I’m sick of people wasting my time on here 🤬

I have met with people on here only to have them tell me that I remind them of a past lover or want to do something more than cuddling. I just love being compared to someone’s lover. NOT! Please, if you’re on here to do more than cuddling or looking for a relationship, don’t waste people’s time. Look for love elsewhere.

If people are asking you for things that are not platonic, report them. Only way to get them off the site.

  • @BerrySweet
They don't look at it as wasting someone's time. They know exactly what they're doing. Try to spend more time getting to know and vet potential cuddlers, and their true intentions will nearly always come out.

Anything sexual in someone's profile, messages, or cuddles, can/should be reported. One report often leads mods down a deep rabbit hole to find much more, or much worse, and then they can ban accordingly.

  • It’s almost like selling a used car. So many time wasters, and flakes makes it so difficult to find one perfect cuddle person

I’m very sorry you’ve had your time wasted. I do agree with @SunsetSnuggles though, there are some folks on here that intentionally use this as a low key dating site. But some back and forth messaging should hopefully be able to reveal that.

Through ive also heard some people vet and still have bad experiences, so maybe vetting is a kind of skill that needs developed.

@BerrySweet ~ I feel you on this. @SunsetSnuggles has an excellent point about spending a bit more time, corresponding on-site, getting to know them BEFORE meeting up with them in person. Honestly, though, some people can sound perfectly rational and supportive while messaging, and then still "try" you when you finally meet up. :( Definitely report the ones who are inappropriate, though, so they can be weeded out.

@KuddleKinngg ~ Such time wasters really do make it so, so difficult to find a genuine cuddler. It kind of makes me sad, so I know how she feels--meeting up with someone, excitedly hoping for a cuddler, only to find a groper. Damn. Miss me with that...

  • Just report them.

  • @BerrySweet It’s rough out here. 😅🩷

Relax everyone. Not rough at all. We are not mining Lithium in Africa for 2 dollars an hour.
    A little perspective please.

  • Yes, the not-so-subtle hints of nonplatonic cuddling are not the move. I thoroughly enjoy cuddling as a pro, but sometimes it's off-putting to have a potential cuddlee get snippy for relaying your boundaries. Ok cool, you had a pro/enthusiast give you skin-to-skin, ok.. I am not that person, nor will I participate. When someone states their boundaries and is met with lip you KNOW that person is looking for WAY more. More power to those seeking that kind of connection, respectfully get off this platform. It's discouraging to both parties and makes it difficult for no reason.

I have learned that so many guys are selfish and only thinks about their own needs. No judgement to those looking for a hookup, but don't be looking for it here. There are many other sites to find like minded individuals.

  • Yes, I've had many people waste my time and energy on here unfortunately.

  • edited July 2024

It’s like panning for gold here. There’s a tremendous amount of time and energy expended, much to no avail. And there are a myriad of ways and avenues that that time can and WILL be wasted.

But………. Evvv-errr-eeee once in a while, the stars DO align, and you DO strike gold! And when you do, boy oh boy it’s MAGIC.

And that’s what keeps you coming back.

  • I've had many time wasters as you put it. The ones that are just not compatible that's fine, but some people lie, don't listen, or are deceptive in some way.

    @BerrySweet

Is it bad enough to where you’re considering quitting? There are certain jobs where for me, the pros just don’t outweigh the cons.

  • I relate. Literally every message I get lately is a waste of time, and mf-ers who don’t know how to read. It’s funny because I always hear older people complaining that the younger generation can’t read, but it’s overwhelming older men who never read anything online. 🤣

Once had a guy who was trying to use me to replace his ex wife and acting insanely unhinged. He got super angry when hotel staff knocked on the door for a safety check and proceeded to interrogate me. Glad I got out of there alive 😬😬😬

  • It must be difficult to vet cuddlers, and uncomfortable when bad ones slip through.
Also, 100% tbh... When I saw your profile I had to do a double take because you look just like someone I know. That part shouldn't be so bad. But, I'm sure it's very awkward when it's in a bad context.

  • Anything worth doing is not a waste of time pursuing. It takes time to find quality experiences. Patience is needed. Frustration along way is part of the journey.

  • @bobadevotee
Boomer men, many have not changed since the 1960s. I’ve had the same experience with them, no thanks.

  • I would say the majority of pros don’t read clients profiles. I’ve said before here in the forums how I’ve had pros come over and once they are there, ask me who I live with and seem shocked when I say my wife when it clearly says I’m married in my profile.

  • @lonelytauros it’s easier to insult someone’s profile than develop proper reading skills.

I’ve had courses where I had to regularly read long documents in archaic language with a glossary on the side to help me decipher terms. If you can’t read a few pages in modern English, that’s an intelligence issue.

    . [I shouldn't be rude]

  • @Morpheus

Right, I’ve seen this also, where some pros that I’m messaging to set up a session don’t even check my profile (I’ve got Info and pictures so I don’t see why not )

  • @sunnysideup

Yes I agree that they sometimes won’t even look at my profile. If they do look, they seem to focus more on my karma than my profile.

  • @Morpheus @sunnysideup
That is a real shame, and they should be embarrassed. Obviously peeps can't remember everything or everyone, but especially when first messaging someone, I definitely read their whole profile before sending messages, so I don't say something or ask something that's already been written. I also always do a profile refresher, just prior to meeting in person. It just seems logical, let alone nice... 🤔

@Morpheus I’ve noticed the same thing too - that many don’t even look at mine either. And then they ask questions that are already self evident (it’s no biggie though, I’m sure they get inundated with messages) I’m just commenting.

And although we don’t know if they read our profiles, stats and/or karma, I’m guessing their mentality is probably that they care less about what WE have to say about ourselves and are more concerned with what OTHERS have to say about us in that karma as safety is always their #1 concern so it makes sense. It’s just the lay of the land…

@bobadevotee Your comment surprised me - I've never heard of hotel staff doing safety checks on guests (rather cool to have available though). Was this something that you prearranged, or just part of that hotel's normal operation?

  • Like I clearly have the dates of my California trip on my profile but people are still asking me if I can cuddle now or asking me when I will be there. Just read!
