What are they like? Do you ever get turned down or rejected from them? How long do they last?
My experience is that "cuddling workshops" are really just lectures about consent. Attending workshops is not a guarantee of fulfillment of the need for touch/physical affection like a session with a pro is.
Never been to a cuddle workshop, but they have a kind of workshop at the beginning of cuddle parties. The facilitator explains what to expect and the code of conduct. There are consent exercises, then they turn everyone loose to cuddle. Parties are paid events, so there's no way you can be turned down. I've been to half a dozen.

I enjoyed the cuddle party I went to. It's worth a try, but not the same experience as one on one with a pro.

Yes, I did attend a few. They are fun - you meet new people, you learn about affirmative consent. I am not aware of the parties rejecting people. I have even found paid cuddlers trying to find clients in these parties. However, if you want to cuddle with someone at a party, they have the right to refuse you. And you are supposed to graciously accept it (duh!) . The parties last around 3 hours, with the first 45 minutes a workshop on affirmative consent and accepting refusal.
