@BlueIris I love the design you made with the paint. It reminds me of a mini universe.
@MoonlightSonata - Thank you! I just swirled some colors together, and that's how it came out. Totally by chance.
@BlueIris Well it turned out really awesome.

Today I've been planting gardens.
That's nice. @galowglass
@galowglass That's what I want to do too when I get all of the supplies I need.
6:45 central time US. Cried off and on for roughly an hour about my depression and various traumas Ive experienced. Feel drained now. 'Bout to go to sleep early even though I'll probably wake up at 3am wide awake. Haha
Called therapist, no one there, left a message to get some more appointments on the books. Gonna call again in the morning. When they open, not at 3am.
Watching ancient sitcoms on LAFF network
@White_Knight I'm sorry that you're hurting. Have you tried writing down things for which you're greatful? I love that exercise! It allows us to shift our mindset.
I'm atheist, but that doesn't mean I don't wake up every day being thankful that I can move bc I've been in a coma before, I'm thankful for my mom who's amazing and loves me more than anyone else in the world, I love my career, I'm thankful that after a scary accident my friends are still alive and getting better, I'm thankful for my dogs that look at me like I'm the only being in the world that matters lol
I love hiking. I try to do that in the mornings. I used to do night hikes with friends as well.
They say that planning a vacation allows a person to experience a great deal of joy. Interestingly, people get depressed after they return from a vacation. So plan vacations that you might not necessarily go on ?
May your days be brighter and happier
Make that 5 years!
Right now. This moment? Considering laundry instead of vacuuming and maybe walking on the treadmill. Just considering, mind you...
Wondering if sharing a poem was ultimately a good or bad move. Thinking about getting my toes wet, with this cuddle stuff. Asking, How selfish is it for me to "fill in the gaps"? Worse. Asking, Are the gaps all in my head? ... (puzzled)
@galowglass "Thinking about getting my toes wet, with this cuddle stuff"
That gives me a picture of cuddling someone's toes.
I hope you can find someone to get started with (who can cuddle more than just your toes!).
Curious about what the "gaps" are ...?
having coffee after praying my daughter landed safely....now preparing for my day i should be cleaning but sipping nd typin away lol
@respectful
Hehe like on the subways - "Caution! Mind the gap." Also reminds me of that movie Airplane "The red zone is for offloading..."

Home sick with a cold :-/
A summer cold? Those are the worst!
Was just on a "KMOJ" summer cruise on the St. Croix River. If I could have posted right at that moment, I would have. Had a blast. My ears are still ringing and my calves are killin' me from all the dancing.
I’m moving out of my villa on the French Riviera, and going back to the states.
@respectful I just feel like my yearning for cuddles, when I'm in a great marriage is weird or something. Being married, yet finding myself drawn to the idea of platonic cuddling, is causing me cognitive dissonance. There "must" be some void I'm trying to fill, no? I also have a faith that informs me. It's saying that I'm might not be on the right path. So? "Gaps".
@respectful (adding that I have other changes-in-attitudes, going on, "ongoingly" (grin) that bring-to-question this filling-of-gaps.) Thanks for responding.
If one is married and can't feel comfortable or fulfilled with cuddling their spouse, I'd say something is missing or wrong. Being married, you should feel loved and snuggled. I know things go wrong within marriages all the time though. Just saying, ideally, this should be fulfilled.
@crony - no-one should expect their partner (married or otherwise) to fulfill all their needs. It's just not possible for one person to do it. I suspect the most successful partnerships are those where both partners recognize that.
I have to disagree. They don't have to fulfill "all" of their needs, but if your partner is not fulfilling your need for intimacy and companionship (exception being if the person is physically unable to due to illness, etc.), why are they your partner in the first place? That would be akin to me hiring an in-home chef who's food I don't like or want to eat.
I often do hear people say but it is only cuddling so whats the big deal? And there are plenty of people who are accepting of their partner snuggling other people, and there are plenty of people who feel they have good reason to snuggle other people for a myriad of reasons. However, as someone who has been known to be a little bit jealous and insecure at times, I can certainly see why many people would not want their SO cuddling strangers from a website, meeting at their homes or a motel, at times even paying the person, and wearing what amounts to sleep clothes while holding and petting each other. As innocent as it may be and/or seem to some, particularly people on this site as we are all pro cuddle and pro touch, lets not be oblivious.
