I do not fraternize with visitors until they provide fingerprints and a birth certificate. My vetting process is what it is. They can, however, provide their TSA Precheck credentials and a $20 fee to expedite. That buys the visitor the opportunity to engage in chit-chat with me because I know they are not a drug mule. We all have our fears.
I actually visited someone by accident today on my desktop. I use middle mouse to speak on discord and I happened to be over someone's name when I spoke today. Usually that's just a mobile thing.
