I didn't even know I was blocked from people on here (this thread) (or ultimately why) until my comments were removed..so I obviously have no idea about the protocol on blocking.
My goal is to relate and get along with everyone, everywhere no matter who you are...and say kind words to you as well.

I agree with this as well.
We can all get along on a cuddle website (meant to bring us closer together) if we leave all of our baggage at the prompt. I challenge you to be kind to one another, forget how things appear in a hostile environment and remind yourself that you are a human being. And that those that you interact with are human too.
Not sure IF this occurs to me but when I do a search of 'cuddlers' on my pc then their pic, age, miles from my location, and their hourly fee appears. However when I search on my IPad or IPhone their fee does not appear just the other details.
So, IF I click on either my IPAD or IPhone then it shows that I've 'visited them' and well that feels strange to visit and not either say "HI" or send a message or book a cuddle.
IF this happens to everyone else can't the site have their fees appear on all devices? Also, if this is just my devices then nevermind.
I can see fees when searching on my phone.
@WriterGF hmmmmm then I have no clue why I cannot. I even tried to strrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrretch to images. Oh well thanks for letting me know.
@KnightlyCuddles Yes the fees and miles is purposefully hidden on mobile in search, mostly due to preventing information overload. Though it does sound useful to be visible.

There needs to be a VERY VISIBLE warning/reminder about no soliciting or advertising for cuddles on the General forum.
I dunno if they would need it here but ID verifications and bg checks. Yeah it would cost a bit to do buttttt would maybe cut down and some other problems I've noticed.
@SheaBear36 It would, but so far the site has shown no inclination to do it. What I have heard is they think it will discourage membership, although there may be reasons besides that.
@WriterGF agreed. It's just a shame that something like this that is free for users to sign up on has to come with titanic levels of BS some days

As a Pro who's been here for a decent chunk of time: I would like a small filter I can click through that will allow me to pick through the quality of members that can see my profile. Meaning, I don't want a brand new profile created this month with no picture, no karma and nothing filled out (basically no effort) contacting me. OR at the very least if you click the book button on my profile a few questions pop up that you have to correctly answer before being able to book. For example if your click to book me, "Does OliveGreen host?" "Are you local to OliveGreen?" "Did you discuss a session, deposit, location and time, prior to booking OliveGreen?" or something along those lines. I'm so sick of empty, new profiles booking me as their first message.. Just read my profile. It's short and sweet and has all the info you need. It takes less than a minute.

In addition, if you choose to book me and you live +2hrs away a prompt for travel compensation and minimum session time for that distance would pop up and you'd have to accept that in order to book
Maybe a summary should be encouraged but not a must. It should just prompt you that pros who've selected their client filters wont show up for you if you don't have at least a few sentences in your profile, and a photo.
I don't think verification will happen but there's no harm in trying for it.
I think that the site should be more involved in the booking process, they should have the a feature to verify identity to enhance safety for all users before the meet, they should also require a deposit on site to send a booking request. I’ve had a lot of creeps send me requests then get weird the moment they have my number
@lolajane keep all communication on the site. Clients get weird after booking: screenshot, block and report. You can always build into your hourly rate, the price to verify your clients identity. You will have to follow local, state and federal laws for securely maintaining/storing and using for everywhere you work, since states vary. Ex: Sharing photos or identifying information without the person's consent/permission may be illegal.) The site cannot be more involved in the booking process without becoming employers, which is a responsibility the owner, who is in the UK, doesn't want. Liability increases as an employer, which obviously isn't something the site owner wants. (see above.) As an employer, many other laws go into effect for the employees, like taxing, background checks and identification processing.
@OliveGreen just put in your profile your requirements for a first contact. If not met, block them. Easy peasy.
@starrynitecuds you say that as if that information hasn't been there since day 1 of my account lol. The problem is most people just click through the photos and then book.
When you block someone it doesn’t block them here in the forum. I can still see responses from people I have blocked and suspect the other way around is true too. Seems like it shouldn’t work like that.
It’ll be cool is the forums were set up like they are on reddit. If someone commented on a response it’ll be right under the comment instead of all jumbled up. I think that would help keep conversations organized and hopefully prevent any confusion.
@hoosierdan76 Blocking allows you to control who messages you and who can see your profile. It doesn't block forums because you have the option not go into the forums and/or to simply ignore posts by people you don't like.
In my opinion, the improvements to this website (and any digital platform for that matter) may have to come from within. The manner in which we think of ourselves. How we treat each other, or see each other is everything. How do we stop a bad narrative? How do we help someone who needs it? How do we create an inviting atmosphere for those that are new?
Software improvements are always needed, but it's up to us to promote the human upgrade.
A kind act may seem silly or seem to have no affect, but if a new person comes to the website, how will I (or we) be viewed?
Kindness and patience really are our biggest currency.
I've skipped the last several human upgrades because they've significantly lowered the T without any notification.

@susieq123 i just learned that you can adjust the dollar amount when sending a request. That might solve your issue.
A brief tutorial video that is stickied on all pages would be quite effective in orientating new Users and would help to avoid a lot of the same questions.
Much more effective, I believe, than expecting Users to read pages and pages of rules.
☆I would like a way to perhaps post locally that I am looking for a cuddle buddy.
Like some type of option on the left side of the screen perhaps that showed local posts; "Looking for cuddle buddy for Saturday, can host, snacks included!" and when you click on it, it would have a description and you can view the user who posted it.
That way if someone is shy, they could just view your post and reply-or if the shy one is posting, other people could respond.
