I talked about breast augmentation surgery with my girlfriend but she didn't like it. I thought I looked sexy.
I would have to say any transplant surgery, because essentially someone is getting a new shot at life. Heart, lung, kidney. It's amazing to me how awesome this is.

I’ve had quite a few surgeries but having both knees replaced, 3 months apart - TKR and being 💯 dedicated to the PT that immediately followed (starting day of!!) was the smartest/best decision I’ve made. It’s kept me very physically young, active and able to do so much more than most people my age and even younger. When was the last time you jumped on a trampoline?? Don’t waste your life being in pain, if you have knee issues, do it 😊

Not an actual surgery I guess, but I've had two endoscopies in the past. Pro tip: Get sedated if you're anxiety ridden.

I have had both knees replaced. Best thing that I did. It gave me a new lease on life as they say. Occasionally I’ll claim to be bionic or a cyborg.
I’ve only had one which was a colectomy. The cute Asian nurses made it worthwhile.
I have had bi lateral carpel tunnel release as well as both elbows… honestly no my hands still have no grip no significant improvement.. and they over cut in one arm making it in fact worse..
I also had my tonsils removed and they grew back.
I have a deviated septum. They tried to fix that, but it didn’t work and I stopped breathing on the table. I think I’m just not meant for surgery. Lol
Has tonsils removed 2 years ago. No more funky throat issues and snoring greatly reduced
Prostate removal. Cancer gone and life goes on.
My favorite was my Optorectomony - the procedure that severed the nerve connecting my eyeballs to my a$$hole to get rid of my $hitty outlook on life!
Still waiting to see if it helped-the first 20 years since I had it have been inconclusive…

1) It was elective 2) Successful 3) No side effects 4) No worries of accidents 5) All of the wonderful benefits that are not fit for print here.
Okay I'm pretty tied on this, but I would say first my hysterectomy, and second ear pointing , which I plan on doing next year.
For the hysterectomy, that's pretty common sensible- No worries about babies Second would be ear pointing, because I can't wait to visibly represent as the wood elf I am.

Trepanning is a pretty good one. Been used successfully for thousands of years.
Personally, my hysterectomy. My uterus was riddled with a veritable fruit salad of fibroids and I was happy to kick that fucker out. GYN described the big ones as cantaloupe, grapefruit, and an orange, which is a disgusting mix for salad. I’ve had a few others that were largely unavoidable (tonsillectomy, thyroidectomy), but recovery was a bitch for those.
As a nursing student, I observed 2 major surgeries (carotid endarterectomy and a lithotripsy) and I liked them for completely different reasons. If I had to pick one, the endarterectomy would be it, though. The surgeon let me get as close as possible without breaking surgical field plus the patient was awake during the procedure and it was just wild to me. If ICU doesn’t work for me, OR nurse is my second choice (hopefully).

Most of the surgeries I've had have occurred due to a life threatening situation. Endoscopy for a biopsy because of histoplasmosis was by far the easiest to recover from as I was 17 at the time. Both my children were C-section, so those probably should be my favorites lol.
I've had a few other procedures, but my favorite was my hysterectomy. I'm still mad they left an ovary. Idc that I'd live 10 years less. Cysts make my life icky. 🤣

Assisted s****e still working on it. . I don't think I've ever had surgery, well on my eyes when I was little, don't remember much, I just hate hospitals.
