Did you ever wish you could blow fireballs out of your nostrils?

The rapid increase of the cost of goods and services makes it difficult to stay on budget, especially important when accounting for continued CC bookings. You save a dollar here and there--and adjust. But what I find infuriating is when some company decides to take advantage of a hardship charging an outrageous rate for a service just because they can---I recently locked my car with the keys inside---and had to go with the first mobile locksmith I could find---they charged me $200 to unlock my door--a job that was completed in under a minute. I know that things are expensive--but the rate even embarrassed the technician that arrived to help! Have you recently encountered a similar issue?

  • I was gutted to discover this thread wasn't about dragons.

  • I would love to shoot fireballs out of my nostrils, but only on command. I think potty time would burn if it were involuntary.

  • Fireballs out of nostrils? No, would singe my mustache. But I wouldn't mind being able to throw fireballs like The Human Torch (Fantastic Four) or Pyro (from X-Men) could. Especially in such a situation as you describe.

  • @CuddleDuncan you and me both.

@dennis22554 things have gotten ridiculously expensive and I've been the technician that gets embarrassed when that happens. I've quit a few jobs because the services reached outrageous prices but the employees still got paid the same low rate.

When prices go up, it makes things expensive

More than you know. The envy of my fire-breathing/blowing dragon-cousins is real.

  • Did you ever wish you could blow fireballs out of your nostrils?

    All the time!😁🔥

  • @duncan---my apologies---for your experience as the technician---it took everything from me to tip the technician that came out for the service---but I recognized---thats really how he made his money and the cost of the service was not his fault

  • @ expanding topic---is there any one that pissed you off where you wish you could return fire by shooting fireballs out your nose?

  • Sounds painful, but I can shoot flames out of my stacks , lol

  • Ah thought it was dragon related haha!

  • @waynewv: Wow, that is very cool. Nice truck!

  • Prices have gone through the roof. I don’t know what it’s like in the rest of the country but in LA, minimum wage for fast food employees has gone up to $20 an hour which means the prices of the food have gone up. Fast food is t the ost nutritious choice anyway so I have basically stopped eating it. Costco has become my best friend. Some people will say it’s over consumption etc but I track the per meal price of the foods I get at Costco and I’m eating some pretty good and healthy meals for $5-6 a meal.

  • Today Starbucks has 4 drinks for $20. I know I know coffee is cheaper at home but when I see this deal, I’ll order 4 drinks, always the biggest size possible. Two will be for the wife and I for today and two will be for us tomorrow. I saved over $10 doing this today.

  • but when I see this deal... I saved over $10 doing this today.

Sorry, but you didn't save anything on this deal.

You'd already lost money before even placing your order.

  • @waynewv Bitchin truck, my man! 😁👍

  • I came here for dragon related things, definitely didn’t find that lol.
But I had a thought on the fire breathing and just need to let it out there.
IF one could breathe fire out of their nose, and not die from the heat and everything bad there, it raises one small issue, burning all of your nose hair, I’m too tired to go look at what nose hair does exactly but I know it’s important like any other part of the body.
And I honestly just feel like that would make me sneeze all the time, so I’ve gotta pass on flaming nose bullets here, idk, would be really cool don’t get me wrong, but inconvenient in so many ways, like would sneezing have a chance to make that go off?
