What makes you tick?

When a discussion topic fails---sometimes I simply re-frame the subject---especially if the subject is of interest to me! I love discovering what makes people tick! In my case its simply Energizer batteries! Now to the re-frammed question(s).

Of all the things you have done in life, What's the most memorable and /or enjoyable?
Whats the most regrettable?

  • Thats a great discussion idea @dennis22554 , just love it.

  • Based off purely the title alone? My SA node.

The other questions? Weeell, that’s a longer answer, so I stand by the first one.

Performing (dancing) in front of an audience 😄 it was so nerve wracking, but oh so much fun!

  • @DulceLuna were you solo or in a group? I'm just curious. I haven't really performed in front of a group, but I have talked about my films in front of an audience. I find that to be fun. But when I threw shot and discus in front of a small crowd I high school, I was nervous then.

Film making would be my answer. I most regret getting my BA in accounting instead of the arts. Also getting married. I wasn't ready and I did it for the wrong reasons. It burned me.

  • @CentralFLCuddle 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That's real!

  • @RedFox16 😂😂😂 First thing that popped into my head. Like, if I’m gonna be literal here, that’s definitely it.

  • Most memorable/enjoyable would be my competitive soccer years, and playing in my community concert band. So many fun times there.
Regrettable..id have to say getting married too young and getting a degree in something I really disliked (accounting)!
@billiam I totally relate to the accounting and marriage regrets lol

Intelligence. If I learn something while I'm in your company and I'm caught off guard totally unexpected it from you -that makes me tick.

  • Most of them fail or backfire.

    @billiam it was with a group 😄

  • @kymmy44 So we both fell into the same trap... what makes it worse for me is that I chose my major so that I could afford to get married and have a family. Never had the family, which I guess was lucky.

My work, actually! I care for the elderly and sometimes hospice. When I go and take care of someone for a few hours and I know their day is much better, they had good company, safely met their goals, and knew they were important, it lights up my heart.

Travel!!! I'm making great memories and am so incredibly happy to be traveling, I couldn't do that for a long time!

Regrets...I don't really think about the past in that way but I wish I kept more of my childhood and teen years photos.

  • My pacemaker makes me tick 🫀

  • What makes me tick: Smoke/Vapes, Laziness, Bullies, Slow walkers

Most memorable moment: Bizarrely, my first flight to another country and the few days holiday. Even if it was just Edinburgh, still fantastic.

Most regrettable: Not getting my social anxiety treated or even diagnosed during my hellish teen years.

  • Discovering new ideas, concepts and ways of approaching life. Also, “clicking” with a person who “bumped” into me, and hearing someone’s story.
