I consider myself old anyone that knows me knows that I’m hoping to turn 55 so that I can start eating off the senior menu
don’t make fun of old people didn’t seem appropriate to me.
don’t make fun of old people
didn’t seem appropriate to me.
@g_w_t_w I felt your response was inappropriate. I was making fun of one person in particular, not old people in general as you stated. I am sorry you can’t discern the difference. And the fact that I am older and someone jokes about me being old is not horrible, it means I can take a joke and not whine about it.
Think of it this way—as a lawyer you will hear lots of lawyer jokes. You choose whether to chastise everybody about telling lawyer jokes or take the classy route and laugh and then ask what else you got. I look at it that way being older—I just choose to laugh about it. Life’s too short to get upset about everything says about your demographic. Even the AARP prints old people jokes in their newsletter and older people are pretty much their entire customer base.
My opinion of you has completely changed and not in a good way. I didn’t bother to read your response, not valuable to me now.
@FunCartel_ if you had made fun of the other old guy there would not have been any offense taken. But I suspect you know that. But I could be wrong 🤞
I don’t take personal offense obviously but it’s not appropriate imo - especially on a cuddling site, on this day - to ridicule someone in that position. Just makes you sound like the other old man. I was frankly surprised. Let’s keep those kind of jokes away from CC. Ridiculing & name calling just makes the person doing it have less credibility.
@CharlieBear
Pros are required to specify that they cuddle everyone in that setting on their profile and they cannot be discriminatory in their bio or messaging. But ultimately they choose who they cuddle and they are not forced to cuddle anyone they do not want to.
So bottom line is pros are not required to not discriminate, they are only required to state that they don't.
@TheFunCartel
I think you made a wise career choice
@lonelytauros Where did you get that picture of me dancing, lol?
And regarding looking forward to 55 for the senior menu, it's good to have goals, lol.
@lonelytauros that’s a good laugh out loud one! 🤣
@g_w_t_w How dismissive to not read my response and judge. But then again I am not losing sleep over you, as my opinion has changed as well. You misrepresented what I said, the context and didn’t even bother to read my response. Not the type of person I care to please in any way because why? Your mind is already made up.
@supadupa I would hope not. And anybody on the right on these forums knows I am on the left of the dial. But common sense can tell you when someone’s health has eroded and common sense would tell you that presidents have been made fun of since the beginning of time.
@Morpheus I think so. I love my job of 20+ years and do not plan to leave it anytime soon. I only lasted two weeks. I could handle the visuals but I could never get used to the smell.
To really find out, ask a good looking white friend of yours to use their picture. And keep everything the same. And see how they fares. It would be a good experiment. Let us know the result
@magpie17201 I would love to see the results of that! Good idea!
@Sooson Yeah pretty much. At least until the mind-reading machines arrive.
Edit: Unless they explicitly state it on their profile or messages, not sure how we would know otherwise.
TheFunCartel, could I share a joke I once told my grandma with you? So some background, everytime me an her would go to her sister's place for coffee and biscuits, some television. They would always look over the obituaries. The joke is How do you know you're getting old ? When you keep in touch with your friends through the obituaries I never saw my grandma laugh so hard in my life.
magpie17201 that is brilliant, I love experiments like that, could take it a step further, and use pictures of people from multiple ethnic backgrounds and compile it all into a spreadsheet or graph.
I’ve been here quite awhile and I’ve had a few pros in the past not answer messages and enthusiast reply and then stop. I’ve wondered if it’s my weight of age.
Wow. I did not know that being a pro was a stepping stone to a career in politics, because politicians are not required to not lie, they are only required to state that they don’t.
People are human and have preferences. and we need to stop thinking we can go against human nature. A petit woman may not [feel] safe with a larger or taller man. We cant socially engineer society to make everything fair and everyone happy-(which is ruining it today). As they say my body -my choice. Move on to someone that WANTS to be with you.
@Bear when you message pros, are you looking to set up a cuddle appointment after asking some questions. I mean if that is not your intent and you just want to ask them questions, I don’t think they have to respond. It is business and time is money.
@magpie17201 Ive had pros not respond at all. I know the difference.
@Bear do you mean you are looking to make an appointment with them and they are just not responding? I can’t see why. I mean just go to a regular massage place and ask them for cuddle instead of a massage. I’m sure some would not mind that. Massaging is a tough job. Hurts the fingers a lot. So to get paid just to lay there with someone, that would be a relief.
@magpie17201 please leave me alone. I’m not looking to do that or looking for your advice. Thank you.
@Bear take this for whatever it's worth to you - I've had many pros who don't respond to my messages, at least initially. Once in awhile I'll get a very, very delayed response - sometimes many weeks later - where the pro tells me that she had so many messages that she missed replying to me. One pro who I've met a couple of times showed me her inbox after one day - 98 messages in her inbox in one day!
So I just assume that a pro who doesn't reply is overloaded with messages.
Hi there. So I can only speak from my personal experience, but as a Pro on this site, I have had a few different types of interactions. So here is my list and how I handle them:
Polite inquiries: Honestly, sometimes I just miss them. CC doesn’t send message notifications, so I made an email just for this. That way I could get alerts when I receive messages because it sends an email. If I DO miss one, and see it later, I will respond with an apology and to see if they found someone or still want a session. But I do try to respond quickly, regardless of who it is. In fact I usually respond to the message with a greeting before even reading a profile.
Impolite (lewd) inquiries: These I will try to remain polite, but if they continue inappropriate advancements, I do report them.
Now. I don’t discriminate, but there have been a few times I have been uncomfortable with a cuddler. Nothing to do with ethnicity or religion, for me it was the age. Some were much younger than I preferred. When they are my kids’ age or younger, I will admit it feels awkward for me. I have considered putting an age minimum, but I didn’t want to exclude someone who does need the comfort. So I personally try to remain open minded, and as sensitive as I can be to my cuddler’s needs. Again, this is just my experience, but I hope it helps at least a little.
@jubal thank you It has happened to me, it’s been quite a while. It was not the last two years or so when I’ve reached out and made better connections. I’ve been here quite a while, so I don’t remember the ones who didn’t respond. Plus, I don’t count the ones that, end up getting banned, lol. I’ve also had a few that I’ve reached out that were not as expensive as other people and they didn’t reply. Then when they did reply, they must’ve realize their price was too expensive and changed it, lol. That gets frustrating sometimes. But I don’t blame them. They at least reply back.
I have noticed one thing about prices with pros. The higher the price the more likely they won’t respond or will ghost you. My take away on that is their price was inflated because they are not looking at volume. In other words they are extremely picky and I am sure there are certain ages and races they won’t cuddle with. Fortunately, this seems to be a small minority of pros.
I think (in a privileged position as a white cis guy) that I would rather not cuddle anyone who would rather not cuddle me - now I can normally assume it's because they don't like the cut of my jib, or the tone of my messages, or they are very busy, or would rather not cuddle a fat guy, rather than it being a form of prejudice, which no doubt makes it easier to be philosophical, but what I'm trying to say I guess is I would rather not cuddle a racist or someone who didn't like trans people, and that would almost certainly be magnified if I was from a different ethnic or racial background, or if I was trans or non-binary myself.
Don't take it personally. Keep it moving. Everyone has an idea of who their ideal cuddle partner may look like until they find out they really don't know until they are open to trying a variety. That's my two cents.
