@GameStriker4481 As a Thanos-lover I had zero problem making Thanos the central focus. He's been the underlying focus for 10 years, really. My issue was after awhile it felt like they were spoon-feeding his sorrow to us. I don't need to see Thanos whimpering to understand he's mourning but Marvel did do stellar job at making the movie balanced with action, comedy and feels.
@lilredmage They definitely had to tone down Thano's power a tad to make it more interesting. I think my issue is the same as Black Panther. In Civil War Panther was truly amazing in every way. In his own movie tho they toned down his power to make you feel his struggle. Same with Thanos. He appeared all-powerful in Guardians 1(complet with golden goldlike armor) but then his power seemed a tad dampened in IW - they even took away his armor so he appeared more human and vulnerable.
All in all I can't wait to see Infinity War again but you know how fickle and obsessed comic fans are. And being a Thanos fan I had to scrutinize every cell, hair and muscle. I'm sure I'll be less picky and more entertained the next time I see it.

I hear the arguments about the "jumping to hyperspace crashing through Imperia cruisers" in the Last Jedi ruining the Star Wars Universe, but who cares it was one of the best scenes I have ever seen in any Star Wars movie.
My second favorite scene was the first time the Millennium Falcon jumped into hyperspace in A New Hope - the audience literally cheered the first time it happened! That and the battle on the ice planet Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back.

How can Rogue One be in anyone's top list of anything is beyond me. That movie was terrible except for the last ten minutes. lol
@lilredmage I liked Rogue One because it expanded upon the universe that we know. I loved the fan-service and just the overall love and care for the universe itself. The Anthology films remind of the old EU that expand on the films and are not necessarily bound by elements of the Episodes. The only thing I didn't like was the characters (though I knew all of them were just fodder from the trailers).
With the Anthology films, I don't have strict expectations on them because they are stand alone films. The Episodes (and part of the reason why I have issues with Last Jedi) are films where I have strict expectations because they are the main story. I expect Episodes to cover elements such as The Force, Skywalker Bloodline (which I feel is what the episodes are supposed to be centered squarely on), balancing of light and dark, and growth of characters over periods of time in a consistent and in a manner that makes sense.
I really liked rogue one but damn those last ten minutes were AMAZING Vader was beyond evil.
I thought it was great especially since it explained a lot of stuff about Han that I always wanted to know. Him and chewy meeting, kessel run, Lando, etc.
I saw Solo last night. Still trying to decide whether I liked it or not. But I would like to cuddle with Emilia Clarke (Qi'ra) and Erin Kellyman (Enfys Nest)!
I honestly didn't really like Qi'ra. I cringed everytime her and Han kissed. I was like "Girl, those lips belong to the Princess Leia". I did think Enfys Nest was kind of wasted as a character. I was really interested with that character and she was only there for like 15 mins out of the entire film. I did like Paul Bettany's character, but I kinda wanted him to do more.
