site was pretty useless.

It wasn't any easier, in my opinion, to find someone before pros then it is after.

I get that it's demoralizing and frustrating.

My take, after 48 years on this planet, is that I do whatever I can to make myself happy. The power is in my hands. I didn't see it that way for most of my life. Society tells you the exact opposite. But life is better since I realized I have to make myself happy, and I have no duty to make anyone else happy.

  • @Nick4Cuddling
This site only provides a channel of communication between potential cuddlers... and that's it. There is no implied guarantee of ever cuddling anyone through this site.

If you want to question the intent of some individuals on this site, then you would have a valid point, in those cases. But this site fulfills its stated purpose.

And of course this site makes money. Why shouldn't it? I know nothing of web development and maintenance, but I imagine it requires a lot of time, effort, and some expense. Why not profit from the endeavor? It's a perfectly legitimate enterprise.

@Nick4Cuddling So your feeling is the site should be a charity? Without income from pros, there would be no site. The alternative would be charging a membership fee. Do you want to pay that?

As far as motives go ... if someone can make money doing something they want to do anyway, why wouldn't they?

If you have recommendations about improving the quality of the site, let's hear them.

  • Moderators are volunteers.

@CuddleHugs01234 The moderators are not paid?

    Ouch.

So you're telling me the owner makes that much more?

@WriterGF @TxTom did you know similar to how men get the message to be appropriate every 30 days, female enthusiast get a message to become a pro? I could be wrong but is that not financial benifit to the owner.

Great work by the owner here. Seriously. He/she has a genius business model. Respectable. @TxTom you’ve been here for a bit how much have they made. How many people have been abused, groomed or trafficked- hopefully ZERO. Reality, more than. One. Its more than a communication tool. Help me understand why there is not more done to protect the vulnerable?

I come here to take my mind off other things and escape. Maybe to find and hour or two and be close to a stranger.

You can pile it on me if it helps you take your mind off the other things too. Happy to help.

  • [Deleted User]Nick4Cuddling (deleted user)

@BigAndCuddly27 sadly, the site discourages female enthusiast. If you are one you get spammed to be a pro. The owners want a few bucks EVERY time some one cuddles a pro that's been set by appointment. From there it appears they want to support a community, but simply an appearance and provide a communication in hopes people will get lucky. They have made decent money. I can't think of any noticeable upgrades since 2019, @TxTom can you?

  • @Nick4Cuddling Yes, I receive those messages periodically. No, I have no idea how much the site has made. It's really none of my business.

As I'm against any kind of human trafficking, I would hope for ZERO, as well, but that is naive. We should all work towards eliminating all human trafficking.

Unfortunately, very recent US government action has only caused trafficking to explode into a billion dollar business.

  • [Deleted User]WriterGF (deleted user)

I have never received a message about being appropriate, or met a pro who was talked into becoming one by the site. It takes five minutes for an enthusiast to join this site, look around, see other women are making money here and decide to try doing the same herself. I doubt encouragement from CC is needed.
